Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

I’m the same, crappy day always led to naughty food, but not anymore! Get a happy song on and have a little dance instead, that’ll lift you mood. Hope you’re day gets better x

Delly1977 · 03/02/2020 15:10

Oh yes, that sounds like a plan! A bit of a boogie does the heart good! Ooooh I best shut the blinds as I'm braless and don't want to cause a scene hahahaha x

Allysan · 03/02/2020 15:48

That made me lol 😂😂

Oktopus123 · 03/02/2020 16:09

First weigh in and 81b off plus 2 inches off bust , hips and waist ! Very pleased and hoping for a good week this week too . It’s definitely got easier , become routine now . I’m drinking loads which they say is key to it working , unfortunately the squash not wine ! 🤣

Delly1977 · 03/02/2020 16:13

That's brilliant @Oktopus well done!!! Oh I love other peoples weigh ins, what a great loss x

Allysan · 03/02/2020 16:36

Fantastic @Oktopus123 you must be very happy, we’ll done x

Allysan · 03/02/2020 18:10

Just halfed my mint chocolate shake and made a hot chocolate and it is divine. I think I made an error picking my first weeks choices, they’re all sweet, either bars or milkshakes. I need savoury and something warm.

Delly1977 · 03/02/2020 18:30

I love the spaghetti bolognese with loads of chilli flakes, sometimes if I'm struggling I add a handful of spinach too! Bloody gorgeous x

My hubby on step 2 so I just made him that and added some chicken breast, he loved it x

I'm having all sweet this week too, I love the vanilla shakes, have one made into coffee, one blitzed with ice and then my last product is a peanut bar. I find the shakes fill me more than the meals or other products and the peanut bars are my absolute fave x

Delly1977 · 03/02/2020 18:42

Dont know about you lot but whilst on plan I seem to take better care of myself in other areas (Moisturise more, do my nails, trim my bush, tint my eyebrows, hair packs, was only joking about my bush...its winter 😂)
Anyway today I have bought some lovely Radox bath salts in the scent Acai Berry....oh they are absolutely brilliant, they smell gorgeous x

LozBoz1972 · 03/02/2020 19:40

Hey all,

Well, I have decided to have a blind weigh in every week - sounds weird BUT for me if I only lost a 1lb I would be mortified and I would give up, so have decided on the above. My consultant said ‘I can see you’ve been 100% by the numbers’. I was itching to ask but if it’s not what I wanted I know I would spiral into negative Nancy (gosh, hope that’s not anyone’s name on her 😂). I KNOW I have lost weight, I can feel it... Might ask her to tell me when I’ve hit a stone though.

Well done @Oktopus123 - numbers are amazing 😊

@Delly1977 - breakfast smoothie, Strawberry, banana and oats - it’s amazing! Bacon sarnie would be fab wouldn’t it 😂

Made a jelly tonight with the mix-a-mouse was a lovely treat - recommend it.

Delly1977 · 03/02/2020 20:08

@lozboz1972 you gotta do what you gotta do! It doesn't sound weird, it just means that you can focus on the way you feel rather than being hung up by the numbers x well done on your first week....that smoothie sounds delicious...will see if my consultant has them x

LozBoz1972 · 03/02/2020 20:45

Anyone tried the Goulash soup?

Just been looking at the total range of product - what’s everyone’s fave?

Evening all!

Well done guys, everyone has their head in the game!

I've had my first "fall off" day today. I've been in A & E all day and one of my friends who works their bought be a meat and potato pasty at lunch. Managed to not touch it until about half 4 when I felt sick with hunger so I ate it.

I had already had a ready made shake so I've eaten nothing else and will be back on plan tomorrow. It is what it is, and normally when I feel sorry for myself my world consists of crisps and chocolate so it could have been far worse.

I'm now home (thank god.. being admitted would have totally bollocked this diet up) and in bed.

A new dawn in the morning my friends!

LozBoz1972 · 03/02/2020 21:34

We’ve all been there @RedDhalia - the important thing is that you’ll be back on plan tomorrow!

Onwards and upwards.

