I'm sorting my self out, starting from tomorrow.

So fed up with mindlessly eating crap day after day. I'm getting fatter by the week and I've had enough.

I will be weighing myself tomorrow morning.

Please join me.

A loss is a loss @forevergreen so well done. Being accountable to this thread and checking in is helping me lots, so thank you for starting it. Smile

forevergreen · 17/02/2020 08:13

@mumoflittlemice I agree that posting everyday has helped me.

I just wished I hadn't gone food crazy over the weekend, but hopefully I won't do that again.

Well done to everyone, however tiny your loss was, like you say a loss is a loss.

I'm starting ww blue AGAIN today. Need to take control and it's the only way I can do it. I've ballooned to 13,5 and I'm only 5ft4. I feel good at 11st so that's my goal which is 2.5.
All my clothes look awful on my, I'm buying bigger clothes! My face is huge, I can't hide my chins.
I got down to 11. 2 years ago and felt great, have lovely holiday photos and need to be that size again
So cross with myself. Going to check in here for support and accountability's good luck ladies.

forevergreen · 17/02/2020 08:18

@mumoflittlemice forgot to say, it sounds like you had a rough couple of days, you poor thing.

Glad you are ok now.

2lbs off - happy with that!

Thanks for the thread forever! ☺️

maddenlightfoot · 17/02/2020 09:45

Well done for the losses and maintainers! I'm trying to start good habits today by drinking 2l of water. Will also cut and paint my nails for a bit of self care 💅 💦

CarrotVan · 17/02/2020 10:09

May I join? I sound a lot like BlankScreen. Just turned 40, lost all my pregnancy weight from DS2 by having a mental health crisis (long story), used to lose weight/not gain through stress but stupid anti-depressants have stopped that so now I'm at least 20 llbs more than I want to be and nearly as heavy as I was when full term with DS2.

I know low carb, high protein works for me but I get awful toast cravings.

I work full time and have resonsibilities pulling me in every direction (elderly demanding parents, young demanding children etc) so have virtually no time to exercise

Plus I drink too much wine.

But I feel like shit, my "still affected by SPD" hips hurt and I have zero oomph so I need to get my shit together and exert some control over my life.

CarrotVan · 17/02/2020 10:10

10 days in the sun booked for the end of May - I want to feel like me again by then if possible

forevergreen · 17/02/2020 10:42

@maddenlightfoot I have been doing loads of self care. I've sorted my feet, hands, eyebrows etc. I've been full body moisturising each day and using face and hair masks. It's made a massive difference to how I look and feel. Just got to sort my fatness out now!

Well I've lost 5 lbs this week! Which is a great start, I know it's mostly water but i feel less bloated which is great. I'll be happy if i can lose 1lb this week.

6 weeks until i go away so is be happy with a pound a week loss from now

ColleysMill · 17/02/2020 11:47

Is it too late to join?

I started making changes just before Christmas because i realised i really hated the way i looked. I didnt recognise the person in the mirror, i was sick of not being happy in my clothes and my own skin and just feeling meh about everything.

So far I've lost 2 stone and I feel bloody brilliant although i know i need to lose a stone and a half more to hit a healthy BMI.

My biggest fear is slipping back into old ways and putting it all back on like i have done numerous times in the past .....

StegosaurusRex · 17/02/2020 13:04

I've been really good the whole week. I've been eating well and drinking loads of water. I did go out for pizza with my DP on Saturday, but that's my first treat since I started.

Already feeling slimmer on my stomach, just need to get some crunches in because I always go more jiggly when I start losing.

Down 6lbs this morning. Good first week and encouragement to keep it up and start exercising - got some weights coming on Thursday because I'm a bit of a weakling Grin

Also down a stone bracket so keeping everything crossed I won't go back up!

mumoflittlemice · 17/02/2020 20:21

Wow @Rowdythree @ColleysMill and @StegosaurusRex!! Cracking week for you guys! Smile Well done to all the ‘losers’ (that sounded better in my head 🤔😆), the stuck-at-the-same-weighters and the hanging-on-for-dear-lifers.

Hey thanks @forevergreen, getting there.

How was everyone’s day? Good grief I nearly buckled in Sainsbury’s Cafe earlier. Was desperate for a scone but thanks to their utterly shit dregs of a selection of anything at all remotely tempting, I had.... NOTHING! Grin

Stay strong 💪🏼

Blankscreen · 17/02/2020 21:10

There are some mini eggs in the kitchen and I'm sure they are calling my name.

I'm trying to be strong.

mumoflittlemice · 17/02/2020 22:21

Tell me you resisted @Blankscreen?!
Or just had 2 and walked away..?

Mini eggs, argh Easter and all its bastard chocolate! No offence Easter fans but arrghhh!!! Shock

Blankscreen · 17/02/2020 22:28

I've resisted. Had some hula hoop pufts instead.

ColleysMill · 18/02/2020 07:06

Morning all

I tend to weigh on tuesdays and fridays - stayed the same this week which tbf im pleased with as i had a weekend away last weekend with much beer and pizza. Shock

Back on it this week and trying up my exercise so i dont plateau too long

maddenlightfoot · 18/02/2020 08:06

Mini-eggs 😋 - you are a saint for resisting!

I drank 2l of water yesterday ✅, and painted my nails ✅. I've also bought a new spf30 face-cream, hair-dye and face-mask.

(Sorry, I know none of this counteracts the wine and take-away I had last night, but I feel I'm getting in the mindset of self care ready for when I return to work next week)

ZimZamZoom · 18/02/2020 08:37

I'm in too (slightly late)

Weight: 11st 8lb
Height: 5' 7"

Want to get down to 10st. I'll be doing The Fast 800. Fingers crossed. Good luck to everyone :)

BabySharksMummyShark · 18/02/2020 12:59

Hello everyone, please can i join?

Im 16st 8lbs id ideally like to be 11st. Im fed up on feeling rubbish about myself.

I have started a new job and already i feel so much happier so hopefully less emotional eating and im walking to and from work which is just over 20 minutes each way so thats a start.

Im counting calories/ following slimming world rules!

I just need some support 😊

xGAIAx · 18/02/2020 14:02

Well done losers and samers.

I've been doing a bit of self care too, it really helps doesn't it. I've also just gone and booked a holiday and now in a panic about my weight but I have 6 months to get the best result possible. 2lbs per week would be absolutely perfect.

Had a huge breakfast this morning ...

2 Skinny sausages
2 Turkey rashers
1 Portobello mushroom
2 tomatoes
"fried" onion

Haven't even thought about lunch yet as I'm still stuffed.

Forrandomposts · 18/02/2020 14:25

Afternoon all

Forgot to weigh in yesterday so did it today instead. A bit more lost so now 18 pounds in total! I know it'll start to level off soon so enjoying it while I can!

1/1/20 - 225
6/2/20 - 213
13/2/20 - 209
18/2/20 - 206
