Whether I’m alone in it or not!

I’m totally fed up of filling my face before I ‘start again tomorrow.’ So in a novel approach, I have filled my face before I start again tomorrow.

Anyone else in the same boat feel free to join, but I’ll be back tomorrow regardless Grin

200 cals over today but happy with that. Had my Covid booster so feeling a bit meh. I'm going for the next half stone loss, 2lbs down 5 to go!

@OddSocksSparklyDocsandDungaree it sounds counter intuitive but if you replaced some of the snacks with wholegrain carbs you might lower your sugar and feel fuller for longer. That's what I would do in your shoes.

Going well today.

Usual porridge and left over prawn and lentils and naan.

Feeling very poorly after my covid booster and the histamine from the prawns have sent me into an eye streaming head gouging headache.

Spot on cals today and I am stuffed!

Home made fish and chips for dinner - basa in panko, potatos cut into chips, peas, carrots, mayonnaise and lemon.

Enough for a glass of milk, couple of strawberries and a spoon of yoghurt later to take some medication with.

Another shit day here, just excuse after excuse. I really HAVE to do this, I feel like I’m sliding slowly down a slope just putting a pound on here and there and before I know it I’ll be big and old and unable to shift it.

I WILL be within my cals tomorrow. I will!! 💪💪 and I will post my menus every day just to bore people 😂

In 2 weeks I'll be on my hols - that's the incentive to keep going and be good.
No breakfast. Ham salad no dressing and a pear for lunch. Small pack of sweet chilli crisps, teriyaki chicken a small bread roll and some mushrooms for dinner. Then my zumba class.

Hungry now but avoiding the kitchen!

Oh @MountainSun I feel your pain. The best advice I can give is forget about the days that are behind you, the only day that matters is the current one. Plus the overall general trend over a month I think so don't worry about a few bad days.

I was looking for signs of actual weight loss. I've lost half an inch around my waist. Not much. And my shoulder line looks slimmer. I mean, shoulder line, it's not really the first part you want to lose weight is it. And yet my thighs remains untouched. I actually don't massively care but I do wonder where it is coming off from. My face looks fuller than before maybe as I am eating less sugar and more nutritious food, protein, carb etc.

I'm late to the game but love the name of this thread and like the idea of looking at losing the weight in small chunks. I managed to lose two stone quite quickly in lockdown in 2020 but as life has got back to normal it has crept back on. I've a big birthday in August so working towards that - a bit at a time.

I know I'm late to the party but can I join too? I'm battering the treadmill most days and trying hard to lose half a stone but I need my mouth sewing up especially at the weekends! I'm a sucker for a glass of wine or four Blush

Me too! Weekends and wine are my downfall! Better day yesterday. Trying to be stricter in the week so i can be a little naughty at the weekend. now 11st 8. Getting there. 10lb down, 22 to go...

If I had these snacks in the house I'd be similar. Literally don't buy them. By fruit instead, drink lots water/whatever when you crave a snack

More the merrier, welcome everyone. Good day here. I've realised I have been a massive grump for over a week. Due to Covid/not Covid (who knows), Covid booster, period, and another medication that I have to take. I look like I have two bruised eyes and my tinnitus has gone crazy. However today was actually a feeling fairly good day compared to the others so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Porridge, fruit and yoghurt, chicken casserole and fish and chips. Actually was under so snuck in some peanut butter and jam on oatcakes.

Good day yesterday, appetite much lower Grin I think I'm at 11 and half stone which is a big improvement. Off on hol Fri and am going to try and keep low carbing on the whole, just to maintain. Do not want to gain. Not worth it after all the effort of the last few weeks!!!
