I sabotaged my desire to weigh by necking a pint of squash after my early morning walk. And I got nearly 8,500 steps so a good start to the day.
Excellent start to the day em, glad you volunteered for wreck, my diary while accurate, is highly embarrassing. The group I used to do would ask to see your food diary if you asked for help. I never asked for helpBlush

You can friend me on mfp if you want wreck. Here's how not to do it Grin

ememem84 · 10/06/2020 13:13

Am also happy to be mfp friends.

WreckTangled · 10/06/2020 13:14

Thanks em I'll PM you once I'm home! I must point out I only have to give suggestions in my assignments and not back to you, these suggestions are ones that have to adhere to the healthy eating guidelines which I think are a load of crap and ergo would not recommend irl.

Saw this on fb and it's me every weekend Grin

ememem84 · 10/06/2020 13:26

Noted!!! And by making the suggestions there’s obviously no way of controlling whether someone adheres to them.

Oh that’s meeeee!!!!

Fish finger sandwich on home made sourdough for lunch.

lifelongfrugaleer · 10/06/2020 17:53

85 over as very hungry today. Depressingly only on 6700 steps after a 45 min yoga and a 45 min areobics. Pretty much chained to the lap top today though.

Pft

WreckTangled · 10/06/2020 18:02

Within cals despite 700 of them being cake BlushGrin

I will pm you at some point em I have no enthusiasm right now.

Happierwithouthim · 10/06/2020 18:17

Hi all
I'm having takeaway this evening from my favourite restaurant I've 722 cals left it won't be enough!!

166.9 this morning average up 0.2lbs I'm not bothered I know I'm doing ok

Not2bObvious · 10/06/2020 19:04

Ooh, you’ll have to tell us what you get happier, I’m going to get takeaway on Friday if I save enough cals. I’ve around 400 left, will probably use half but it’ll have to be on real food. Used up my 20% crap, trying to stick to that for today at least.
I love a fish finger sambo/burger em, must put some on my shopping list 😋
Just over 15,000 done, tick!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 10/06/2020 19:45

Enjoy happier.
That's my kind of day wreck. Half my calories as cake.

I'm even further over today.

ememem84 · 10/06/2020 20:20

Fish finger sandwiches are the best thing ever. Fact.

Only on white bread though. Sometimes with cheese. Sometimes with a fried egg (try it) sometimes plain. Always with ketchup.

Thai beef noodle salad for dinner. So spicy!!

No worries wreck as and when!

WreckTangled · 10/06/2020 20:23

I don't like fish fingers. Too fishy. I had tuna at lunch and fish cakes for dinner but that's the only fish I eat.

Not2bObvious · 10/06/2020 21:50

Well I broke my 20% junk idea about 5 mins after I made it. But despite the biccies I’ve saved another 200. Totm due so I’ll need to be extra careful tomorrow that I don’t go loopy for chocolate

OP posts:
LaneBoy · 10/06/2020 21:52

Ooh no. I love white bread but for me, fish fingers are on granary type bread (must be really soft), ketchup on one slice, mayo on the other. Token lettuce and cucumber :o

We may have had our first McDonald’s in months this evening. I couldn’t eat it all 🤣

I haven’t had fishcakes in years, can some be cooked from frozen? I’d be the only one eating them.

ememem84 · 10/06/2020 22:37

I have smoked salmon with a oozy cheese filling fishcakes in the freezer. Annoyingly they need to be defrosted before cooking. Bastards.

I do love a fish cake on fancy salad leaves with a poached eggy on top.

WreckTangled · 11/06/2020 06:38

Lane we just had the birdeye ones, so yes frozen. I had them with steamed tender stem broccoli.

Not2bObvious · 11/06/2020 07:00

I had fishcakes too, thai ones from M&S, 😋
Scuppered another weigh in temptation with a guzzled water bottle.
Fair bit of work to be done today as did very little yesterday, so I’m looking forward to keeping busy & that should distract me from food. Not sure when I’ll get my steps though, weathers a bit crap here, windy/rainy. I miss the lovely sun

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 11/06/2020 07:12

Crap weather and lots of work here too.

Mmm fish finger sandwiches. Yy fish cakes can be frozen and cooked from frozen mostly.

Salt spike today as had halloumi yesterday and not enough water

ememem84 · 11/06/2020 09:12

Up early and did day one of a 30 day abs challenge. Found it on Pinterest.

Porridge with berries and a tea. Must drink more water today. Am grilling bacon for salad toppings. Must not eat bacon unless with salad.

Not2bObvious · 11/06/2020 11:12

Are you normally this on it with exercise em, or is it part of you working on shifting the kgs? Sounds like you have a history with bacon😉 Haven’t we all😂
I’m on 6,500 steps from jogging on the spot before work and doing the odd 10 mins between work tasks - in an office alone, can you imagine people’s faces if I jumped up & started jogging on the spot! Only an Aldi nut protein bar in so far & a couple of coffees, lunch around 12.30

OP posts:
ememem84 · 11/06/2020 11:28

not depends I’m usually in the gym twice a week maybe. But obviously can’t do that now. I felt I needed to do something a few weeks ago so started couch to 5k.

But doing something actuve every day has really helped my sleep. And my anxiety. So maybe there’s something in that...

And yes. A proper history with bacon. So delicious. We rarely have it now. Dh does the majority of the shopping and meal planning and likes to be healthy and keeps wanting to go full vegan. I’ve told him a compromise for me would be less meat. But nice stuff when we do eat it.

So we eat meat maybe twice a week usually.

I’ve just made a flapjack for later. Sultana and peanuts in it and some melted dark chocolate on top.

WreckTangled · 11/06/2020 11:36

I've just been to the shop and bought loads of crap. Including a brownie from a nearby bakery. I suck BlushGrin it's my birthday Monday though so today is the start of my birthday weekend...right?!

ememem84 · 11/06/2020 12:46

Absolutely!

Not2bObvious · 11/06/2020 13:00

Well if it’s nearly your birthday wreck😉
Totally agree about doing something active to help with sleep & anxiety, I can only walk or do a gentle jog but without doing that daily I suffer even worse from lack of sleep. Even with 12,000-15,000 steps a day it’s a challenge to get to sleep & stay asleep.
Back home now, lunch done and many hours til dinner. It’s just a bit cold & dull so I suppose I could go out for a walk? I’m getting so bored these days

Happierwithouthim · 11/06/2020 15:09

I got lasagne, chips & garlic ciabatta & salad, so salad got left behind and I added bits to it for today's lunch Grin I also ate a salted caramel magnum after coming home Grin
So I was 166.9 again this morning. I have to stop carb loading in the evening Angry

Never had fish fingers sandwiches I think it'd be too much soft food for me Hmm

Beef noodle salad sounds amazing, my butcher closed down that did amazing super spicy beef stirfry Sad

A flapjack, how do you make one? Or more importantly just eat one?

My steps aren't great this week either
