Phew - no takeaway tonight, thankfully I hasn’t mentioned it to the kids so only had to negotiate with himself. He’s so used to me changing my mind about takeaways I don’t think he even bothers to get excited. Mind you a few weeks ago he told me he was accepting me changing my mind, he wanted a chinese and that was that😂
Had a decent cooked breakfast of just under 500 - higher than usual but felt in need of protein.

Well done not. Save it for another time

Not2bObvious · 20/05/2020 13:12

Yeah exactly, when I’ve not eaten my body weight in chocolate & wineBlush
Just over 8500 steps - new minimum is 9,000 so that just in reach. Glorious day here

Stepping to get to 10k as my steps are shit. Got calories though. Feeling eaty but hormonal as some noises are annoying me which is a sign

Not2bObvious · 20/05/2020 20:36

Got around 11,000 steps which is good enough. I’m sure I’m over on cals but I’m ok with that - I’ll record them tomorrow, I’m done with today.
Fair play to you pushing on with the steps life

WreckTangled · 20/05/2020 20:44

I'm well within cals but didn't make the best choices nutrition wise. Cereal bars and chocolate rice cakes featured heavily Blush Bolognese for dinner with the courgette dish again it was so nice. Lots of Parmesan too.

WreckTangled · 21/05/2020 06:13

1.4lb down.

Not2bObvious · 21/05/2020 06:20

Wow that’s a good drop wreck
Haven’t weighed yet but input my extras for yesterday in mfp, yeah well over. Bloody Fitbit strap broke overnight and it’s going to take 2 weeks for a replacement to arrive. I thought it was ok as I had a spare piece but the catch is broken too. Raging. No weigh yet.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 21/05/2020 06:37

Oh no not I would be really annoyed too! I'm not sure I'll keep that drop as have planned a kfc tomorrow and take away pizza Saturday. Should be ok if I stick to salad for me other meals though.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/05/2020 07:22

Well done wreck on the drop.
That's bloody annoying not. Can you do a temp fix?

Wolfcub · 21/05/2020 07:36

3lb drop from whatever day I posted about a 1lb increase. Still 2lb over my lockdown happy weight (not the weight I want to get to but the weight I think is acceptable for lockdown). Pilates done yesterday

Fruit and yogurt for breakfast. Bagels for lunch. Then I think falafel pittas for tea

Happierwithouthim · 21/05/2020 09:31

Not what Fitbit do you have? In case I've a strap to fit?

So I've been seeing 168 a lot and even 169.5 but today I'm back to 166.4 so it brings my average under 168, I'm taking that as a win. I'm off work sick until after bank holiday, stress break more than anything so I should be able to post more often.

Wolf good to see a loss.
I thought I'd make a dent in my weight loss with lockdown but it's had to opposite effect. Back to basics when I'm feeling a bit better.

Wreck I bought salad this week and haven't looked at it yet. I've lasagne left from last night so maybe I'll have it today. Made it with bolognese from freezer so stretched one portion bolognese to two portions lasagne & reused foil carton from my turkey roast on Sunday very frugal Grin

Out for a walk now and discovered my Fitbit is dead Shock

Not interesting what you say about takeaways, I've noticed that ex is getting one every weekend now and I only get one perhaps once a month , so even though I'm getting more often than I used too still not a massive deal, I prefer my own food or eating out (what's that again?Grin)

Just fell over a pothole, it might be time to go home! It's a beautiful morning though.

I agree with curvy's take on snacking

Thanks for welcome back

I went back on symprove got 15% off so figured it was a good plan as once i had second month bought I got third month free. It's pain in the ass, got to take it on an empty stomach & wait ten minutes before I can take revive active, which would be fine if I could take it when I wake but it must be kept in the fridge!!

Not2bObvious · 21/05/2020 10:42

The Fitbit now lives in my bra until Amazon Prime delivers, won’t take too long I hope. I’ve been trying to think of fixes, but it’s a tricky one. It’s a charge 3, and it was a sort of rubber strap? I’m slightly scared I’ll lose the whole brains of the operation if I try to sew/glue/duct tape (you can see I’ve been pondering!)
At the end of the day I know an hours walk is 6-7000 steps, I could just go old school if the bra holder becomes untenable.
I hope you’re ok happier, so sorry you’ve felt stressed. I think you’re doing very well with weight considering all that.
My own weight is doing its post loss mess of going up daily so trying not to throw my toys out of the pram. In work today, trying to do 101 things before doing shopping for me and relative. I miss the old world

Within calories (just!). Ate almost a whole cauliflower for dinner I think. I'm addicted.

Happierwithouthim · 21/05/2020 19:19

Wow wreck they're huge and not my favourite veg
I didn't break out the salad
Had lasagne and two waffles after a four hour nap, I must be burnt out. Then maybe an hour later a bbq steak burger, delicious with some smoked applewood cheese on top.

WreckTangled · 21/05/2020 19:28

Mmm I love applewood. I have my cauliflower roasted with piripiri seasoning 😋 boiled is 🤮

WreckTangled · 21/05/2020 19:30

Argh just realised I put six sausages into MFP instead of 3! Am 330 under now! No wonder my sugar level is low as I used the carb count from MFP for my insulin 🤦🏽‍♀️

Not2bObvious · 21/05/2020 20:36

That burger sounds delicious happier
Haven’t had roasted cauliflower unless you count cauliflower cheese - that I can eat a lot of!
Under cals by 200 or so, about time I had a lower day after pigging my way through the last 2. Maybe I’ll get a drop on the scales tomorrow but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
13,000 steps, that’ll do

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 21/05/2020 20:39

Not you should definitely try it it's really good. I like it so some bits are almost burnt. Ate some crisps and a chocolate digestive.

CamdenLurker · 21/05/2020 22:09

Wreck - how do you prepare the cauliflower? Sounds like something I'd enjoy.

2.5lbs down this week, but I'm genuinely giving it everything I've got, 1200 cals, no snacks, very few starchy carbs and at least 10000 steps. At the moment I'm coping quite well!

Beef teriyaki stir fry for dinner tonight, made double and saved half for tomorrow when everyone else will be eating pizza.

Not2bObvious · 21/05/2020 22:39

That’s a brilliant loss camden, glad you’re coping well with the low cals & steps. You absolutely earned that

I can came in about 400 Cal under and 12 k steps yesterday. Combo of protein shake and Aldi slim meal filled me up.

Had the shake measured out properly.

Pro; did fill me up, fine powder easy to mix, good protein to calories ratio.

Con: watery to drink as a shake and very sweet for my pallet. Took me ages to drink and seemed to coat my front teeth.

I will post tryouts of anyone wants to have some

WreckTangled · 22/05/2020 07:30

Camden in break it into florets (chopping the bigger ones in half) drizzle with rapeseed oil and whichever slice I fancy plus a bit of salt (the seasonings you buy in the supermarket are great Cajun or bbq etc) then bung in the oven for twenty minutes. Or you can use curry paste but that's less healthy Grin

WreckTangled · 22/05/2020 07:46

Up 0.4. Probably the crisps Grin hope so anyway.

Not2bObvious · 22/05/2020 09:04

Down 1.2 but still up overall from Tuesday
