Everyone seems to be doing really well which is great considering lockdown and homeschooling!

It has been a trying day today but I’ve managed to keep on track, made a fritatta for dinner which I had a slice of with salad - the rest of the family had pie and mash. So envious!

Had a run today too but got the kids to walk the dog because I needed them to go out!

Loobieloo27 · 06/01/2021 20:55

Another good day ;
B- Porridge and banana
L- chicken drumsticks and salad
D- Cottage pie and tons of veg
S- low fat yogurt, 4 matchsticks and 1 bite of hubby's pizza Grin

This thread is definately helping to keep me on track!

micc · 06/01/2021 20:58

I made pizza with my DD this evening 🤦‍♀️ so today could of been better. But because I ate so early I might try and have a workout soon.. I was thinking of trying Joe Wicks workout on YouTube for beginners... I used to he so fit and work out all the time but I dont want to push myself too hard to early.. I'm finding it hard to balance everything since the schools shut.. homeschooling.. cleaning.. breastfeeding.. working out and cooking healthy meals. Its all such a balancing act! My flat looks like a bomb has hit it.. at least no one is allowed in to see haha

BliainNua · 06/01/2021 22:18

You're all doing so well!
I did a short walk at lunch time and then a long one this evening - total 7.5km today, so I'm happy with that!
Had Christmas pudding & custard after dinner though Blush

torthecatlady · 06/01/2021 22:34

Lunch: grapes and a cheese string (busy in work and wasn't really hungry)

Dinner: egg mayo sandwich with cucumber and cress. Served with salad on the side.

Snacks: 2 x bags of quavers, loads of peppermint tea.

Pretty pleased with today's efforts. Smile

WeirdWomble · 07/01/2021 01:33

Today was a good day for me. I didn't snack on unhealthy foods throughout the day or binge in the evening. Had a seafood cocktail sandwich for lunch which isn't the healthiest but I had 1 sandwich when normally I would have 2 and I didn't pile in the seafood cocktail like I normally would. Also managed to get a workout in.

I've done 2 days of virtual gastric band hypnotherapy and so far so good. Even if it's not impacting my subconscious it is at least keeping me consciously focused.

Doesn't sound like enough calories!
winterlites · 07/01/2021 08:23

So annoyed! I forgot to weigh in and have already had a cup of tea!

Will have to remember tomorrow morning

winterlites · 07/01/2021 13:08

Delicious lunch today. More delicious than expected actually.

Half a packet of Tilda Peri Peri microwave rice, a whole pot of olive oil tuna, Hellman's light Mayo - mix all together.
Side of celery sticks and loads of cherry tomatoes.
Loads of salt and pepper on everything!

415 cals!

Hope everyone had a good day!
I was absolutely freezing this morning and couldn’t bare the thought of getting up and exercising so I had a Linda sausage bagel for breakfast with an orange juice. For lunch I had the bran flakes and raisins that I should have had for breakfast and then a salad because I was still starving! I’m having a vegetable omelette for tea, I’ve done a 20 minute yoga video and 15 minute hiit and I really fancy chippy chips but I’m hoping the omelette does the trick instead. I’ve promised myself if I exercise every day this week I can have a pudding on Saturday and I’m really, really looking forward to it 🐷

Dinner tonight, I cannot wait!

Hi everyone, hope it’s going well for all of you.

I just managed the 10,000 steps today, only just! I’ve been busy all day but I honestly don’t know what I’ve done. I hate days like this when I feel worn out but have nothing to show for my efforts. The food went well again.

Still feeling positive, I hope everyone else is too.

fingersdoublecrossed · 07/01/2021 21:19

Hi everyone!
I was back in work today as opposed from working from home and it totally lifted my spirits.
When I got home, I roasted carrots, new potatoes and red onion. Half way through the cooking time, I added yellow pepper, baby plum tomatoes, olives, pesto and balsamic vinegar.
I laid two salmon fillets on top and continued to roast. It also needed salt, pepper and lemon juice.
It was awesome!

torthecatlady · 07/01/2021 21:54

@winterlites You're right it's not Sad I'm half-arsing the fast800 diet. So aiming for 800, but doing about 1000 a day (but not being too hard on myself).

I'm the heaviest I've ever been (starting weight of 17,4) and need to get my weight back down considerably for fertility treatment and a gallbladder removal.

10kaDay · 07/01/2021 22:08

Hello @torthecatlady- that’s great motivation! Wishing you the best 😊

Good day here - stuck to plan, also weighed a few things and horrified at how little granola & cheese has so many calories (not really a surprise though!)

Breakfast- 200g Greek yogurt, small banana, 30g granola, couple of walnuts and flax, few blueberries
Lunch - veggie bolognese and roast peppers in a wrap with 20g cheddar
Dinner - homemade squash & blackbean patty, green veg

Each of these meals 400-500 cals
Snacks - massive orange with lunch, cup of pineapple after dinner

35 min cardio this morning (not too crazy), & a 45 min walk...day totally on plan so happy with that

Going to get an early night as Fitbit KNOWS that I’m sitting up scrolling on iPad instead of sleeping 😂

WeirdWomble · 07/01/2021 22:37

It's been a hungry kind of day today but I've kept snacks to a minimum. Onwards and upwards for tomorrow

Welshgal85 · 07/01/2021 22:50

Been feeling pretty hungry today, had brekkie, lunch and tea but healthy options. Haven’t done any exercise this week really, going to force myself to do something tomorrow!

torthecatlady · 07/01/2021 23:33

Thank you @10kaDay I was doing well this time last year with my diet and then lockdown 1.0 happened and everything went downhill (except the scales which went up a lot) Blush

Lunch: egg sandwich, salad and sprinkle of grated cheese.

Dinner: potato & leak soup, a roll and some pineapple. Single Twix finger (Dh helped by eating the second one, although he is also on a diet!)

2x peppermint tea, 1x skinny flat white and 2 litres of water daily which I'd forgotten to mention previously.

Got some exercise done today too. A pretty good day.

torthecatlady · 07/01/2021 23:40

Leek* Hmm

fingersdoublecrossed · 08/01/2021 08:29

I'm about to hop on the scales! Friday Weigh!
Good luck, everyone! 🤞

steph2412 · 08/01/2021 08:31

Morning all just finished my nights shift and weighed in I'm 15st 6lbs this morning so 9lbs loss this week, I know it's mainly water weight but it's a good boost! Will need to stay motivated over the next two nights as the scales are never that kind when I'm on nights but then even out when I'm back to normal habits! Hope everyone else is pleased with their results today X

fingersdoublecrossed · 08/01/2021 08:36

@steph2412 wow! That's amazing! Well done!

poorpaws · 08/01/2021 08:42

Early weigh-in done and I’ve lost 5.5 lbs. As steph said I know it’s water but I still feel it’s a good result so I’m delighted.

Looking forward to reading your losses later today 😀

poorpaws · 08/01/2021 08:44

Ohh I posted too soon, meant to say that’s an amazing start steph, well done.

BliainNua · 08/01/2021 08:46

Fantastic steph well done!!
I'm down 1.2lbs, so not great but to be honest I haven't been making the best choices with food - although without being conscious of it I'd have been a LOT worse!
Have been getting out walking everyday, even if it's only small amounts.
Walking: 22.19km done
Weight:-1.2lbs; 16st 11.2 - still shocking!!
You guys are such great inspiration - thank you all Flowers

Aim for next week is 2lbs down (better food choices, no Christmas pudding Grin) and 22km walking.
