Anyone up for sorting their shit out?

I'm sorting my self out, starting from tomorrow.

So fed up with mindlessly eating crap day after day. I'm getting fatter by the week and I've had enough.

I will be weighing myself tomorrow morning.

Please join me.

Just checking in. Not too bad today either:

B - bacon and egg muffin
L - 2 x weetabix with semi skimmed milk
D - quorn sausages with pasta and sweet pepper sauce.

No snacks! Will probably have a glass of wine later though. Hoping I can keep going over the weekend and be a bit more active too.

Have done sit ups and crunches every night this week as well.

Had a sneaky weigh in this morning and was 12st 4lbs, so 3lbs down - hoping I can lose a bit more by Monday, or at least not put any more on!

BlueEyedFloozy · 14/02/2020 21:47

Wow, that's fantastic progress @Forrandomposts - well done!

@mumoflittlemice - just keep thinking how virtuous you will feel having resisted when they've finished... Not quite the same but sometimes I make my own pizza using a wrap for the base if I've got a craving on, it's surprisingly good but not as good.

Finishing the day on 11.5 syns.

B: Mixed spice and plum porridge
L: Leek, carrot and potato soup, 2x ryvita w. Philly light and cucumber
D: Cod fillet, homemade chips, mushy peas, pickles and ketchup
Snacks: 2x satsumas, grapes

Does anyone else get the munchies whilst cooking? I ate about half a punnet of grapes when making dinner earlier on - not ideal but better than biscuits or something I guess. Any tips gratefully received.

mumoflittlemice · 14/02/2020 23:00

@BlueEyedFloozy I have eaten so much while I’m cooking that I’m not hungry enough for dinner once it’s ready. But then eat it anyway Blush

So tonight I opened a bag of baby leaf salad leaves (which I actually do like) and ate them like crisps while I was doing dinner. Stuffed my face, all for about 10 kcals, which made me think it’s more about just eating something than what I’m eating when I’m doing it on the hoof. Grazing Grin

I am leaving a bowl of washed blueberries in the kitchen for the same reason. I can snaffle them, guilt free Smile

Thank you, I am proud of myself for resisting and amazingly I did enjoy my dinner. I’m not even especially fussed for pizza anyway, it was just so tempting and would have been soooo easy to buckle. Onwards!

twinkledag · 14/02/2020 23:01

Wrap pizza sounds like a good idea!

Good day for me today 👏🏻

BiscuitMachine · 15/02/2020 08:29

Morning all,
Well done to everyone for getting through the week. It's all gone a bit wrong for me towards the end of the week, this always happens. I've just had a massive bowl of cereal for breakfast and now I regret it. Going to try my best for the rest of the weekend.

Rowdythree · 15/02/2020 08:44

Bad day for me yesterday, unlike mumoflittlemice i didn't resist the pizza 🙈 then i had a valentines dinner with dh, plus booze!

So back on track today, i'm going away for the night though so it will be hard!

Have a good weekend all

MillieMoodle · 15/02/2020 09:48

Had two slices of toast with flora for breakfast. Not sure what lunch will be. Dinner will be spag bol. Weather is wet and windy so not planning to go out if I can avoid it! Having a quiet day at home and my hairdresser is coming at 12 so looking forward to new hair later! Hope everyone has a good day!

mumoflittlemice · 15/02/2020 10:43

I find weekends / school holidays harder food wise, so much going on and all out of the usual routine. Trying to avoid falling off the wagon by anticipating all of this and staying really aware of what I am determined to achieve here.

It’s not about depriving myself, it’s about getting back to a weight that I feel ‘me’ and happy with. I can do it. We all can Smile

forevergreen · 15/02/2020 11:12

Morning

Well I just got back from a very bracing dog walk. I didn't want to go but I pushed myself and just cracked on. Talk about windy.

I woke up in the night and came down and ate two cereal bars. I very nearly lost it and just carried on eating everything in sight but I managed to remove myself from the kitchen and went back to bed.

Keep at it everyone.

@MillieMoodle I am envious that you are getting your hair done. I need to get mine cut too.

Are you going for a new style?

I am already working on my overweight issue.
So far I have gone from 13stone 13Ibs to 13stone 1Ibs in 3 weeks, seeing the sachems go down every week keeps me motivated Smile well done everyone and stay strong we can do this.

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/02/2020 11:20

Scales* not sachems Grin

forevergreen · 15/02/2020 11:31

@MusicToMyEars800 wow 12lbs in three weeks. That's so good. I'm really pleased for you.

I maintained a 4.5st loss for 2 years and felt amazing. Got ill and plummeted to a horribly, upsetting low weight and discovered people saying youre too thin is as hurtful as saying youre too heavy. 8mths later ive recovered, mostly, but am a stone heavier than pre illness! I dont like it!!!

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/02/2020 11:37

Thank you forevergreen I am determined to keep going, I have been doing it by sticking to 3 meals a day that are potion controlled, no snacking unless it’s fruit or veg, 50 burpees every day and 2 24hr fasts a week and it’s working wonders.

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/02/2020 11:38

I’m not depriving myself of anything either, have had Pizza Hut and dominoes once a week for 3 weeks.

BlueEyedFloozy · 15/02/2020 11:45

Morning all - had a cooked brunch today and soo enjoyed it!

Used half the Aldi skinny breakfast pack and DH couldn't tell the difference! Pork sausage, square sausage, black pudding, fried egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, ketchup and a cup of tea to wash it down all for 4 syns 😋

Making ham and veg fried rice with some Mayflower sauce tonight. Might have a few prawn crackers too.

MusicToMyEars800 · 15/02/2020 11:48

That breakfast sounds amazing BlueEyedFloozy I’m about to make a brunch or fried eggs on toast, will be using olive oil and have seeded bread which is delicious.

BlueEyedFloozy · 15/02/2020 11:55

It was lovely, I usually work weekend mornings but have this next 2 weekends off so it's nice to have a cooked breakfast!

forevergreen · 16/02/2020 07:44

Morning

I was doing so well yesterday until the evening and then I monumentally fucked up and ate and ate and ate and then some!

Moving on Grin

@forevergreen that happens me so often but I've learnt.. put it behind you & a fresh start today.. so often I've thrown in the towel & said that's it.. I'm done but then I sabotaged myself for a week or 2 & had to restart a few lbs up.
So checking in here with my progress, a decent enough week, could have been better but I'm down a 1lb & a half.. weight loss is so slow since I started menopause but I'm accepting it for what it is..
Hope everyone gets the results they've worked for over the next few days. Smile
