@RedDhalia sure with 2 inches of your waist you must have lost on scales too. Even if you don’t that’s a really good start.

RedDhalia · 12/01/2020 22:58

Thanks @katzP

I've had a rough few weeks with multiple emergency spinal surgeries and I'm still full of anaesthetic, meds and unable to exercise, so my ribbon, (I put it round my waist each morning - always after a wee ) is keeping me going.

I just don't feel lighter and I'm doing this to try and help my recovery and my back long term.. hopefully I'll be happy after weigh in tomorrow 🤞

WhatALearningCurve · 13/01/2020 07:59

Weigh in day

12stone 7 so a loss of 0.5lb

Like I've been posting - my weight has been all over the shop this week so I'm still happy with that. Going to be more organised this week so I don't run out of low cal options by weekend (I think that was my biggest downfall this week).

Still happy with the loss because a) with how my body's been acting I could have easily gained this week and b) I can feel the difference in my clothes.

New week and new start!

Trewser · 13/01/2020 08:35

2 lbs back on. Still, 3lbs less than jan 2nd overall.

Today's plan - nothing until 2.30 except water and coffee. Then soup and a tuna salad. Not sure tonight.

KatzP · 13/01/2020 08:42

5lb off so now 13st 1. Pleased with that and aim for next week is 12st something.

@RedDhalia that sounds tough. I expect not putting on in that situation is hard so loosing inches is amazing!

Happyralphymummy · 13/01/2020 09:08

Lost 2lbs and 1% body fat this week. As I've still been enjoying Christmas and birthday treats I was pleasantly surprised to have lost at all. Went to the gym twice so that must have helped.

nibdedibble · 13/01/2020 10:34

Fasting till 12 and simultaneously prepping tonight’s dinner - bad combination 😬

I’ve had such a lethargic weekend but came on this morning so that explains it. Hoping to shed a lb or two in water retention!

OkPedro · 13/01/2020 10:36

Great results ladies 💪

Starting weight 12st 13
Today 12st 11

I’m on a mission this week. Exercise every day and I’ve cut out sugar. I’ve found it hard to find a sweetener I like (I drink a lot of coffee) I bought splenda last night and I actually like it! 2 calories per teaspoon 😁

SonjaMorgan · 13/01/2020 10:49

Congratulations everyone. Yesterday I had my cheat day. I still tracked calories and had about 2000. The weigh in today went better than I could of hoped for.

SW 13st 1lb
CW 12 at 10.5lbs

It's a fasting today for me today. I am feeling motivated after seeing the numbers this morning.

Trewser · 13/01/2020 12:04

Starting weight: 13.4
Today: 13.2

Sparklingbells · 13/01/2020 12:21

Startin weight 6th January 15.5
Today 15.1

I know the majority will be water weight but its good motivation to keep going. Not noticed any change in my jeans but my stomach does look less bloated which is good. Planning on upping my activity levels this week- doing 3 miles on the treadmill instead of 2- my bastard galaxy smart watch dosent count my steps properly while im on it tho which is very annoying.

weehoo · 13/01/2020 14:54

start weight (02/01) - 84.4kg
today - 82.4kg
that's 4.5lb off

and a couple of NSVs...
Body fat down from 43.1% to 41.6%
Heart rate down from 76 to 69

Well done everyone!

Ihavenoidewhatsgoingon · 13/01/2020 15:45

Hello everyone

Could I join? Current weight 78.7kg and I want to get to 59kg

Keep starting diets - then lose motivation / have a dinner I have to go to / feel down / insert any excuse

Am hoping joining this will help - if I can come speak to you rather than scarfing down a biscuit it should help!

Am doing dry Jan and 10k steps a day

theweightlossone · 13/01/2020 16:09

329 calories for me so far today on homemade soup for lunch, a protein snack box thing and some apple.

Having cottage pie tonight and will just have a small portion with lots of veg as would like to finish the day under 1000.

Absolutely dreading weighing on Wednesday. If I’ve gained it’ll really knock my confidence.

louloubelleme · 13/01/2020 17:00

Hi, could I join please.
I’m also looking to lose 3 stone. I’m 5ft 4 and weighed 12 stone 10. I have been dieting for a week now and have lost 3lb so currently 12 stone 7lb. Just been cutting the calories down. It’s been so tough iv never give in a few times but I’m determined to drop the weight

ListenLinda · 13/01/2020 17:33

Hi all, joining in as this thread has inspired me. I weighed myself this morning, weighing in at 14st 9.5lbs 5ft 6. Giving me a BMI in the obese category! Biggest I have ever been and DS is 8months old now so no more excuses. Usually a firm advo for SW but can’t justify the cost, so MFP 1300 calories per day and trying to go Low Carb.

Well done on all your losses so far, keep em coming it’s keeping me motivated!

SonjaMorgan · 13/01/2020 18:31

@ListenLinda please tell me your username is inspired by the video of the young boy trying to get cookies.

Fasting day today. Feeling better than last week so that's something.

MurielTheCamel · 13/01/2020 19:24

Had an unfortunate incident with a packet of biscuits last night so have done another 24hr fast today - went a bit over the top when I broke the fast again though. Just need to calm that down a bit and the rest is very doable.

ListenLinda · 13/01/2020 20:19

@SonjaMorgan yep! 😂 good guess!

Usernamesarenotmyforte · 13/01/2020 21:49

I’m purposefully not weighing myself at the moment as I’m mid period and retaining water like mad. I’m worried that if I don’t see a loss or even a gain I will lose any willpower I have.

RubySlippers77 · 13/01/2020 21:59

@Usernamesarenotmyforte I'm the same during TOTM! Even if I stick to a diet plan and don't mainline chocolate like usual I'm still bloated and heavy by the end. It takes a couple of days for things to go back to normal.

Well done to everyone on the losses! I lost 4lb this week, down to 13st 7. Obviously pleased with that but am still firmly in the 'obese' category Confused - aiming to be down to 12st by the time we go away for a family wedding at the end of April. It's only 1.5lb or so per week; doable but need to keep plodding on (and ignore all the Easter chocolate!)

KatzP · 13/01/2020 22:00

@Usernamesarenotmyforte that seems like a good plan. If you know you’re like that over your period then wait. I’m similar. Always seem to gain a few pounds day before my period. As it’s a bit irregular right now it’s good to have a sign.

Usernamesarenotmyforte · 13/01/2020 22:24

Glad it’s not just me! Well done everyone, you guys are doing amazingly which is great motivation for me.

Sjanish33 · 13/01/2020 23:38

Well done everyone some fab weight gone! I had a good day today (I'm also TOTM and felt bloated all weekend but I seem lighter today - Weigh Day is Thursday for Week 2 - I consumed under 1000 - had a chicken breast and brocolli and mushrooms stir fry for dinner - I have eaten so much brocolli on this diet I think I'll turn green :)

NSV tried on a dress I bought before Xmas which was tight and it fits, also tops and bottoms are getting looser!

Ihavenoidewhatsgoingon · 14/01/2020 05:57

What are you all doing when you are low on calories but “starving”?

I know I’m not going to starve but having less calories means some days it’s sooooo hard!
