I’m 3lb down this week and managed to do a workout this morning so feeling positive (and hungry! 😂)

fingersdoublecrossed · 08/01/2021 09:38

I'm down 5lbs but that was easy on, easy off Christmas weight.
I only want to lose 5-7 more, so it will be slow losses for me from now on.
Well done, everyone! Xxx

eattolose · 08/01/2021 11:31

6.6 lbs down since the 2nd!

Well done everyone

10kaDay · 08/01/2021 12:59

2 pounds down this week, and around 6 pounds down since Xmas... would love to make it half a stone off by the weekend which is my motivation to be good 😉

torthecatlady · 08/01/2021 14:34

Well done everyone! Smile

poorpaws · 08/01/2021 15:39

Well done everyone, a great start 😀 hope we can all keep up the good work.

10kaDay · 08/01/2021 15:51

Today's food:
bf: banana & a walnuts (in a rush for a meeting)
lunch: veggie omelette (2 eggs, veg, 1 tbsp grated cheese - this is a great lunch, really filling & super fast to make)
dinner: veggie mozzarella patty (linda mccartney), roast sweet potato/pepper/onion (making a chicken traybake for others), + broccoli

snacks - pineapple, an orange

Managed higher protein than usual today, so will definitely be having more omelettes - would add eg a yogurt or something to breakfast & have this again

Elmashbu · 08/01/2021 17:22

Well done everyone.

I've weighed in today at have lost 3lbs but does include totm bloating as weighed in day before it arrived.

Have to say tho I am struggling today. Made a stir fry and it was bland. Need to be more organised with lunches and teas.

micc · 08/01/2021 18:25

Wow everyone is doing so well!
Can anyone recommend any online (free) workout videos they like?
Preferably low impact because I need to build my strength up, I've still got a bit of a dodgy back! I'm already foing the 30 day yoga challenge but I want some workouts to do on the days I dont run

10kaDay · 08/01/2021 18:45

@micc - I like popsugar fitness video as they have a timer to count down the minutes 😂

Here’s a v moderate cardio workout

And a pacier one

WeirdWomble · 08/01/2021 21:19

weighed this morning and I'm down to 12.06 stone

I normally work in lbs so that's 168.8 lbs.

Pleased it is a loss. Had a bit of a walk to bring my pony in today and I've been good on food. I'm going to take it easy this evening and try out a yoga for pelvic floor session

Bubnomore · 08/01/2021 22:47

Good news is I have lost 3 pounds!, and have had another good day. Long walk, had takeaway for dinner albeit gave all the usual sides a miss and had big salad and hummus with it and it was delicious.

Long may the good’ish streak continue! Grin

Bubnomore · 08/01/2021 22:48

Well done all.

torthecatlady · 08/01/2021 22:59

Lunch: stir-fried vegetables with rice

Dinner: small jacket potato with cheese and salad (which got inhaled as I hadn't realised I was so hungry) plus an egg sandwich for good measure.

MrsCalypsoGrant · 08/01/2021 23:06

Well done everyone 👏🏻

My weekly loss totals 4 & 1/4lb but I've plateaued already which is irritating, it happens every time I lose weight at this stage! I'm being so careful with what I eat too, perhaps too careful. Sometimes when I increase my calories it kickstarts my metabolism. That's my excuse & I'm sticking to it 😆

Loobieloo27 · 09/01/2021 10:24

My loss has been 3lb since Monday, not too shabby. My weakness is full sugar energy drinks, I've drank them for years so I dint know how to stop, silly I know! Any tips?
Also I work long shifts and nights so struggle on these days, any good food choices I could take?
Thanks Flowers

eattolose · 09/01/2021 10:35

Can't wait for my lunch. I'm doing 16:8 as well as counting calories. I don't eat from 8pm to 12 midday the next day. Actually quite easy! And allows for bigger meals.

Going to have tuna again for lunch I think. So filling and low cals!

torthecatlady · 09/01/2021 17:55

Down 8lbs this week. Smile

micc · 09/01/2021 18:12

Ah my OH wants a Chinese!!
Do I already have a cheat meal? I've had a few small chocolates here and there, but I've been quite good eating wise. I still dont think I can justify it Haha I'll have bloody fish and veg on my own 🤦‍♀️

Litthefirealready · 09/01/2021 22:50

Had a bad day today which resulted in bad food! Annoyed at myself but try again tomorrow. Hope I feel a bit more cheerful - it’s alarming how directly linked my food consumption and my mood are!

fingersdoublecrossed · 10/01/2021 12:14

I've tested positive for COVID.
Lost my sense of taste but have fallen off the wagon trying to comfort myself.
Have put on and almost back to where I started.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Loobieloo27 · 10/01/2021 13:01

Well done to all, everyone's just doing the best they can in the circumstances. My eating has been a bit all over due to nightshift so hopefully back on track from today!
fingersdoublecrossed sorry to hear that, I had COVID in November and the loss of taste was so odd, just eat what you can to get through, Flowers

TiredMummyZZZ · 10/01/2021 15:55

Sorry to see you have covid @fingersdoublecrossed I hope you feel better really quickly.

I’ve felt exhausted all day today and have just had an oat milk hot chocolate and fudge cupcake after going on a quick walk but I’m under calories for the day so don’t feel guilty about it.

I feel really lethargic so I’m going to have to force myself to exercise. I always feel so much better when I have so I’m trying to keep that in mind.

torthecatlady · 10/01/2021 18:07

@fingersdoublecrossed sorry to hear that! Hopefully you feel better soon.

poorpaws · 10/01/2021 19:46

fingersdoublecrossed I’m so sorry to hear that. Take good care of yourself and i hope you feel much better very soon.

I had a rotten day yesterday and it resulted in binge eating last night on chocolate. It’s so early on in the diet to start doing that. Usually that would kill the diet for at least a week or even a month but I’m back on the straight and narrow today (though I’m really hungry). I’m not expecting a loss at the end of the week now but staying the same would be acceptable rather than a weight gain 😀
