Ahem. I had double pudding. Ooops.

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 19:05

Double pudding....I’m having about double the wine I planned so that’s my treat!

life that curry sounds lovely! I'm such a lazy cook, I really enjoy eating nice food but hate cooking it! I made an amazing chinese style curry once but took so long to make I haven't done it since... even though it was delicious and better than the takeaway!

curvy that's great getting into exercise, what are you doing? Me and dd1 have been doing couch to 5k, finished week 1 today which was pretty good! I think she wants to do another week 1 run to feel secure about moving on to week 2.

I've made ok choices today, not the best - had pasta at lunch and ate some chips in a roll when the girls had dinner at 430. Now I'm hungry again... having a small jacket potato and salad otherwise I will wake up in the night feeling hungry/sick. Normally stay up till 1ish as DH doesn't get in from work till 10 tonight and by the time he has a shower/makes dinner it's nearly 11.

Weigh day tomorrow morning... not going to be good as I'm eating so late tonight 😣

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 22:38

I’ve gone a lot over. It could always be worse and it’s my only day over, had some cals saved so I’ve only had a one day setback. Tomorrow back to 1800

Up .6, so I’m back down the .9 I was up last week. If I can control my behaviour today I might start the week at a lighter weight, that’d be good. I would really like to see a loss next week, to move beyond my lockdown lowest average of 162, I’m currently 162.5

I stepped on the scales and quickly stepped off again. I'm not going to weigh until Tuesday Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 07:37

Me too wreck. Although still full from last night.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 07:38

Well done not. That's great going for the weekend.

I'm quite a lazy cook. I just happen to have time at the moment on weekends. I turn over from long ingredients lists and complicated recipes.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/05/2020 09:52

nocuts, I'm doing something called body groove, lots of videos on you tube. They are also doing a 30 day trial with a 30 day challenge, so I've been doing that for a week now.
It is mostly dancing but you use all of the space you have and move your body in any way that feels comfortable to you. There is also HIIT, but again in dance. On the site there is also yoga and pilates.
I'm really enjoying it at the moment and may continue after the 30 days, it will be £45 for the year.

Also life gave me some info on weights and I'm doing that twice a week.

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2020 10:18

Must look into that body groove thing curvy, trying to find something that won’t bust my stupid back that’s a bit more than walking.
Did 2 walkie talkies so I’ve hit my minimum 9,000 steps. My target is to get 84,000 for the week so I’ve around 5,000 to go. Hopefully get it over the course of the day.
2 more Sundays left in May, hope to get to 160’ish
I did a hell no weigh in at first this morning - but a couple of reweighs confirmed the first was bogus. Or that’s my story and I’m sticking to it😉

Not, give it a go, there are modifications too.
I really like her and I'm glad I don't have to do the same thing as an instructor.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 17/05/2020 11:08

The body groove sounds good I will have to look into that, me and dds did some zumba style dancing on YouTube that was fun. Is it suitable to do with children? As my eldest doesn't go to bed until nearly 9 and by that point I haven't got the energy to start exercising!!

Weighed this morning 11st3lb so 1lb lost. Feeling good as I've eaten lots this week and not felt like I missed out on anything. Definitely motivates me to keep going as it feels worth it.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/05/2020 11:55

Yes nocuts definitely ok to do with children, if you do decide to sign up, you get unlimited access straight away and there are dances aimed at families.
They have took the program to schools in the US.
She doesn't make you feel inadequate, which is pretty refreshing.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 11:57

Pleased the weight training is ok curvy.
Going to look at body groove

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 12:00

Looks canny. Not my thing but I can see the attraction.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/05/2020 12:23

life, thank you again for sharing the weight lifting info with me, I'm liking it, which is huge for me, I'm usually allergic to exercise!

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 12:50

No worries, pleased you like it. It will hopefully make such a difference to your physique. Shout if you need more help. I like weights now I've found my groove with it.

Still can't get a new bar set for a decent price thought.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/05/2020 15:41

life, I've only been doing it for two weeks, and even though I'm very flabby and have bingo wings, one of my colleagues mentioned the other day that she noticed I looked more toned! Especially around my shoulders and neck.
I can't see it really!

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2020 16:50

That’s really good nocuts, well done and even better that you don’t feel like you’re missing out.
That’s a nice compliment curvy, it’s when other people start commenting you know things are moving. Sure haven’t you’ve lost a few pounds as well over the weeks, it all adds up.
Over 16,000 steps, on track

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 17:37

Excellent curvy. You are totally smashing it.

I got some of the Group protein powder to try. I will report back.

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2020 17:41

Certainly flogging it hard, I only watch a couple of the affiliates now & they’re pushing it a lot, never listen to the main pair any more. Be interested to hear what it’s like life from someone without a vested interest (am aware this won’t make sense to most on here - don’t worry nothing too salacious haha)

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/05/2020 19:58

Not my weight was and still is fluctuating like mad!
But I'm trying to make peace with it, but it's not easy!

life, I'm really hoping I can stick with it.

Thanks guys!

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/05/2020 21:05

O wish you look curvy. I can't stick to it. Really hope you do. Your are doing so well.

Lots of emotional eating today

Not2bObvious · 17/05/2020 21:54

I think we can all sympathise on the fluctuating weight curvy, I’ve been told tonight I should just eat less and I’ll lose weight. Well, yeah, clearly, but my current method is working so well!! Or is it....
Oh I can eat less, it’s just the days I don’t I clearly ruin all my efforts. Pain in my face

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 18/05/2020 06:35

Eugh I'm so annoyed with myself. Not only did I eat crap meaning my jeans are now tight, it's meant my sugar level is really high. It's just not worth it I don't know why I do it.
