I started today - 2 children in close proximity & stuffing my face has left me with 3 stone to lose! 5ft3 currently weigh 13stone. Anyone wanna join the chat?

Day 4, feeling much better! Had 950 cals instead of 800 whoops but also walked 4 miles and burned 300 so I’m hoping I’ll get away with that. Have drunk tons of water. Nothing that looks like a carb. 🤞🏻

5'4 weight around 11st 8 (will weigh properly tomorrow morning when i officially start) My tops are riding up above my belly now, this has to stop! My daughter coming up to 2 so really need to set a good example and be a healthy bmi again.
Target weight 9 st 7
Aim to lose through cutting portion sizes, soup for dinner m-f, snacking only on fruit/veg and getting back into running.
I've never tried the 16:8 fast but may give it a go as like the simplicity of it.
Like others I will use upcoming social events as markers, first one being partners bday at start of Feb.

hetty i looked at Noom but like you, I realised that of course I know how to lose weight. I just have to eat far less!

Oh May I join too please? I'm 5'9" and 13.5 stone. Turn 40 end April and so so want to be 10.5 stone by then.

Last time I lost the baby weight was through a combo of slimming world, ZUMBA, and Clean9 fasts every few months. Got to about 12 stone (which is where I look pretty good but still have lots of flab on my bones) This time I'm going to be more focused and try to make it to the ultimate 10.5stone goal!

Is it too late to join? I’m 5’8” and about 15 stone...haven’t weighed myself for a while because it’s too depressing! Ideally I’d like to lose 4 stone.

I’m watching what I eat (interested in 18:6 as well), drinking loads more water, and doing dry January so that’ll help. Regular yoga and I MUST MOVE MORE aarghghgh

Change of plan for me today - last minute decision to change from slimming world to my fitness pal. I really fancied a smoothie and know that they're a no-no on SW so here I am! Grin

Oh well, I've lost 3lb since starting which is good! I've stuck to my MFP allowance (1450) every day and been running twice.

Morning folks!

12st 7.5 this morning (starting weight 13 stone) so half a stone lost in the first week which I'm very happy about!

Fitbit is charged today so I'm gonna get my steps in and going to start logging everything on MFP. If anyone is on either of them and wants buddies then please let me know!

First weigh in of the year for me - 13st 11 - which would be fine if I was 6ft but sadly I am 5ft 5...

Going abroad for a family wedding in 16 weeks and planning to lose a stone by then. I will then only be overweight and not obese 🤦‍♀️

13 stone and half a pound this morning so thats 4lb off so far. Really pleased. Everytime I think of snacking I keep thinking of all the lovely compliments I'll start getting after I've lost a stone. Shallow I know but its working as motivation so far!

First day back at work for me today and I am disgustingly sedentary and stuck at a computer because I’m not teaching. I’d at least be on my feet if I was in the classroom. May try to sneak off earlier for a long dog walk.

Wow, some great successes already - Well done!

I was a little bit more down this am - but I'm waiting until Thursday for the weeks total. I wasn't great at the weekend - I'm sure I went over my calories but I'm back to normal today and feeling good.

I'd like to join you all please if it's not too late. Weighed myself today and I'm 13st11lbs, hoping to get to about 11st. Intending to actually stick with tracking my food intake on My Fitness Pal, in the past I've tended to not log over indulgent days then give up entirely for a while.

I’m also tracking on mfp. Really like the app. Except it won’t let you do predicted loss etc if you’re on 800 cals as it says it’s unsafe 🤦‍♀️

I just keep thinking how I thought I was heavy when I was 11st...can’t believe it!! Now I’ve got to fight to get back there 🙈

Premenstrual today so will weigh in a few days when water weight has gone.

Finishing today on:

1233 calorie intake - but burned 556 so still in a deficit of 523 and 10,032 steps done.

According the the MFP predictor (my favourite bit). If everyday was like today I'd be 11stone 9 in 5 weeks. And from past experience the predictor is usually right - at least within a pound or so. So that's another bit of motivation there

Welcome all newbies & well done for the AMAZING results so far!

My scales turned up today & im 13.7. Disappointing I’m half a stone heavier than I thought but trying not to let that deter me!

Today I had 3x vegetable fingers (v low in fat FYI!) rice & salad for dinner.

I really fancied something sweet after so had one of those salted caramel squares by fibre one... only 90 cals & it was delish!! So that’s my lot for today.

Had a really stressful day with the kids so had to really try not to comfort eat when I got home. Glad I didn’t give in!
