Whether I’m alone in it or not!

I’m totally fed up of filling my face before I ‘start again tomorrow.’ So in a novel approach, I have filled my face before I start again tomorrow.

Anyone else in the same boat feel free to join, but I’ll be back tomorrow regardless Grin

Went over yesterday by quite a bit but then down half a pound this morning! Back to where I was on Jan 1st so a nice milestone to hit. Onwards and up(down)wards! Grin

I don't like the sound of those fancy scales. Plain rude, in fact! My scales were much kinder to me this morning, so I'm trying to keep the momentum going over the weekend by avoiding the booze and crisps.

Not a bad first day for me, I had granola with a sliced banana on top with milk for breakfast, a smootie made with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and milk for lunch then 2 melt in the middle fishcakes with green veg for tea. I should have just had 1 fishcake but I had been swimming so was really hungry. Couldn’t go for a run today as I had covid last week so spent the week in bed and after going back to work yesterday I was aching this morning but did go for a walk at dinner time plus the swim this evening. I would estimate I have eaten around 1300 calories and my watch that tracks my activity says I’ve burned 1994 so that’s good. Hardest part will be between now and 9:30 as that’s my snacking time so I need to stay out of the kitchen 😆

I took some lunch to a friends and shared it, so ended up with a lot less on my plate. She then shared something she had left over for dinner, so subsequently I think I am way under today. That is what my stomach tells me anyway. I'm headed home and I really want a hot bath. I have a feeling there is something wrong with my hot water which may induce a meltdown (of me).

I have an reunion in two weeks and my god I want to look fitter for then. So, this weekend I am dusting off the swimming costume.

One luke warm bath later...I'm 500 cals under today but in bed and too tired to eat more. Will try and go 300 over tomorrow as only needed to be 200 under. Or just bank it.

mistyskies events like that are a great incentive! A few years back i went to my much younger sisters hen weekend with her beautiful thin friends - i lost 3/4 stone before and am so pleased - i look great in those photos!

I'm down another half pound today. I shouldn't weigh so often but it keeps me on track. So 1.5lb loss this week. I wonder if I can lose another .5lb by tomorrow. Might be wishful thinking but I do have a lot of housework to do!

Total loss 7.5lb.

Porridge for breakfast
Bean stew, poached egg, pak choy and brocolli for brunch
Warm ciabatta roll with prawns & avocado and dry coleslaw made of carrot, spring onion, mooli radish for lunch
Tonight is going to be hake, spinach, roasted peppers, possibly some bean stew or roasted potatoes depending on calorie allowance

Just about to do some intensive gardening (decking scrubbing).

Granola with banana and milk for breakfast
Apple and a activia yogurt on my break at work
Smoothie once home then for tea a half portion of homemade spaghetti bolognese with broccoli, peas and runner beans.
Estimated around 1200 calories and my watch says I’ve burnt 2471 today.
I’ve done 18500 steps at work and 100 sit ups once home.
Plan to go for a run tomorrow morning then do a weigh in, I know it’s only been a couple of days but I’m hoping I might have lost a little 🤞🏻
Tomorrow will be my toughest day as I’m going for Sunday lunch at my mums and it’s also my nieces birthday so there will be cake and lots of treat foods, I am hoping to eat lots of veg with the lunch then might have a very small bit of cake and some fruit

Nearly missed the post every day deadline 😱

Today has been ridiculously busy, I was doing SO well and then I was surprised with a lovely mothers day afternoon tea as I’m working tomorrow. Couldn’t exactly say no! I’d had a very good day until then though so although the cake was tricky to work out I’d say I’m only 500 or so over. If I wasn’t calorie counting it would have been 2500 so small wins I suppose!
Back into work tomorrow though so it should be much easier.

Well done @MountainSun we all need a treat every now and then otherwise it wouldn’t be worth it 🙂
I got up and went straight out for a run this morning then came back and did my 100 daily sit ups, weighed myself before a shower and was 10 stone 9lb so that’s a loss of 4lb already, I know it could fluctuate so might go back up a bit but I’m happy to see such a big difference in just a few days
I have received 2 boxes of chocolates for Mother’s Day but I’m going to try and be strict with myself and just take out 2-3 in an evening then put the boxes straight away so I get a little treat but don’t sit scoffing the whole box 🤞🏻

Oh my god so today I calculated what one pound is in grams. My total loss is 8lb which is - I kid not - 3.5kg of flour. 3.5 large bags of flour. I still can't believe how heavy that feels. 1kg bag of flour feels heavy!

So today I reached my goal of 2lb loss this week, yay.

Had a mish mash mother's day meal of various bits, and thai chicken curry with brown rice and loads of veg. Brown rice and lentils are feeling a bit of a winner as they keep me full.

Not a bad day for me 🙂

A very small slither of cake, couldn’t really be called a slice as it was only a mouthful then a bowl of fruit brûlée which was grapes, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi and nectarines topped with with crème fraiche, amaretto biscuits and a sprinkle of brown sugar then grilled until the biscuits warm and start to melt, one of my favourite desserts 🙂
I am probably going to also have a couple of my Mother’s Day chocolates with a glass of milk but for Mother’s Day and a nieces birthday I feel like I have eaten lovely food but also not totally ruined my healthy eating, no idea on calories today but have burnt 2142 and can’t imagine I’ve eaten lots more than that

Well done losers, I weighed today and I’ve lost 2lbs in a week. Pretty sure it’s mostly water but still, I’ll take it!

Morning all. Well I'm v pleased thst yesterday's carbs havent added weight. Am the same as Sat which I'm very happy with. Hoping my appetite will start reducing this week 🤞

@MistySkiesAfterRain it truly is the most wonderful dessert, I’ve never known it anywhere else but my mum has made it for as long as I can remember. I’ve never tried to work out the calories but it is mainly fruit so as far as desserts go it must be one of the healthy ones but it still tastes so good 🙂

I’ll join you, posting every day will help. I’ve lost 10lb but want to lose another 8, and quite quickly too! My plan is low carb and very limited booze.
