Hi all, well done all you losers.

So I had my two week weigh in this morning- 6lb lost, happy with that.

Been enjoying my C25K but got a very sore heel at the moment so trying to rest now until the next planned run on Sunday.

theweightlossone · 18/01/2020 09:18

Happy Saturday everyone! Anyone up to anything exciting? Saturdays are always a quiet chill day in this house after the kids class in the morning.

I’m back to a full 7lb loss since NYD. The fluctuations are so irritating I just want a steady loss! Will stick with it.

Hannahthepink · 18/01/2020 10:01

Another 2 pound loss this week (4 in total). Delighted with that as it has been very sustainable effort wise.
Hoping for another 2 pounds next week to bring me back to my starting weight from baby number 2!

louloubelleme · 18/01/2020 12:28

Well done everyone on their losses! And if it's fluctuating, keep going!!
I went to the cinema this morning and usually I would have loads of popcorn, hot dog and sweets but just had a low fat cereal bar for 60 calories and a Diet Coke. It was the hardest yet I think. But I'm having a cheat meal tonight so I'm really looking forward to it! Just hope it's all worth it Smile

theweightlossone · 18/01/2020 12:32

I’m going real crazy since it’s Saturday and having a slice of 400g bread with my homemade lentil soup! Hope I can get back on track after this blow out.

SunshineAvenue · 18/01/2020 15:36

I've gone even crazier theweightlossone and have just eaten a fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookie. 225 calories and it was fucking delicious. I've factored in to my calories and after dinner I'll even have 100 calories left. It was totally worth it, I ate it 'mindfully' as they say, savouring every bit rather than shovelling it in whilst watching the TV. Have told myself have one, really enjoy it, don't feel guilty and leave it there. There will be other cookies on other days so stay in control.

Previously I would have had 4 or 5 of those over the course of a day weekend, that's 1000 calories without even noticing.

Sjanish33 · 18/01/2020 16:27

I went mad too and had some batch bread made into french toast - First bit of big carb in two weeks and 420 calories for two slices of eggy bread that made me feel like I'd swallowed a whale :(

I'm realising bread doesn't suit me at all.

Well done on the losses!

lboogy · 18/01/2020 21:09

Down .5kg for a total of 2.5kg so far. I'm going on holiday tomorrow and I know all my efforts will be undone. I have no discipline on holiday 🙃

ListenLinda · 19/01/2020 12:03

I’m a week behind so my first weight in is tomorrow. Bit nervous as I don’t think I have lost anything, despite being under calorie goal all week and drinking lots more water. DH weighed himself yesterday and he is down almost 6lbs, the git

Chocolatemice · 19/01/2020 16:51

I suspect my birthday has not been helpful...

theweightlossone · 19/01/2020 17:01

Hope you all had a nice weekend and try not to worry if you’ve got off plan a bit! Life is too short people.

I’ve eaten loads of crap this weekend but have still stayed under my calorie allowance so hopefully should be ok.

SunshineAvenue · 19/01/2020 17:48

I've definitely eaten off plan today though at the moment still under calories (just) but haven't had anything since lunch. I guess it's soup on the menu later.

Today is the first day in almost 3 weeks that I'm feeling a bit low about all this. I suppose the honeymoon period is over and reality has kicked in. I've still got a long way to go. Hopefully I will perk up tomorrow.

Jeds55 · 19/01/2020 20:41

Hiya all, went over calories yesterday but have major lurgy now (feels like tonsillitis) so can barely eat today, feel like crap but every cloud eh. Can barely drink either which is annoying me as normally drink loads of water.
Second week weigh in tmrw. Will be really happy with 2lbs but fear I'm a bit dehydrated so any loss will be fake anyway.

Jeds55 · 19/01/2020 20:42

Good luck those weighing tmrw @ListenLinda men are so annoying to diet with it comes off so quickly. My partner actively trying to put on weight Angry

Jeds55 · 19/01/2020 20:45

@SunshineAvenue hopefully the new week brings fresh optimism. Know what you mean though, seems like such a slog sometimes and so easy to undo all the hard work. If we can stick through Jan and Feb think of how much we can lose then it'll be Spring and always so much easier in the nicer weather

SunshineAvenue · 19/01/2020 20:58

You're right Jeds it's one day. I've come in at maintenance calories today. Well so what! Not going to throw the towel in as per. Will have a fresh start tomorrow and give myself credit for not saying a total fuck it to today and eating another 500 calories because 'might as well'. I deserve better.

theweightlossone · 19/01/2020 21:50

I’m at 700 calories and I’ve had cake, chocolate ar Frosties today Shock

Quemug · 19/01/2020 21:57

What a positive response Jeds, thanks for that, you’ve made me feel optimistic again too. Hope you get well soon.

Sunshine, don’t worry, tomorrow is another day. You can be proud of what you’ve achieved so far.

Good luck with the week ahead everyone, we can do it!

Happyralphymummy · 20/01/2020 11:28

Lost 3lbs this week. Been doing the exercises from the ultimate shred 30 day challenge but just tracking calorie intake on my fitness Pal rather than using the accompanying meal plan.

Lily1234567 · 20/01/2020 12:36

Have loved following this thread but been a bit of a lurker so this is my first post!

I'm slightly apprehensive as I hurt my ankle on Saturday and have a marathon on Friday eeek

theweightlossone · 20/01/2020 12:39

Another 3 on! I think I need to just weigh weekly as the fluctuations are really upsetting me even though I know it’s natural.

theweightlossone · 20/01/2020 12:56

I think I can feel a difference in my work trousers!!

Aprilcherry04 · 20/01/2020 12:57

Sw 13st 5lb
13/1/20 13st 4lb
20/1/30 13st 3lb
I'm a little disappointed but have to remind myself it's a marathon not a sprint

Sjanish33 · 20/01/2020 14:08

Well done @Aprilcherry04 @happy... they are great losses - @theweightlossone - I have tried to stop looking at the scales so I have one-week weigh-in at the same time. If I sneak a look which I did last week and I'm up it really does get me down. My weight can go up 2lbs in one day from morning to evening so I'm just ignoring that and capturing the once a week values! I would also say measurements are so much better I started dieting in August - I have lost 9 inches from my hips!! Now that's the thing that motivates me :)

louloubelleme · 20/01/2020 14:10

I got weighed at my weekly weigh in today- but I did cheat and get weighed early on Friday.
Total weight loss in week two: 7lb
SW: 12 stone 10
Week one: 12 stone 7lb
Week two: 12 stone 0

I can't wait to hopefully see 11 stone something next week! Well done everyone, no matter what we lose or gain- it's so bloody hard so well done for taking back control. Smile
