I have changed from keto now and now sticking with 1200 calories and doing sort your fit out with Richie swan. So daily workouts for 8 weeks. Need to shift the last stone and get fit. Only day 3 and it’s keeping me focussed and more importantly tracking all foods has led to no booze as would tip me over

Wow your steps are impressive!

I avoided cheesecake and made homemade chips in the air fryer instead, I really don't understand how SW works but had a sneak peak on the scales and it's down from Monday so I'll take it.

@GetTheStartyParted i hope you get sone help, I am just out of a 3yr long battle with awful periods. I dont have endo, or fibroids, but bled for 7 weeks at one stage. Very heavy too. Its utterly miserable, I really feel for you. I also ended up with no iron stores at all and anaemia. Which honestly just made me want to eat.

Something seems to have clicked for me . I'm using shakes fir breakfast and lunch then a pretty normal evening meal. I dud step on the scales this morning, abd was thrilled!

Hi all. I ate a bit too much yesterday but did a Pilates class so don't feel too bad and I'm fully back on track today.

The gym timetable changes next week with the change in restrictions and the classes that coincide with the kids classes are different so I'm going to have to do some spinning classes. At least it'll burn some decent calories!

This week is going well-ish for me. When I joined this thread I had thought I might log stuff on MFP but haven't yet. For some bizarre reason, I'm finding it much easier to be moderate this week than for the past months. Rather than questioning it, I'm just going to enjoy it and prepare for the fact that next week I might well go back to wanting to eat endless bags of crisps!!!

Hope you're finding the switch from keto OK @mynameisbrian ? It's been positive for me so far, easier to cheat though Blush I have 1400 calories as don't want to get too hungry and give up.

@ImFree2doasiwant thank you, luckily being on the pill has stopped it from being heavy but somehow made it longer Hmm Pleased your diet has clicked, it makes all the difference. Well done.

@NerrSnerr sounds good. Do you enjoy pilates? I've been thinking of giving it a go. Spin class sounds intense! Grin

That's great @HolaVida - that's definitely half the battle!

I've done 10,000 steps again at work, going to have a bath and put my pjs on. Spending the afternoon studying so might as well be comfortable. I'm shattered!

I started keto at the end of March

SW- 13stone 9
CW- 12’stone 8
TW- 11stone 7

I found with keto that it was a balance, found it quite restrictive and didn’t like feeling rough if i had a tiny bit too much carbs. Also weight loss stalled despite maintains low calories and clean keto. So now focussing on sticking to higher protein still keeping carbs low and exercise to tone up whilst I shift the rest. Feel better all round and lost 2lb this week so happy days.

Total lost for May so far: 3.5lbs

Really chuffed to have lost again, but this is am anniversary weekend, and so have had a (planned) curry takeaway tonight plus sides and cake!!

It feels like I've gained 5lb back on just today, but am pretty sure I won't have done...

Happy Saturday! I was over the moon this morning to see 14.2 on the scales! So that's 6lb already for May and it means I've now lost 11 stone since I started in December 2019!

Off to put on a pretty floaty size 14 dress and feel smug all day 😂

Hope you don’t mind if I join - I know it’s half way through the month but I’m hoping accountability will help me take action. At this stage of the month I’d be happy with a 4lb loss. I’m planning to not drink alcohol until the end of the month too.

I'm 3 weeks into a takeaway-free month. I am out for dinner one night next week though, and going to the cinema twice. I cannot wait. I haven't eaten out since places reopened as I eat too slowly for the food to stay warm and I hate being cold Grin

Hi all. I had a relaxed day but I'm back on it today. Eating lower carb breakfast and lunch and will make something for tea (maybe spicy vegetable rice). Will save some calories for a few G&Ts. I will also go swimming later. I am 2lbs away from being overweight again and not obese so hoping to do that early next week.

Amazing @cricketmum84! An 11 stone loss is a huge achievement. Do you feel like a different person?

Well I’ve just re-downloaded my fitness pal so going to try calorie counting. I’m also started going to strength classes at the gym so want to combine that with some YouTube workouts.

Also I’m so bloated so hoping that I can shift a pound just by cutting sugar and drinking more water.

@NerrSnerr sounds good. I had spicy chicken and vegetable rice for dinner a couple of nights ago, mushrooms, peppers, red onion and loads of spices. It was delicious. Good luck with reaching your next target.

@CluelessnotShoeless good luck, I'm currently calorie counting after a year or so of keto. I'm really enjoying it.

Morning all. Hope you're all having a good Sunday. @GetTheStartyParted the spicy rice was really good and I have a portion left over for lunch today.

I have a Pilates class this morning and after lunch I will go swimming with the children. I managed to stay under my calories yesterday even with a few drinks so really pleased with that. I am going to do some batch cooking today for the next few days as Mondays and Tuesdays are very busy. Try to get some healthy meals made.

Thanks @NerrSnerr yes I totally do! I still keep ordering clothes too big and being surprised by that! I keep having to send things back 😂

Had a naughty cheeseburger last night but I used big portobello mushrooms in place of the bread so not too bad. I really enjoyed it though.

I've got some steak in the slow cooker for an easy dinner today. Planning some celeriac mash and lots of kale and spinach with it.

I miss swimming so much so I will be jealous of you today! I'm secretly hoping for some hydrotherapy when I eventually get my physio appointments through!

Morning all!
Weighed this morning and have gained TWO POUNDS since Friday. Not totally surprised- had a couple of celebratory meals and guests and also wasn’t feeling 100% so ate to try get energy.

Want to get back on it as of today. The thing I noticed was how different a meal felt if I’d been snacking in the run up to it. There is something lovely about being really hungry and then eating something -

Feel a bit discouraged and cross with myself- but today is a new day

I lost half a pound since Friday Grin It all adds up eventually I guess.

About to do my run, then off to the docs. Spending my afternoon writing so need to get something active done this morning.

I've had a reasonable few days. Some harder than others, some of my evening meals have been over calories, but generally ok. I've got a stinking cold, which I'm trying not to feed.

I'm finding it really easy to feel disheartened which is ridiculous as I've lost 6 of the 7lb goal for May, with 13 days left to go! Can't wait to get under 13st though.

You've done so well. I think sometimes it just feels harder than others, and having a cold won't help. Keep going and you will soon be under 13st.

I took my wedding ring to the jewellers yesterday, it needs resizing as it falls off. I weigh about half a stone more than when I got married (almost 14yrs ago) but somehow I need it reduced by 3 sizes! Happy with that NSV.

Have to admit I'm eating a lot of junk at the moment, convenience food, but still counting calories. I cannot wait to finish these assignments and my second year of uni. Thankfully I have next week off work so I can hopefully get them all but done.

Time for a cuppa here.

I have been really struggling with weight gain in lockdown. Before lockdown I was 11 st 12 so heading towards my goal weight. I believe for me exercise is key. Now I am finally back at dance class I might actually lose something!
