Hi all, does anybody want to buddy up through weight loss journey? I'm feeling really positive. I have 6 stone to loose in order to qualify for any fertility treatment.

I'm on sole source, step one. Sticking to shakes this week. Might have some "meals" next week. Might treat myself to a bar next month.

I feel like the bars could be a slippery slope
for me... I prefer cutting all solids out.

Yes I know, not the healthiest diet long term.. I have no intention of gaining it all back. It's not for everybody, please be nice :) I need a kick start.

Hi all 👋👋

I’ve not been on her for a little while, my heart has not been completely in the diet. I think the stresses of the past week got the better of me. Kids being pulled from school and all the events I had been looking forward to have cancelled. It’s just a terrible time.

However I have decided to crack on and focus on the end goal. This is only temporary and we will have again events to look forward to. I’ll kick myself if I throw my progress away then have to start all over again. This is not meant to make anyone feel like they’re making the wrong decision by putting their journey on pause because I 100% get it, I myself have had many mental battles as to whether to continue or not.

So I will be checking in every day with you guys and trying my absolute best to stick to it.

I’m still on 27lb loss with no gains which I was shocked about, aiming for my 2 stone on Friday and moving into the next stone bracket

Hope you’re all keeping safe xxx

Campervan69 · 21/03/2020 18:02

I've been disastrous the last 2-days I need to start again on Monday and I just don't see the point at the moment of depriving myself while all this terrible mess is going on.

Maddison3005 · 21/03/2020 18:07

Hey all,

I’ve still been going but struggling with motivation the last 4/5 days. I’ve done two days of step two to get me through a couple of rough days.

How everyone is keep save

M x

Allysan · 22/03/2020 15:06

Hi all

I hope you’re all ok.

Still going strong and hoping for a good loss on Friday. My other half looked at me this morning and commented how my body has changed and honestly it made me feel amazing. He sees me all the time and although he’s supportive and says all the right things and I appreciate it but this comment was different, like he genuinely saw a difference 😂

I’m trying to drink lots of water, another thing I kinda stopped doing in the past few week.

Today we are doing some gardening and although the circumstances of being at home is very surreal we are all spending quality time together. The kids are getting involved too!

Xxx

Allysan · 23/03/2020 17:52

Hi all

Is anyone else still on the diet? I’m still going to post here just to keep a diary.

Today I’m struggling, with working from home and schooling/refereeing the kids, there is temptations, but so far I’ve stayed strong. I’m think I’m due TOTM too.

From what I gather we are about to go into lockdown, unprecedented times.

I hope you’re all keeping safe and looking after yourselves. This diet is really not important in the grand scheme of things.

Here if anyone needs to chat, diet related or not xxxx

Campervan69 · 23/03/2020 18:25

I'm going to try to have a shake, a soup then a normal meal but it's been hard the last few days.

My boss I think is being really unreasonable. He's refusing to even look into the idea of paying as all all on furloughed work and talking about closing the firm down if we don't get enough work in and therefore money. He wants us all to go on shortened hours and shortened pay rather than applying to the government for this Grant they have announced. It's an utter nightmare as my husband is self employed and has no more work from Wednesday.

Plus he won't let me work from home so I've had to take unpaid leave until he's free to take over childcare.

Mexyy · 23/03/2020 18:27

Hey @allysan

How are you?
And yes I’m still on the diet and still going strong.. and nearly ending week 11..
I hope the government does put us on lockdown as so many people are not thinking of others and by us staying at home we are containing the virus..
Your right diet is not the most important thing in this pandemic but its definitely a personal choice rather than normal pressure from other things.. when your weigh in ? I’m on Wednesday and doing virtual weigh ins lol not really bothered about the measurements lol xx

Maddison3005 · 24/03/2020 13:26

Hi Guys,

I got weighed last night and had lost another 2.3/4 pounds - seems to be my weekly number!

I got two weeks worth of packs with assurance from my consultant that She can deliver to me - so fingers crossed.

