I want more cake and a g&t. Am on 1116 but that was from guessing the cake...

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/05/2020 20:18

I'm having an extra cup of tea to try and resist the cake. Are you on 1200 wreck?

WreckTangled · 15/05/2020 20:28

Yep. It's the only way I have any hope of losing anything.

Not2bObvious · 15/05/2020 20:31

You could have a gin & slimline for 88 cals wreck, jeez 1200, that is hard going. Hats off sticking to it
Good woman life, I did that last night, was pleased I got through. Wasn’t easy but it became easier once I made my peace with it

Not2bObvious · 15/05/2020 20:48

Soz my maths is off but an ounce of gin is like 79 cals I think and a slimline less than 10 cals. That’s a drink that I never link food with. I do like choc with red wine, crisps with white etc etc

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/05/2020 20:54

Thought so wreck. Indeed hats off to you on that.
Yes, in on 1800 now so that's ok.

WreckTangled · 15/05/2020 20:58

Remember I'm really lazy Grin so I don't use much energy!

Not2bObvious · 15/05/2020 21:33

Just a tiny bit over (like maybe 50)
Not quite 11,000 steps so it’s a good thing I managed to not go over. Off to bed soon, safest place for me away from temptation😉

0.4 up.

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 09:21

Down 1lb, average now back to 2 weeks ago, now at .5 up on lowest average since this all started. If only every week could be like this.

Good morning everyone, sorry I haven't been posting, I just had to take a break from the internet.

I see that Wreck and Camden have joined us, hi guys!

I've upped my exercise and have been doing it everyday since Saturday, my muscles are all a bit sore, but I know this will ease as my body gets used to it.
Usually with exercise, I will do things for a few days, then it hurts and I give up!
This time I'm determined to keep going!

Have also had a good sort though the cupboards and I'm hoping this will help me make better choices as all the healthier stuff is at the front, plus I have put some fruit on the side, so it is the first thing I see when I switch on the kettle.

Hope everyone is ok.

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 11:22

Nice to hear from you curvy, hope you’re ok. Yeah a break is no harm, especially these days. Good on you getting started with exercise and getting your environment set for success.

Going to be takeaway today. And bacon for breakfast so bloat tomorrow. Made salmon and veg quiche for lunch so lots of protein. Used quark instead of cheese. It's ok but leaked from the tin. Never made quiche for years. It's a crustless one so no pastry

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/05/2020 12:19

Yeah I'm ok not, thank you. Everything was just getting on top, had to catch up on work stuff, lots of training, 2 reports to write and data. I procrastinate way too much, so needs must.

Plus ex has been looking after the kids when I'm at work, but not doing a very good job at making sure the kids were doing their daily work, so I had to help the younger one with that too.

I'm hoping the exercises stick and I guess setting up the environment will help, but we will have to see!

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/05/2020 15:04

Pleased it's was just business curvy.
Not tracked today but made good choices. I'm not getting takeout now I've made a aubergine and chickpea curry. Kids can still have it.

WreckTangled · 16/05/2020 15:15

Life the clothes you sent for ds last year have been a lifesaver. Thank you! Thanks

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 15:26

Feeling peckish this afternoon but am determined to stick to the dinner I planned (I’d murder a takeaway - hats off to you resisting it life) Got a decent walk in so near enough on track with steps.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/05/2020 15:42

You are welcome wreck.
I think I just prefer my own but I have a decent curry book. Hate the toxic bloat feeling I get from takeaways now. That's just not worth the calories. And I can't eat a full portion so it's a waste too.

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 16:55

Yes I hear you. The Chinese I had last Sunday was so disappointing but it wasn’t my choice so I had to go with it. I’m precious about my calories these days

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 16/05/2020 17:02

I had aubergine, chickpeas and potatoes curry with 2 home made chipatti.mmmmm

Kids said take out was nice and the lady remembered me and was pleased we came back. All good for all I think.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/05/2020 17:31

Used my saved calories for a big bowl of chocolate brownie, ice cream and sorbet. Mmmmmm

WreckTangled · 16/05/2020 17:58

Today is a write off. Oh well back to it tomorrow.

Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 18:13

Aww that’s nice life, business is so messed up for so many - your support clearly counts.
You can’t mess up wreck once you don’t give up. Don’t be too hard on yourself

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 16/05/2020 18:14

Sorry I know I should have noted you never said mess up, days can be written off with no lasting impact😉

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 16/05/2020 18:17

I'm not feeling that bad. Have a packet of chocolate orange smartie buttons in the fridge waiting for me! I haven't gone crazy though so I'm not going to beat myself up.
