Hi everyone. New thread as promised. A little later than planned but I'm blaming celebrating too much last night.
I wish I could say it was a good start but I'm feeding my hangover today so looks like I'm going to start tomorrow.
Is everyone feeling motivated?

my god!!! i've just done it and im sure i have lost 3 stone in water!!!!
its agony, i can feel the effects already but as they say... no pain no gain!

SWlurker · 04/02/2008 16:50

Sugarlumps are they the ready to microwave in a couple of minutes ones or dried ones (panicking now because thought more or less all dried ones were free!)

Your lunch sounds good, I reember being told those beans and sausages were 2 syns, is that for a whole big tin or half/little one?

hmmmm what to get for dinner. sigh I'm so food orientated, I swear skinny people just don't enjoy eating! (unless they are skinny thanks to SW!!)

Morgan · 04/02/2008 16:51

Misdee i can imagine it must be annoying in rl - sorry to laugh.

Thanks re the rices and pasts syns.

Had a red day today - breakfast out eggs and bacon - maybe fried but soaked up the fat off it and a little toadt - syns. Some fruit - then steak salad mushrooms and j pot heb for tea. Got my dd's 2nd birthday party tomorow so have lots of cakes and biscuits etc - will try not to eat then too much and then dinner out on Weds and Fri.

Kitbit - i am overseas too and you can join bodyoptimise website which is sw for people abroad.

misdee · 04/02/2008 16:56

no no morgan, laugh away, i have to otherwise i would cry.

sugarlumps · 04/02/2008 16:58

lurker, they are the dried ones, they microwave in about 10 = 15 mins i think i always do them in a pan,

and as for the beans and sausages its 2 syns for 100g, but i had 1/4 tin (big one) with only 2 sausages so im counting that as 1 syn, the tin was 400g so its probably only half a syn but im over estimating again!

Morgan · 04/02/2008 17:38

Right just seen some photos of me and it is not a pretty site - pls keep me motivated - i look horrible.

sugarlumps · 04/02/2008 17:42

morgan, stick the photo's up of yourself on the fridge and food cupboards, so everytime you feel tepted to slip you see a pic of yourself!

reikizen · 04/02/2008 18:02

God, I'm disgusted with myself! I have just spent the last two days eating as much as I physically can after doing really well and losing nearly a stone. Why on earth would I do such a thing, I'm not even hungry on this diet and was really enjoying feeling healthy and looking better. I dare not go on the scales because I'll cry. Tell me I'm not a hopeless loser who will never lose this damn weight!

Can I add that I have been naughty this weekend as well - loads of stuff that I shouldnt have eaten - ws there something inthe air or a full moon or something??!!

Back on track ready for tomorrow now - skivved off weigh in today as I couldnt be bothered to be told have put a pound on!! No doubt I will be getting a note from the consultant or a phone call, but I will promise to be good and go next week! Will follow the Fast Forward plan for this week -- lost 3lbs with that just before Xmas!

kid · 04/02/2008 20:21

I blew it over the weekend too, so I didn't bother weighing in today

I am actually taking 2 weeks off SW but will be trying WW in that time. Its a kickstart version which I will follow for 2 weeks. I just need to plan my meals and fingers crossed, the results will be clear.

lurcherlass · 04/02/2008 20:28

Most of us don't like the idea of "losing" anything, loss usually brings nagative feelings, so why not think of it as "Gaining a slim figure" instead...

sugarlumps · 04/02/2008 20:40

whats the fast foward plan please????

andyrobo237 · 04/02/2008 21:04

sugarlumps - the fast orward plan is a slimming world 'tool' - it is a strict plan of meals and snacks that add upto units - you are allowed so many per day - basically it is like WW in that you can have 21 units a day - 5 units is a jacket potato and tuna (measured amounts), a crumpet is two units, etc - so you build up your eating day around that. It is not like the usual plans and the idea is that you follow it for a week and 'kickstart' your weight loss, then go back on the normal plan and appreciate how much you can eat within the rules!

The Consultant gives you the booklet and then you have to give it back - I photocopied it!!! It can also be found on this website -

fastforward

It is worth a go for anyone struggling - I did it the week leading up to Christmas for 5 days and lost 3lbs (and kept them off!!)

sugarlumps · 05/02/2008 08:07

that looks far too complicated to get my head around at this time in the morning!
i may just try cutting back how much i eat, beacause when it says free - i admit i take it to the extreme and sometimes eat 3 times what i would normally lol.
so i will strict portion size until thurs (gulp! weigh day) and see how i go with that.

katylou25 · 05/02/2008 09:02

Well yesterday was even better than planned- i fell asleep on the sofa so forgot to eat my curly wurly!

Am going to try and be good again today - although have been up since 4.30am - Dh gone to Brussels, with taxi coming at 5 and he woke up ds's who decided that actually they didn't want to get into bed and go back to sleep with mummy they wanted to jump on her and drive cars over her until she gave up and got up!! So my willpower may begin to sag later.

Plan is though...
Breakfast - banana and yog
Lunch - pasta and sauce, jelly and fruit
tea - omelette and 300g oven chips (3 syns)

snacks - hebs - toast and cereal bars, and chocolate for syns!

SWlurker · 05/02/2008 10:39

urgh fast forward looks horrible!!!

When oh when will I learn that when my body isn't hungry, don't eat? I had a banana and yog before going to squash last night, came home and racked up 6 syns in LF cheese and light mayo with fritata to add to my already huge 12 (mozarella mistake)and I was forcing it down cos was full - for goodness sake woman, stop eating!!!

On the other hand I ate the other half of the frittata this morning for brekkie freeing up my usual HE's cereal and milk for something else later on! - oh, but stipped at petrol station on way in and bought choc bar without thinking about it

Can't believe myself, I've had 2 weeks of very good exercise yes weds weigh in is going to be so embarassing, because I have been racking up 20+ syns per day. hmm, haven't dared weigh myself but I wonder if by some small chance if 20 calories = 1 syn, if I burnt 200 calories a day (realistically I could have done) if that would cancel out 10 of my 20 syns a day? It would on weight watchers [hopeful smiley] but probably not. Argh somebody slap me back into focus!!

SWlurker · 05/02/2008 10:41