Both myself and my partner are WFH, he cant stop eating so am glad I am doing 1:1 as if i was doing SW I would be eating so much for the sake of eating!!

Roll on when things are back to normal and hopefully I would have lost enough to make a different. 1 stone 8.5 pounds gone, 2 stone 10 to go!!

We can do this :) Xx

Allysan · 26/03/2020 11:25

@Campervan69 that’s so frustrating, hopefully the boss takes what the government is offering. It’s a scary time without added stresses.

@Mexyy my weigh in is Friday and it’s virtual, hoping to get my 2 stone 🤞🤞🤞 got my products being delivered to my door tomorrow too.

@Maddison3005 that’s fantastic 👏👏 I have cheated this week when the lockdown was announced, I spiralled a little. The stress I’m feeling is immense. I want normality

Mexyy · 26/03/2020 23:43

@Allysan yessss you will and look forward to it xx
I hadn’t cheated for the past 2 months and 3 weeks and last night I had some home grilled chicken wings..On weigh in yesterday I lost only 1.5 lbs which has been my lowest every weight loss in a week.. so I thought I would give my body a shock by eating some food..as my body seemed to get used to the products and hopefully it made a difference..I back on shakes today but can’t stop thinking about the wings looooolll...I guess I will know if it made any difference by the end of this week xx

Allysan · 27/03/2020 20:41

@Mexyy 3lb gone so got my 2! Loss is a loss and moving in the right direction so well done sweet. It can be disheartening though when you’ve been on it. Fingers crossed the wings kick start you.

I’m going to go for 💯 this week, it’s odd because I’ll have days where the cat food smells nice 😂 and other days I have to remind myself to have my products.

Mexyy · 28/03/2020 17:29

Loooooooooll where the cat food smells nice 🤣🤣🤣
I feel your pain..and amazinggggf news congratulations on 2 stone! Well done
Honestly it made a huge difference the wings was a shock to my body..and than yesterday I fasted and going to have my products today...super proud of myself I genuinely didn’t think I would be able to stick to the diet after I ate but thank god...I did..
Let’s do this @Allysan 💪💪💪💪 xx

Allysan · 01/04/2020 19:04

@Mexyy how are you doing? I nearly threw in the towel on Monday, I’m in such a mind battle now. One day I’m thinking f* it (pardon my french) then other days I think let’s do this!!! I need to keep on the side of let’s do this really

Maddison3005 · 01/04/2020 20:06

Hey all,

I lost two and a half pounds this week! Only three go to for my two stone.

Really struggling mentally so had a blow out Monday and now back on it! Hope your all okay and keeping safe! Xx

Allysan · 02/04/2020 00:02

Hey @Maddison3005 that’s amazing!! 👏👏 considering how crappy everything is right now you’re doing fantastic!! Xxx

Mexyy · 03/04/2020 03:34

I had my weigh in on Wednesday and lost 5.1 lbs super happy.. so the grilled chicken wings I had last week really helped and gave my body a shock..and kicked my body back into weight loss thank god..anyone who does feel like they are having a bad week..introduce a one day cheat meal of only protein and hopefully should help...I have decided that once a month I will have a cheat day where I eat chicken or beef or something protein based
How is everyone else doing ? Xx

@Allysan I feel your pain..keep at it your doing so well..and imagine all restaurants are closed so less temptations but I know it gets hard with being inside all the time...

@Maddison3005 well done amazing results..mentally it can be difficult but somehow keep yourself busy find some sort of project to do during this time and stay busy...the sacrifice will be worth it

Allysan · 03/04/2020 11:45

Wow @Mexyy what a fantastic result!! You must be very happy 👏👏

I lost 2.5 today, my first target was 2st so I’ve set my target today for another 2st. Would love to get this before going back to work, whenever that may be. I’m going to up my exercise.

Let’s do this ladies x

Maddison3005 · 03/04/2020 11:47

@Mexyy Wow well done - i bet your super please with that!!

