Around 4 stone to lose, buddies?

I have around 4 stone to lose to finally get bk to my happy place, will be taking my weight tonight hopefully if boots scales are working, I don't like to put that I'm on a diet as I never stuck to it 🙄going to be working out once a day and eating smaller meals anyone want to join I have no friends in RL and partner is very fit and healthy so am completely alone in this xx

I have lost 1 stone and 1lb up to now, which I am over the moon about! It was my birthday on Friday so had fish and chips with a slice of cake. But managed to leave it at that and cracked on yesterday (this doesn’t normally happen, I fall off the wagon and continue binge eating!

Morning all

Room for a not so wee one ? I have a similar amount to lose , I started last Tuesday and so far so good.

My plan at the moment is to not eat before 12 , I find if I have breakfast it actually makes me eat more.
Snacking is my downfall so I am really having to get a handle on that. Evening meals are normally pretty healthy and I tend to cook from scratch so that is not so much of a worry.

I think I am going to find it trickier tomorrow once I am back in work but I really need to do something about this weight.

I keep imagining being told to shield and having to explain to school I can't come into the building because I am too fat! Is that just me?

I don’t eat until 12.30 and stop at 7/8pm, I am a horrendous 9pm snacker (think full pack of biscuits etc) and I also have terrible acid reflux. This has stopped the reflux which is a bonus!

For work I only take the food for the day (no boxes of snack bars to keep in your drawer etc or I will eat them all!) I also do not go out for lunch as our local shop sells incredible cream cakes!

When is the first weigh in?

@Glitterb thanks for the welcome. How long have you been eating this way?
First weigh in is Tuesday.

I will definitely only take what I intend to eat , it is other people's snacks that I will have to avoid. Also we have break at 10.50 and lunch at 12.50 so I am thinking fruit at break and then soup at lunch. It is earlier than I have been used to but not having anything until 12.50 and sitting with everyone while they snack is setting myself up to fail I think.

Early days and I have a very long way to go but I am feeling good so far.

@Needmorehope I started on the 4th Jan this year, I have tried slimming world numerous times before with success however I end up binging and getting bored and piling the weight back on quickly. I want to be in position where I can have treats but not go mad! I feel like I have constantly worried about my weight for most of my life and want to change things.

Hello everyone sorry I've been so quiet I have a lot of family things going on, I haven't weighed myself in a while but my clothes are getting loose which is great il try weigh myself today or tomorrow I hope everyone's okay xx
