Whether I’m alone in it or not!

I’m totally fed up of filling my face before I ‘start again tomorrow.’ So in a novel approach, I have filled my face before I start again tomorrow.

Anyone else in the same boat feel free to join, but I’ll be back tomorrow regardless Grin

Struggling today because I have been so ridiculously busy that I only had an apple on the go for breakfast, then ended up having loads of lunch and now only have 300cals left 😭
But I’ll do it!!!!

Greek tuna salad sounds amazing. Forgive me I have sinned. Incredibly stressful day led to a packet of tortilla chips and a yoghurt bar thing. I'm going to calorie count it and see what is left. Oh god and not counting the popcorn bar too!

Oooh yes please! What a great idea @MountainSun. I lost weight while pregnant (not a humble brag, I desperately needed to and it was entirely down to morning sickness) but now I’ve stopped BFing it’s creeping back on and I still have another 1.5 stone to go! Hoping to get cleared to get back on the exercise bike by the doctor, but desperately need a thread like this to keep me accountable with food during the day

Met my parents for lunch today and managed not to go mad - have done 15k steps today which helps! Light dinner (and small glass of wine) and I'll still be under Smile

I forgot about the Yaar Bar. These are far too nice. I think I may need to buy my train ticket in advance and not take my wallet work. And plan my lunch properly for the office days. Hey ho.

I have made a cassoulet and am awaiting it. If I have a small portion I'll be 50 cals over. We'll see. I may eat more and jump on my exercise bike so it balances!

Well I did it and I’m 6 cals UNDER! Somehow! Now I need to not enter the kitchen again.

Piece of fruit loaf and a muller corner for tea. Lovely!

Half a stone or 10 lbs to shift too. I’m usually active and have a healthy diet but have slipped up over winter with two bouts of covid. I stopped exercising and hit the carbs.

I started last monday and have lost 3/4 lbs. I’m following a loose plan of low cal Mon-Thursday 600 to 900 and 1200 - 1400 at the weekends. Nice treat and wine allowed at the weekends too.

I’ve done 30 mins gentle exercise each day and walked the dog. Need to start slowly as I’m still getting over covid from early March.

I do feel better actually and my skin looks healthier. Keep going everyone.

I'm going away in 3 weeks and have gained and lost the same lbs since Christmas.

I'm going to hang about on here and post too if that's ok as I'd love to lose what I can in the next 3 weeks (to start with).

Yday - porridge for breakfast, walked to work, soup for lunch - dog walk - then fish and 2 glasses of red.

Jog this morning and poached eggs for breakfast.

Black coffee for breakfast (IF), late breakfast of chicken sausages, turkey bacon and 2 poached eggs. Dinner of lamb steaks and salad. Both yesterday and day before.

Same late breakfast today, dinner will be salmon with pea and broccoli mash with asparagus and lemon.

Weighed in for first time this morning (day 4 of diet) so know what I've got to play with. Still no cravings for wine which is good for me! Feeling good and motivated.

Have swum twice this week & done an hour's walk today.

Just started intermittent fasting.
So only just had my lunch at 2pm.
Hadn't eaten anything since dinner last night at 8.
Will stop eating earlier tonight!

Can I join please, I was thinking of making a thread to check in daily to give me some accountability.
I have 14 days until I go on holiday, I went from 11 stone 6 to 10 stone 8 last summer but have crept back up to 10 stone 13 😞
My ideal weight would be 10 stone 6 but I just want to try and lose what I can before the holiday so if I’m lucky I could try and get a couple of lb lighter.
I’m going to start tomorrow as I will be ordering a food shop, my plan is granola with a sliced banana for breakfast, smoothie at lunch time or possibly something with eggs then lots of veg with some protein for tea, trying to avoid carbs as much as possible
I’m a terrible snacker from around 7pm and also struggle to stop one I start (I can’t eat just 1 or 2 biscuits) so I’m going to try not to eat after my evening meal.
My work is very active so I don’t struggle to get my steps in but I’m going to aim to run (couch to 5k) 3 times a week, swim once and do lots of sit ups to try and combat my untoned stomach.

Had a weigh in this AM and down a pound but I think it was being dehydrated.

Good day today - cereal, left over cassoulet and a mexican bean stew. Came in just over but done 15mins on the bike and will do another 10mins, so will be on budget today.

Hope y'all had good days. Looking forward to seeing what the scales say on Sunday. Must not waver on snacks.

  1. 700 calories over. 2100 calories today. But do you know what, it’s my time of the month, the kids are all off with covid, I’m trying to work from home, and I just needed nice food. On the plus side - I logged it all which is a positive as if not it might have been even more.

Will keep it in perspective and have a better day tomorrow! 💪 I will NOT go into this summer feeling fat.

I think if you’re trying to wfh with covid kids then somethings gotta give!

I went a bit over on cals today after a tricky late meeting but before I gave into a glass of wine with a small bowl of crisps, I did quite an intensive 45 min home workout. I didn’t feel like it but enjoyed once I got going, also had the back doors open with a lovely breeze while working out. Nice weather makes everything easier!

Yeah I think more calories are needed in the run up to and on your period. It's a choice between murder someone or eat Wink so lesser of two evils really. I find I am much happier if I am forgiving around that time and get back on it as much as I can.
