Around 4 stone to lose, buddies?

I have around 4 stone to lose to finally get bk to my happy place, will be taking my weight tonight hopefully if boots scales are working, I don't like to put that I'm on a diet as I never stuck to it 🙄going to be working out once a day and eating smaller meals anyone want to join I have no friends in RL and partner is very fit and healthy so am completely alone in this xx

I've hit my step quota and eaten healthy for the past couple of days.
Plan on adding maybe beginners yoga and steps next week.'I'm not really sure.
I'm winging this 😀

@mumofone2019 I'm defo going to look into keto meals more!, from some of the posts I see a lot of people just eat eggs and bacon Alot :/ like I don't think I could eat eggs EVERYSINGLEDAY

@lucy2204 yep I live by the sea, it’s lovely but the seagulls are LOUD at sunrise so no lie ins in summer. The other day I saw one with its head down the opposite neighbours chimney squawking full volume 😂

@queenofthelamas best of luck with your wedding, I got married in a registry office last Sept with just parents as witnesses, it was lovely but not the original plan so I sympathise with the uncertainty. If you find a good seamstress hold on to them! My poor DM had to take in my dress by about 4 sizes in the end

@BeastOfBODMAS does it make you as hungry living by the sea, I know it sounds stupid but I swear the sea air makes you hungrier 😑could just be that I'm a piglet 🐷😂

Hi everyone can I join? I started healthy eating on 1st Jan and have 3st 8 to lose.

Starting weight - 13st 8
Current weight - 13st 6.6
Goal weight - 10st

Unfortunately I can’t do any exercise as I’m recovering from spinal surgery. I can walk a little bit so I’m trying to build up my strength at the moment.

I’m really determined to lose the weight this time. I’ve been overweight since having my eldest who is now 3.5 and it’s really hit home recently how I’m setting myself up for health problems if I carry on like this. I was 10 stone when I got married in 2016 so I really want to get back down to that as I felt healthy and strong at that weight.

I am in! The last year has not been kind to my waistline (or backside). DH just had a new scales delivered and now the initial stress of Monday’s announcement has passed I need to get on top of my diet and exercise. At some point I’m going to have to see colleagues in person again Grin Lots of exercise equipment being delivered tomorrow and I signed up for Noom again to see if that can give me a boost. Will need all the help and encouragement going!

I'm in too please! I found out (via Facebook) that a friend lost 3 stone last year and looks amazing. I am still at home with the DC, eating the remains of the Christmas food and attempting to home school whilst sobbing into my gin

I've ordered a diet planner so once that arrives I will have no excuse to put it off! Starting weight 14st, aiming for 10st 7lb...

Ok....I have a fitbit. I have trainers. I have hand weights. I have a yoga mat. I have a walking dvd. I have the 30 day shred dvd. What else....oh yes, I have 84lbs to lose. So all I need tonight is a decent sleep so I can get up early in the morning and make use of all the lovely things I have.

@mumofone2019 its weird isn't it, even tho I love scrambled eggs, I couldn't eat that every single day 🤮I think I've been convinced to try keto 🙈🙈how did u get on today

I wanted to lose 4 stone. I started 3 weeks ago and I've lost half a stone. I did join the gym, but I can't go now because it's obviously closed. I have reduced my calories to 1200 a day and cut my salt and sugar right down. Anyone any exercise ideas which don't involve me jogging in the freezing cold?

Went for a 20 minute walk this morning, starting slowly after weigh-in on the new scales. Stupidly wore new boots so had to hobble the last ten minutes while they shredded my feet. Trainers tomorrow 🙄

Anyone got exercise in yet? I just did some squats whilst waiting for the kettle to boil which I will try to make a habit.

I think the recipe sharing is a great idea, I have been vegan for yonks so if anyone is doing veganuary you are welcome to pick my brains (they are mostly tofu by now)

@Werdrix sorry you had a bad food day, just brush yourself off and start again, no point in dwelling on it now it's done, plus everyone deserves a cheat day 😉

@BeastOfBODMAS squats are the worst there part of my workout to 😴I haven't worked out yet I'm super tired today, trying to resist junk food😂

I did 20 min yoga this morning. Was dripping with sweat so must have achieved something.

I won't lie my diet is appalling in terms of nutrition but if I use my calories on things I don't like I lose interest

Lunch was 2 slice danish bread with 2 medium egg (scrambled)

2 x packet crisps

Dinner is pork meatballs with linguine (premade meal from Co Op) I find these types of meals easy when dieting as you don't have to faff around with weighing.

That's all I eat through the day, don't bother with breakfast I have black coffee instead

Like I say appalling but I do lose the weight!

Was 12,3.6 this morning which is about a lb down from yesterday so quite pleased!!!

@truetuesdays it's great that you lose weight maybe it's coz your moving enough to burn the calories? I have had a coffee this morning with dippy eggs on toast and didn't have lunch and will be having pizza tonight made with the wrap you use for chicken wraps 😍if you guys haven't tried them I defo recommend just get the wrap and add everything you'd put on a normal pizza and oven it, you won't be disappointed trust me 😍

I have around 4/5 stone to loose! Would've been 3 if it wasn't for binge eating and drinking through the last lockdown! :(

Hope you're all doing ok, and will be thankful for all the support here!

I have tried everything... and i mean everything! But FAD diets are now long gone for me, they always end in more weight gain!! I've just spent the past 6 years shifting my mindset and trying to do my own research. (I am aware of how preachy that sounds, but I'm not like that at all!!)
I'm now focusing on just eating healthier food, smaller portions, and cutting right back on booze!! (Currently attempting dry Jan)

@delilah221 welcome hun!, I done a lot of fad diets to and tbh I think once your off them you ended up gaining the weight back and more 🙄we're defo going to try and get everyone to the weight they wna be, I'm also not following any diet in particular I'm just slowly cutting stuff out, goodluck and hope your well :) xx
