Exactly wreck you are back with us doing something about it.

10000 steps today but 100 or so over on calories.

Not2bObvious · 12/05/2020 22:36

Just under 12,000 steps and saved 150 out of my 1800. I am feeling a bit hungry & my stomach is talking to me but sod it, it won’t kill me. I wouldn’t get enough out of 150 so might trigger a splurge, Tuesday too early for that for me. Bad enough I kind of start the weekend on Thursdays!
Food shopping for the masses tomorrow, not my favourite task these days for sure.

1lb down! Despite the two cupcake yesterday Blush just what I need to spur me on.

Not2bObvious · 13/05/2020 06:59

Down 1.4 here - average moving down nicely. I did leave out Monday’s high, I’m going with the idea (this week) that I’ll only start recording my weights once the artificial weekend bloat has mostly gone. If I get at least 4 weigh ins, that’s enough for a accurate enough average. And it’s easier on the mind.
That’s great wreck, very encouraging, well done.

Well done not. MFP also said I'm down 14lb from my highest so that's good too.

Not2bObvious · 13/05/2020 08:41

Wow 14lbs - that’s a significant amount. Can you remember being that stone heavier? I was just thinking the other day about my post baby jeans lonnnnng time ago, I forget sometimes I’ve come a distance.

WreckTangled · 13/05/2020 08:48

I can't really but when I see photos of me from a few years ago I can definitely see it!

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/05/2020 10:32

No weight today. I've resolved myself to making sure I stay under 130. I will lose the 5lb gain once the world restarts. Min 10k steps, couple of weights sessions and aiming for 1600- 1800 calories.

Home school and new job are hurting my brain too much to focus on weight loss.

WreckTangled · 13/05/2020 18:37

230 under today if I don't eat anything else. Have bought myself some chocolate in the food shop that's coming Saturday allowing myself one day to eat that plus some biscuits will hopefully stop me from giving up.

Not2bObvious · 13/05/2020 18:41

Steps just under 11,000 - I’ll probably leave it at that. Totm pending, so I’m not going too hard on myself.
Sounds like a good plan life

10500 steps and 1780 cals. Need to resist the kitchen now

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/05/2020 19:13

I'm hungry. Probably as not hitting protein at the minute

Not2bObvious · 13/05/2020 20:26

Bang on 1800 - needed every last calorie today

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 13/05/2020 20:35

115 under. Fancied some cheese Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/05/2020 20:38

Bastard mini eggs. ...... Leaves thread..... Back tomorrow Grin

WreckTangled · 14/05/2020 06:36

0.2 down. Hardly anything but going in the right direction and if I remember rightly this often happens then I'll have a bigger loss in a day or two.

Life I love mini eggs!

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/05/2020 07:12

They are gone now.

Not2bObvious · 14/05/2020 09:02

Up .2, average now .7 down on last Sunday and still .7 up on weight of 2 weeks ago. With totm impending it could all go bonkers. Aiming to keep the protein up today, been a good week so far, have some calories banked to offset against inevitable weekend splurge. If I hold tough today I’ve a fighting chance of keeping to my average cals for the week. That’s v important as my steps have dropped to around 10-12,000 a day. Can’t do 15,000 at the moment

We've had cream teas delivered to us at work. I'm not having one though already had a waffle

Not2bObvious · 14/05/2020 13:08

Sounds like they’re determined to keep you fed, cupcakes and cream teas....slobber
I love cream cakes, proper love them. Very rarely have them though😫

Ffs after finally getting to speak to Fitbit they've sent me a replacement. Only it's a refurbished one without straps that won't even turn on Angry

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/05/2020 19:07

Ah ffs wreck.
Hungry today. As always. At 1700 ish. Hit protein today but not fibre

Not2bObvious · 14/05/2020 19:24

Trying to avoid overeating today too, all cals just about gone. Going to see if I can ride it out as I’m not really physically hungry, just mind peckish. We’ll see.
Would you consider going to slightly higher cals life if you’re not trying to drop the 5lb?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 14/05/2020 19:36

I've managed to get it working. Not very impressed I was sent a refurbished one though

I'm 230 under so far. Going to try and keep it that way despite the cheese in the fridge calling my name. I know I mess to reserve calories for the chocolate I'm planning on eating at the weekend Grin

WreckTangled · 14/05/2020 19:40

I agree, life. For maintenance wouldn't it be a bit more than 1700? You're certainly more active (and taker?) than me and my maintenance is higher than that.

I'm doing a course in nutrition and health (it was funded and work is so quiet) and I disagree with so much of the advice in it (which is all government advice) but I have to answer the questions as expected or I won't pass Grin
