Whether I’m alone in it or not!

I’m totally fed up of filling my face before I ‘start again tomorrow.’ So in a novel approach, I have filled my face before I start again tomorrow.

Anyone else in the same boat feel free to join, but I’ll be back tomorrow regardless Grin

Did week 3 of C25K second run this morning.

Went out for tea last night and had sharing plate of grilled chicken and prawns and one naan between us. And one large glass of wine.

That compared to my usual of a curry, a veg side and rice and naan and 2 bottles of beer....

Veg soup for lunch and porridge for breakfast with stewed fruit and 2 mini choc cakes as colleague's birthday.

Not a great day for me yesterday. I am feeling the pressure at the minute. I am a full time student with the Open University alongside working 30 hours and family so life is usually pretty hectic in term time but as the end of the uni year draws in I have some pretty large assignments due and exams coming up to revise for and it all felt a bit much yesterday. I stuck with my regular meals of granola and bananas for breakfast, smoothie for lunch and had garlic and herb pork for tea with roast baby potatoes and lots of veg but I also had a small bag of dolly mixture mid afternoon and way more milk tray chocolates than was necessary in the evening. I did go for a run and do 100 sit ups though.
9 days until my holiday and I do think I might be able to be somewhere between 10 stone 6 - 10 stone 8 which I would be happy with considering I was 10 stone 13 just a week ago.
It’s a work day today and I’m doing an afternoon shift so tea will be a ready meal I can buy and put in the microwave but I normally go with a king prawn risotto which isn’t too bad calorie wise

I haven't weighed this morning as wine led to food.... back on the wagon this morning!

Pmt came back with a vengeance. Really wasn't feeling my lunch so had a toasted bacon sandwich, and now some grapes and a square of chocolate. Had enough to get going, now just need to keep busy. I think I might have some soup as a second lunch later as that is deceptively filling and comfort food.

I’ve had an okay couple of days this week, nibbled a bit of leftover Mother’s Day cheesecake each evening which added extra calories I did not need. Wish someone would just finish the bloody thing!

I have eaten lots of veg which is something I’m trying to improve. I’m definitely snacking less in the daytime since I started this.

Welcome chocolateandwine congratulations on your new baby, 5 weeks postpartum is still very early to think about weight loss. Look after yourself and enjoy your little one. It’s a nice time of year to have a baby, lots of spring walks Smile

Day went down hill with excessive amounts of toast. I should have just taken the morning off but it's so hard. Hi boss I've got pmt and need to stare at the wall for a while. Maybe go for an aimless walk. Will have to come up with a plan as my PMT is awful these days.

Not sure, 2000-2500 cals.

Good day here today. Just so hectic. Only just got in. Couldn’t count calories due to being on the move and not being able to weigh but I’ve eaten sensibly.

One tiny bit of chocolate cake, not even v nice. 4 crackers and cheese…fish and lentils for tea, soup for lunch with a roll, poached egg and one slice of toast.

Think I’ll take a banana to work as arrived home hungry.

Ok day today though quite a bit of chocolate! Compensated with a brisk walk and very healthy meals (chicken salad and eggs and veg). Am 10st 7, trying to get to 10st. Mid 40s so finding it hard

@DSGR I know the feeling, I am early 40s and already it is much harder than late 30s. So my logic is to get to the right ball park now as it will never be as easy as it is now!

God. Bad day lol. So, I have at least ascertained that I may have Covid as someone I worked with has it, which may explain why I have felt so god awful the last two days! Sent for a PCR.

Damage counting...today was 2,800 cals. So if I had an extra 1300 yest and an extra 1600 today that is 2900 extra. I read somewhere that 3500 cals extra is one pound so I am going to call that the damage and get back on it tomorrow. It is actually scary how quickly it can come back on! Feasibly I can lose 2lb a week, but if I self sabotage then I can put back on 3lb a week!

Middling day for me - didn’t count calories as I was going to a friends house for lunch. Thought I’d just be sensible. Well I should know by now that I can’t do that 😂😂

Mistyskies I find the carb cravings during PMT insane, sympathies. I have found having less, sugar, alcohol and caffeine helps, but not easy...

Keeping on keeping on here. Half way to first target (11 st)...

Lost 1.7Kg since last week - probably water - but I'll take anything right now!

I'm early 50s...I spent my 40s over weight after always being slim (menopause stated at 36). I don't want to spend my 60s being 3 stone overweight.

@colouringindoors Its so hard! I wasn't having any sugar, then that all failed! I only have one green tea in the morning and I haven't drunk any alcohol in maybe 2 or 3 months.

I think I should have just dialled up the wholegrain carbs - veggie soup, brown rice, jacket potato etc. then I wouldn't reach for the sugary things as much.

Eaten better today, cereal, wrap, soup and fish and potatoes for dinner. A satsuma snack and I might have yoghurt after dinner.

Came in just under. Not been that hungry today which isn't surprising. Tomorrow is fish pie. I made it last November and froze it. Hope it is okay.

Low days all week in the daytime. Then varying degrees of restraint though the week.
Zumba class and low tea mon. Good.
Afternoon tea for dinner tues. Not good.
Zumba class and relatively low dinner wed (leftover cake but only a small bit) ok.
Low day and dinner thurs. Good.
Fish and chips out for dinner today. Bad. I did leave half of my chops and a lot of the batter from the fish but still....

I've just 3lb this week and need to not just put it all back on this weekend!

16 sleeps til my hols.
4 meals out yet to go so I am aiming to be as good as possible the rest of the time.

Good day yesterday! It was a maintaining date rather than a losing day, but I’ll take that - it wasn’t a gaining day!! I’m going to weigh on Monday I think 🤞🤞
