Happy weekend all and welcome to our newbies, even though we don't post every day I am finding this thread is definitely keeping me more on track.
@rosepelargonium sorry to hear about your DH and other bereavements but it sounds like you have a good plan in place, 2 stone by Christmas is a great goal and I'm looking to lose something similar.
@IllTrytobenice chicken and peanut salad sounds lovely, weirdly considering the heat my water intake has gone down this week I really need to focus on drinking enough next week.
@WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa don't feel guilty for having a rest day, they are needed to help us keep going, I try to have 2 rest days a week and do extra steps on the other days to make up for it.
@Rogue1001MNer wow 1.5 stone before you went away is great! As disheartening as it is to put weight back on at least you know you can do it now, I always find getting into it the hardest part.
Average few days here, I have been hitting my steps and just staying under my calories but not eating particularly healthily and 16:8 went out the window, Magnum's have made up much of my diet these last few days
Today has not gone well, we went to pizza express for lunch and I had a glass of wine...just couldn't resist in this sunshine and we are going out with friends tomorrow and I had decided I'll have a drink then so had a momentary fuck it moment whilst ordering our drinks earlier, regretting it now but will definitely not drink again after tomorrow until bank holiday weekend.
Going to plan meals for the week ahead tomorrow to hopefully make up for the bad weekend, and I'm just about to text a friend I met at the gym (who hasn't been in as long as me!) to see if she is up for going back to a class this week. It's a lovely small gym and the staff are super friendly but I still get a bit scared of going back on my own after a long break