I am on the same mind set about a cheat night, if I am then able to get straight back on it the next day then that is fine. Just keeping it to one meal and a little something (I had 4 pieces of a Terry choc orange last time). If i found that I didn't think i was able to get back on it then I wouldn't do it!!

I am still working just from home so that keeps me busy most of the day!

xx

Mexyy · 03/04/2020 13:46

@Maddison3005 💯 percent agree...I was so surprised at myself that I was able to get back straight to the diet without breaking it again..and to be honest no matter how much you loose..the main thing is your loosing weight..and that’s the goal..and if the one cheat day in a week every two weeks helps than why not...because your still loosing weight and able to stick to the diet the next day

Honestly I was super happy about the weight loss as the week before I lost the smallest amount of weight since I started...I realised also the flava beans snacks that I was raving about couple weeks ago slowed down my bowl movements which than slowed down my weight loss...I don’t recommend those 100 calorie snacks at all...xx

Mexyy · 04/04/2020 22:53

@Allysan how was your weigh in? Xx

Mexyy · 04/04/2020 22:57

OMD @Allysan I just saw your message...so sorry....well done amazing news on the loss...amazing loss...what’s your target weight?
Any tips on excercise at home ? Xx

Allysan · 05/04/2020 15:42

@Mexyy thank you, I don’t have an overall target weight, But now aiming for 13.6. I’m being very naughty at the moment and cheating so much, got a smacked wrist today from my consultant and so I’m back to it. I don’t normally exercise at all but Im so bored I need to introduce more structure to my day so I’m going to start cycling (I’ve got one of those stands you can put your bike on) and I’m going to find some YouTube videos for yoga, not that I can bend much. The boredom is encouraging the cheating so I need to take back control!

I’m deep cleaning today to keep me occupied but there’s only so much I can clean 😂

How’s is everyone else finding the lockdown and dieting?

Mexyy · 05/04/2020 19:38

Excellent..honestly the weather was Sooooo nice here down london today..literally was able to get a glimpse of it to put the rubbish out😂..I have been good so far but I have officially declared my weigh in day cheat day lol..so I weigh in my weekly loss on Wednesday in the morning and once that’s done I eat protein On that day and than get straight back to it the next day and stay strict for the whole week loool 😂
I feel like it’s the only way I can get through each week knowing I get to eat something on that day..but I have to say the soups are really growing on me..and funny thing is..oriental chill soup has a negative impact on my weight loss on me but not vegetable crouton soup...soooo weird...
Don’t feel guilty @Allysan if your going to cheat enjoy it lol..no point eating and than feeling guilty...I hate when that happens to me..the guilt eats me up more than the food causing less weight loss..
Great idea to introduce more structure and I agree there is only certain amount of cleaning you can do loll..if your into binging on any seasons or movies I can give you a good list of things to watch and keep you busy.. xx

Where about a is everyone in the UK?

Allysan · 16/04/2020 13:14

@Mexyy Sorry I’ve been silent, I decided that with my constant inner battle of whether to continue or not I was going to take a break over Easter and see where it went after that. By the time it got to Bank Holiday Monday I was looking forward to getting back to it to be honest. So I got blind weighed on Tuesday by my other half and have started again. Feels likes it’s my first week again and today is day 3 which if I remember was the start of a few crappy days.

I’m on the Isle of Wight so we blessed with a lot of sunny weather. Hope you’re ok and keeping well xxx

Newme2016 · 23/04/2020 10:26

Hi!

Is anyone doing the diet anymore? I started on Monday, and so far so good.

I have done the diet before so know what to do. Have at least 4 stone to lose, will decide when I get closer to my target. My first aim was to lose at least 2 stone by the 15th June - so 8 weeks. I think I should manage as long as I stick to it - which is the hardest thing.

I am missing food and having to still cook for the family is hard, but I am determined.

Hope you are doing well if anyone is still doing the diet!
