I'm going alcohol free for June, should help with weight loss too.

Bf not calling tonight so I'm getting an early night

I am seriously proud of it!

Told dc we'd make brioche buns tomorrow eve, need to find choc chips they had none in dunnes.

Not2bObvious · 06/06/2020 20:25

Just chop up a bit of chocolate maybe if you can’t find chips? Homemade brioche wow.
When I drink more than one I can’t resist crisps/chocolate. It really needs to be either or, wine or treats. See the wine as the treat.
Taken myself off to bed, kitchen is closed

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 06/06/2020 21:29

Yes, just chop up a normal chocolate bar

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 07/06/2020 07:30

I'm still laying in bed, dont want to get up and weigh this week! I went back to work on thurs so treated myself with chocolate buttons and icecream and a pizza ....

Yes definitely use broken up chocolate or chocolate buttons or make them plain and spread inside with nutella!

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 07:46

I fixed my temptation to getting up & weighing my guzzling my bedside squash bottle. That solves that problem.
Think I’ll get up & do a walkie talkie, get a start on the days steps

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/06/2020 07:57

Given I ate my body weight in curry cake and chocolate yesterday I'm not surprised at a gain. Still cake to go but I will be better today (maybe) or might sack it off until Monday

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 09:12

7,000 steps done, took me ages!!! But I was pottering around the kitchen sorting laundry as well so that’s something.
You could just aim for maintenance cals today life? Like 2000 would give you room for enjoyment, you could have your cake and eat it😉
Going to have my weekend fry shortly, I say fry but it’s all grilled & poached. Roast dinner later 😋

Happierwithouthim · 07/06/2020 09:14

Yes could do that buy a chocolate bar but I'll only lick my fingers and the knife Grin
Going for a day out with bf today so out walking dog now.

420 averahe for these pizzas and half the Aldi vegan jackfruit. My friend told me aldi have sourdough bases that are 350 cals and you control topping then.

Delighted that my tracking and water paid off because my steps are much lower this week.

Down 2lbs!!! Smile

Not I'm having mine when I get back from my walk. Same as that not fried!
Bought turkey medallions yesterday for w change too.

Wolfcub · 07/06/2020 09:37

Up again. Beer bloat

Happierwithouthim · 07/06/2020 09:57

Alcohol free June bought bf 0% Heineken and myself light cider but they're in storage Grin

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 10:14

That’s absolutely brilliant happier! Very encouraging when your efforts pay off, you’ll start next week immediately a pound or 2 down at this rate with your current weight trend. I bought carlsberg 0% a while ago, only 43 cals a bottle & decent enough. You would drink more than 2 though. I like a slimline tonic with loads of fruit as an alcohol alternative
I’ve factored in some wine with my roast but won’t go mad.

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 10:14

wouldn't drink more than 2 I meant

Hi, sorry guys I've been rubbish at posting.
Ex has moved some of his furniture out, so I've been doing lots of cleaning and more decluttering, having more space makes me happy.

Hope you are all ok.

Wolfcub · 07/06/2020 12:15

Ooo decluttering. There's a word we love Curvy. Glad it's making you feel good.

Been for a 3m walk in the rain. Good to get some fresh air

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/06/2020 12:41

Great losses happier.

Love a declutter curvy.

Done the race for Life equivalent with my gym so currently on 9500 steps. Still full from yesterday so only just having breakfast.

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 12:59

Yah to more space curvy, great to de clutter. Being in the house so much more has just highlighted how much crap we have. I’ve done a bit but there’s a lot more to do, much make a plan.
Well done on the race life, I’m feeling quite hungry today. Had my “fry” at 9.30’ish, had crumpet/butter/apple and some ham/chicken slices as a light lunch. Might need to get out for a walk if I’m to last until roast time. Not sure if we’ll have it as early dinner or late lunch, so either 4pm or 3pm hmmm

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 07/06/2020 17:31

Not, there is still so much I have to do, but a little progress is better than none!

Not2bObvious · 07/06/2020 20:00

Having to do a bit of hunger surfing, all calories eaten and I’m determined to stick to my 1800 - it should be plenty.
Ouf, might have to head to bed

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 08/06/2020 07:10

Going to hit steps and calories today if nothing else. Back to basics here.
Massive up

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 08/06/2020 07:20

Life, yep I need to get back to basics too!
Have done a workout this morning, DD2 is back to school today, so after I've dropped her off, I'm going for a jog, then will be WFH, lots to do on that front, but I figured my health and wellbeing are important too.

Not2bObvious · 08/06/2020 07:39

No weigh Monday for me, sorely tempted as hard habit to break but not risking it putting me in bad form. I did stay on track apart from Fridays overeat/drink. I have it in my head that if I run my week Saturday to Friday, I can splurge a bit on Fridays once my weigh in is done - try save a few cals for it. Like the old school way of slimming club, straight to chipper after meeting!
Good to go back to basics, always worth resetting

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 08/06/2020 14:27

Up more today. I think 💭 I'm going to stop weighing on Monday it's depressing

LaneBoy · 08/06/2020 15:33

Down 1.8lb. Definitely not deserved 😳 so maybe last week was period related? I’ve not noticed a pattern each month, but I only weigh once a week so it could just be a specific day that it happens and I usually miss it?

Does anyone know how I’d easily mark period dates on a graph please 🤔 I am going to track my weight with a line graph and I thought maybe I could have a dot for each period starting and then it might be easier to see a pattern. But I’m not sure how I’d mark it.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 08/06/2020 15:38

Lane, could you mark it with two different colours, red for on, blue for off?
Or is that just too simple?
