Hi,

Here's the new thread for tomorrow. I haven't weighed today, but will yesterday's weight starting out at 9st1.75. Aiming to get under 9st again by the end of Feb.

Enjoy the shopping!! Well deserved! I am 9st2 and would just like to get to 9 or even maintain. Watching my daily selfcare and want to add some time for daily meditation also. Have free fitbit premium trial at moment that I haven't been using. Water water water!!

NutellaEllaElla · 31/01/2022 07:42

Thanks for the thread, I'll mark my place but don't have high expectations because of a holiday at the beginning and end of the month. Just 1 week so I'm going to try to not let the holiday attitude bleed outside of that week.

LBB2020 · 31/01/2022 08:27

Morning, thank you for the new thread @Octopus37. I fell off the thread/wagon for the past week Blush
Going to really make a big effort during February, more water, more exercise and less snacks!

swallowedAfly · 31/01/2022 09:01

Thanks Octopus.

It's not as bad as it feels. On Jan 1st I was 12:1.5 and on the 31st I'm 12:0.4 so I've basically maintained/lost a fraction. It's frustrating because I was less before Christmas and in mid January Confused However according to my scales app I've gained nearly a pound of muscle mass since mid January so ??? Whatever.

Anyway hopefully back on track and will soon be securely back under 12 stone and making proper progress again.

I could really do with some significant weight loss this month - 4lbs is recently regained weight so I'm trying to be hopeful that will come off easily.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 31/01/2022 09:55

Hello, thanks for the new thread! Weighing in at 10/9 today, so still 2lb up from Friday - I can’t seriously have gained 2lb of fat in two days, can I? At least 1lb down from yesterday!

NutellaEllaElla · 31/01/2022 12:26

No you won't. It could be your cycle, water retention, time of day and bathroom related.

That's a good loss over the month. Slowly does it! Thanks for the cycle reminder nutella, mine's on the way!

MadeinSW3 · 31/01/2022 17:25

Would like to get 2kg off in Feb by exercising more and counting calories but still having some meals out and treats.

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 31/01/2022 18:25

PS exercising has been since Covid, was out playing after Day 7, no problem.

QueenMabby · 31/01/2022 19:17

Hi - checking in to this thread. Thanks @Octopus37.
I won't weigh in until Wednesday but will have that as my end of Jan/start of Feb weight.
I've had a pretty good week but am heading to that time of the month so not holding my breath for a great result...

NutellaEllaElla · 31/01/2022 19:24

Can I just recommend Alpro soya chocolate milk? It's really good for giving a chocolatey hit and is low cal, just what I needed after craving chocolate milk.

QueenMabby · 01/02/2022 07:40

Couldn't resist the call of the first of the month so weighed in a day early.

9st 11.6lb. Whilst this a big improvement from the 9st 13.4lb I was last week, it's virtually no change from the 9st 11.8lb I was at the start of the month! 🙄

More Effort Needed! Probably need to look at my portion sizes. My goal for that is to increase the amount of vegetables on my plate so the rest decreases naturally. Aim for the end of Feb is under 9st 10lb. Tiny drop but we have a weekend away and dh's birthday this month so lots of meals out.

Here's to onwards and downwards for all!

Octopus37 · 01/02/2022 07:52

@QueenMabby two pounds is great, I see that as a really good loss for a month, especially January.

9st1.75 today, my Dad has gone back home now so everything should be a bit less stressful.

A very normal food day ahead here, not trying to cut as such, apart from evening snacking. Let's see how it goes.
2 weetabix, cappuccino
Toasted cheese, small yoghurt and apple
Something with chicken - curry/casserole.
Water water water and I have an hour's exercise later. Have a good day all.

Darbs76 · 01/02/2022 09:05

Hi all, happy February. I lost 4.8lbs in Jan, happy with that. Aiming for 3lbs for Feb, got a few meals out planned so don’t want to aim too high. Re-doing couch to 5k so by end of Feb I should be on week 7 and a runner again! Happy days

No weigh for me today because I had an early training. Well done all you losers!

swallowedAfly · 01/02/2022 12:31

No weigh in today. Have had my lovely hairdresser here this morning so at least my hair is in good shape.

She is the same height and we were discussing how I was aiming for 10st7 at which point I’d be a big size 12 to which she said she’s an 8-10 at that weight 🤷‍♀️ She couldn’t believe I’m a 16 now. So bizarre. I have bigger boobs and tummy and she has a bigger bum and thighs we decided which must be what accounts for it.

Maybe it’s also to do with people being comfortable with different levels of clinging. Mention it because we had a similar conversation on here recently about how different people’s sizes are even at same weight.

CharlieBubbles88 · 01/02/2022 14:44

Bit late to the party! Weighed in on Saturday at 125lb/56.7kg. So 6lb in the 3 weeks since I got back on it after Christmas/Birthday indulgence

I only weigh in once a week, typically after I’ve woken up and been for a wee, naked Wink before eating or drinking anything. I tend to be healthier in the week and have more elaborate/indulgent meals at the weekend when I have more time and can actually enjoy preparing and eating more

Definitely trying to do more self care day to day even if it is morning yoga, water consumption, skin care. Nothing massive but it’s a bit of me time

swallowedAfly I think it also depends on where you shop. I am a 6 in some places, a 12 in others, it drives me insane!

Not weighed today so will wait until Friday now. A reasonably good day today although had a slice of cheesecake for dessert tonight! Was hoping to rope DH into doing an exercise video with me but he’s having to work late and DS2 is taking forever to settle for bed so might wait until tomorrow night to exercise. Well done on the January loses!

Minesababycham · 01/02/2022 20:42

Hello, can I join too? I always used to have a really stable weight without too much difficulty. But with pandemic and menopause I’ve put on a good stone and moved from 8-10 to a 12 (5ft 4”). Currently 10st and would like to be 9st. I’m using MFP to log calories and doing 2-4 cardio or weight sessions a week. Feels very hard to get started though….😒

NutellaEllaElla · 01/02/2022 20:53

Welcome @Minesababycham and very well done @CharlieBubbles88

MadeinSW3 · 01/02/2022 23:28

A bit over today at 2300 cals oops, too many biscuits.

Dinner out tomorrow too but will go to the gym first. No plans over the weekend so will try to mitigate then.
