I started today - 2 children in close proximity & stuffing my face has left me with 3 stone to lose! 5ft3 currently weigh 13stone. Anyone wanna join the chat?

Managed to get out for another run tonight and I was faster than Monday night which felt pretty bloody good. Must be all that weight I’m losing, eh? 😂🤣
Fighting the urge to weigh myself to frequently. Going to try and wait until Sunday morning but I won’t be too mad if a cave in on Saturday.

@theweightlossone and @Jeds55 much the same if I’m not careful! OH is working all weekend so it’s just me and the toddler most of the time. A terrible combination for rationality and reason...

@Usernamesarenotmyforte well done on the running. I did couch 2 5k last year and managed to get up to 5k but stopped because I wasn’t losing any weight at all.

I think weighing daily is ok sometimes! I was but have stopped because I know if I’ve gained again it’ll ruin my willpower. Will weigh weekly from now on.

First week done. Not been as difficult as I thought. I am not looking forward to the weekend though. Too many temptations as @Jedds55 said. Right here are this week's stats:

2 Jan: 13st 5
9 Jan: 13st 2

I'm doing MFP, avoiding as much refined sugar and processed food as possible, no alcohol. Trying to increase my activity levels on days where I can. I'm aiming for 1-2lbs loss a week. I tend to give up after the third week or half an stone stage (as on 5'3 this shows). But it's not enough any more. (I might need some butt kicking from 23 Jan....)

Hey, can I join you all please? I know I am pretty late but hope it would be ok. I am 5'8" and 13 st 1lb as of today, so would like to lose 3 at. I will be doing intermittent fasting, cutting out the evening snacks, MDP on the 5 days and c25k. I will be taking a day off each week but will still calorie track as I can quiet easily eat family sized crisps and chocolate without a struggle.

Well...1.5lbs down yesterday. A drop in the ocean but I'll take it!

I seem to be doing something like 15:9 and I'm making sure I fill up on water and veg. Please let it work!

Hello I’d like to join please! I’d like to lose 3 stone, have tried WW but it’s too much flapping for me so MFP is the way forward, set it for 1500 a day but also going to be starting CrossFit (first PT session tonight!) so depending on calorie burn might make slightly higher, will see how I feel.
B - 2 poached eggs and toast
L - tomato soup with sun bites
D - Pinch of nom chicken satay and rice
S - fruit and a kitkat

I’m astounded for the first week but I think it’s because I was snacking every single night Blush.

Made it back to the gym this week for the first time in ages too so in a positive frame of mind today.

@theweightlossone that's so what I'm like, so easy to undo all the hard work. Have already looked at the menu for tomorrows meal Blush
Run pre work and resistance band work out at lunchtime. I'll do the same Sunday and try not to eat / drink too many calories tomorrow. That's the plan

So after an incredible start to the week my body feels like its shut down today. My little boy is teething and full of a cold and as a result I've been awake since 2am and got 3 hours sleep last night. He's now in bed asleep and I'm going to go shortly (to try and get a few hours in incase he wakes up again). Only had 700 calories today and don't feel hungry (too tired I think) but making myself eat so that I don't feel sorry for myself tomorrow if it's another bad night.

Im actually making myself go over my calories because I'm meeting friends whilst my sons at his dads tomorrow so I think if I eat over today, the guilt tomorrow should stop me eating crap (fingers crossed)

Day 5 done - supposed to have drank 2.5 litres of water. I have managed precisely fuck all today.

So sorry @Trewser, we lost our cat a few years ago & I was absolutely devastated! Hope you’re ok.

I have been STRUGGLING today! Seems I’m not alone ^

Trying to power through it, jacket potato with cottage cheese & salad for dinner. Rice cake for a snack. Then a low fat HOt chocolate because I was craving some sweet badly! Maybe because it’s Friday?!

OH just came home with a kebab & chips Angry

I’m going to crawl into bed soon so I can sleep & stop thinking about bloody food! Hopefully tomorrow is an easier day 🤞🏼

@redDahlia I struggle with drinking water too but it's supposed to really help. I had about two litres of black tea :)

Trying to ignore Friday here and the bottle of wine whispering "drink a glass of me" - this is probably my biggest struggle - if I have wine, I'll want to snack. Anyone else missing the comfort of a glass or two?

I may go to bed early :#

@Sjanish33 me! I love having a couple of glasses On a Friday night with nice bread, olives, cheese and other crap. I am feeling sorry for myself and plan on getting an earlier night with a cup of tea and a book.

Today I have had:
B- Toast X 2 with butter.
L- pitta with cucumber, tomato, spinach and a little red pepper hummus.
D- 1 veggie sausage with a small scoop of mash and lots of cabbage.
I had a small milky bar tonight but no other snacks.

Roll on Sunday, it will be my cheat day and I will have a glass of wine withy Sunday roast :)