Night all x

Delly1977 · 04/02/2020 07:05

Hope you're ok @RedDhalia 😘 Sweet jesus on a camel you have done great! If I'd have been in A and E all day I would have raised the machines and eaten all the chocolate! I think it's a real positive and at least you didn't buy it yourself! It's just a blip love...if you're feeling well enough then crack on but don't be trying to do this diet if you're in a lot of pain or are unwell x

Delly1977 · 04/02/2020 07:10

@LozBoz1972 I've never had Goulash in real life and aren't overly keen on soup so it's a no from me lol! I like all the products I've had (tried in previous attempts) to be fair except the maple porridge...worse thing I've ever had in my mouth!
Tried the Cottage pie last week, its like baby food but tasty. I was on step 2 though and I think the broccoli helped it.

My fave hot food is the spaggers, my hubby loves the thai noodles x

RedDhalia · 04/02/2020 13:15

So week 4 weigh in done today - 4lb off this week. I will take that! Done 15lb in total.

After pastygate yesterday I'm back on it big time. Just ordered and paid for all of Feb stock so I have good choice.

I got the veg soup flavouring to try and cut down on the amount of brews I have and it's really quite good!!

I've tried the goulash soup and didn't like it. I also don't like the Mac and cheese however all this is beaten bu the cottage pie. It was revolting!!

I too live on spag Bol. I tend to try and have porridge, a bar, spag Bol, 200 cal meal or porridge, a bar, 200 cal meal and then salted caramel bites. Living dangerously!!

It will all be worth it in the end! X

Delly1977 · 04/02/2020 13:29

Hahaha @RedDhalia I love the caramel bites...the mint bites are nice too! My hubby said he'd sooner do without than eat the cottage pie!

Well done on a 4lb loss! That's absolutely brilliant!! X

Allysan · 04/02/2020 17:47

Well done @LozBoz1972 and @RedDhalia, Both doing fantastic!! Giving me hope too.

I’m only on day 4 and I’m feeling mega crap today. Not to the point where I’m going to give up but I feel emotional and tired so I think I’m in for an early night. I do hope this light at the end of the tunnel exists and I start to feel better.

Hope everyone else is having a good day 😊

Noushy · 04/02/2020 18:07

Hi everyone
It's good to read how well people are doing on this diet and gives me hope..
I'm on my day two and have two stone to lose and hoping to lose it by April. If I stick to Step 1A, will it be possible?
I quite like the products (well as much as you can like diet food 😂).
I'm having a bar for breakfast, Soup for lunch and one meal for dinner. I guess compare to the bar and soup the meal are very small portion 😢and I feel super hungry in late afternoon, the 6-7 hours between lunch and dinner feels forever 🤦‍♀️

Allysan · 04/02/2020 19:06

Hey! I leave my first “meal” until about midday but I’m used to that anyway because I never eat breakfast, then it’s only about 4 hours between each one. Still get peckish though especially when I’m making packed lunches or cooking tea 😫

Don’t see why you can lose 2 stone, they seem to think you can lose a stone a month. Drinking lots of water seems to be key too going on what everyone says. I’ve been drinking at least 3lt a day, sparkling is handy too

LozBoz1972 · 04/02/2020 19:28

@RedDhalia that is an amazing weigh in, well done you, over a STONE in a month! Wowzer! 💫

I’ve had an upset tummy - I had the smallest bit of milk in my tea late last night, might be that? Haven’t eaten anything all day - just drank my water and had 2 mint teas. Not hungry at all. 😳

Hey @Allysan I felt similar to that - bat through it, it does get better. Just think of the weight loss!

Hi @Noushy i found it easier after day 4, the hunger lessen, every time I felt hungry I drank water, still water, fizzy water, flavoured water, herbal tea.. Cambridge say a stone per month I think - pure dedication I reckon 😊

Delly1977 · 05/02/2020 08:33

@allysan hope todays a better day x Day 4, 5 and 11 are my worst days....I have no idea why but each time I've been on plan it's been the case. Do what you can to make it easier and you will get through it x

Delly1977 · 05/02/2020 08:35

Ooooh my consultant is getting the new fusion bars this week....can't wait! They're not Terry's....
