But just realised average stayed the same so that’s something?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/05/2020 09:39

I like roast cauli. I used a JO recipe

Wolfcub · 22/05/2020 09:58

I'm also a big fan of roast cauli. I did cauli steaks (as a side) on the griddle last week and they were great too

Sts which is great

Well done Camden and Not keeping them average is great.

Not2bObvious · 22/05/2020 10:40

Thanks wolf, great that you’ve an sts.
We’re doing very well all, considering the situation, let’s give ourselves a pat on the back. Let’s have a happy Friday and not f up this weekend😂

WreckTangled · 22/05/2020 12:41

I just had a KFC and it was amazing

Not2bObvious · 22/05/2020 15:39

Not sure if there’s any open here yet, no doubt when they do it’ll be a mile long queue at the drive through. I’d quick like a kfc despite not being a huge fan, I think I’d like the novelty of it

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 22/05/2020 15:41

We drove straight through, there was a family sitting outside and that's it. It was definitely more of a novelty factor!

Not2bObvious · 22/05/2020 16:51

I reckon it’ll take weeks before we won’t have to queue when it does reopen here - our local one is situated right in the middle of a very densely populated area.
Feeling tired at this stage, got an hours walk in early today so between that and running around I’ve over 13,000 steps. Having oven pizza & chicken bites for dinner, anything would do at this stage. Can barely be arsed!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/05/2020 18:35

KFC drive thru was rammed yesterday here too. Don't want one. 77 over and currently on 13 1/2 thousand steps

Happierwithouthim · 22/05/2020 22:14

Did you see the RTÉ news coverage of McDonald's drive thru not? I'm not a fan, would rather go hungry. Bf likes it and dc so sometimes I'd get their southern fried goujons.
KFC isn't local to me but I'd occasionally get it if I'm in the crescent in Limerick

Having burger again tonight because ds didn't eat his & I'm too lazy to make anything else. Not all that hungry either. They're from Dunnes not in the 2 packs for €8 section so I got chicken Goujons for dc and 4 bbq burgers, only saving about €1 Grin

Maybe I need to give roasted cauliflower a go.

Not2bObvious · 23/05/2020 07:31

No I didn’t but if B&Q were anything to go by, I’d say it was unreal. Not a McDonald’s fan either but again I’d love one at the moment although maybe not this early😬
No dunnes near me so I haven’t had any of their stuff either. I have been going to M&S though for a change the odd time. Their deals are actually not bad, and some things are yum.
Input my Friday night greediness, yup, well over. Not ready to weigh yet. I’ll save that joy for another while. Sounds like another crazy windy day, boo rubbish walking weather

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/05/2020 07:55

I've started weighing again yesterday and today. 129.5 bit feel less bloated.

WreckTangled · 23/05/2020 07:59

I'm not weighing until Monday Grin take away pizza tonight but I'll save myself for it!

Not2bObvious · 23/05/2020 09:32

Up .6, to be expected in fairness. Queuing for stupid shop

OP posts:
Wolfcub · 23/05/2020 10:22

Up 1lb. Beer to blame

WreckTangled · 23/05/2020 10:28

Shouldn't have made carrot cake. Best just to make sure it's all eaten today, right?!

Not2bObvious · 23/05/2020 10:30

I was thinking of making cake too but probably too dangerous!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 23/05/2020 11:59

I made sourdough waffles and had 3 for breakfast.
My muscles hurt like I did major exercise my all I did was walk, not a different route or anything is that because I'm not feeling well maybe?

Not2bObvious · 23/05/2020 13:33

Maybe you’ve been tensing your muscles without realising if you’ve been stressed happier? Your waffles sound delish 😋
I’ve hit my minimum of 9,000 between walkie talkie & my shopping trip. The rest of the gang are having takeaway tonight but I’m going to make something else for me, have to try a bit!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 23/05/2020 15:30

I'm toying with getting chocolate brownie from the freezer but it will take me way over so will just stick with ice cream.
Eat it wreck.

Is it because you have stopped happier? Your have been stressed and this is the rest your need.

Ok I'm saying it. Im fucking sick of queues for shops. I know why and I understand but it makes my heart sink when I see a long queue.

Thought steps would be shit today see above re queuing as took mil shopping. But just checked and on 9kk

Not2bObvious · 23/05/2020 16:30

I’m so hungry all day, I haven’t gone completely mad but there’s still an awful lot of day left. I made myself get up and prepare the veg for my dinner, and do the prep for the dinner tomorrow. But I could easily say f’it and get takeaway too. So I think it looks fairly concrete, I can only manage to diet one week every month. The other 3 are damage limitation and torture😂

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 23/05/2020 16:45

My favourite local restaurant is doing a limited menu for takeaway from next thurs. unfortunately the salad they've chosen to put on isn't my favourite goat cheese but chicken & bacon Sad definitely getting something and their chocolate brownie for dessert, dc are at their dads. Might do it fri or sat night see if bf will partake.

It's my butt cheeks and calves, find dog is pulling me along a lot so I presume I've slowed down walking unless it's the opposite?

Life it's soul destroying thinking that we're going to be doing this queuing in the rain.
My bro and niece visited my parents during the week I think I'd prefer if they hadn't told me. He's ok for going through checkpoints though iykwim

I had the triple chicken & stuffing sandwich from Aldi 642 cals I've probably had my days allowance at this stage.

Happierwithouthim · 23/05/2020 16:45

Ah you do better than one week a month not

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/05/2020 17:31

Have you been walking a different route or in different shoes? Maybe you do need to speed up.

You absolutely are better than one week a month not. At least one and a half...

Get the takeaway happier.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/05/2020 17:32

Don't get the takeaway not
