Day 3 done!

Usernamesarenotmyforte · 08/01/2020 20:19

@Lostintransfixation I’ve managed to persuade OH to be vegetarian this month. I’d like to stick at it beyond that but I’m not sure he will. I feel so much more energetic for it though!
@WhatALearningCurve that sounds a bit crap, hope the evening has improved for you!

KatzP · 08/01/2020 21:30

Day 3 done here as well. Finished off with a boxing class which helped me rid lots of aggression. Feeling good so far but expect the headaches from lack of sugar will kick in tomorrow.

Doubleyouexwhyandzed · 08/01/2020 21:44

Weight static last two days. Am keeping focused on long game and hoping it drops again soon. I read about the whoosh effect so am hoping for a whoosh. 🤣👍
Week one weigh in tomorrow 🤞🏻
The week has gone really well. Mostly managing 800 cals and less than 50g carb/day. Have done several 4 mile walks and a little gym session tonight so fingers crossed for a good first week weigh in in the morning.
Could do with a poo for luck 🙈

theweightlossone · 08/01/2020 21:50

Worried I shouldn’t be having the cake/chocolate I’m having. It’s within my calorie allowance though.

spacewitch99 · 08/01/2020 21:54

Me! Peri-menopausal, 5 ft 1 and 11 and a half stones....

MuMuMuuuum · 08/01/2020 22:01

Signing up. I've been yo-yo dieting for years trying to lose the baby weight but made a resolution to do it and keep it off in 2020.

5'5 - 11 stone 9lbs. Goal weight is 9 stone 4lbs.

Had 3 healthy eating and active days so far.

Ferrisbuellersdayoff · 08/01/2020 22:29

I did an exercise class today and refused to go to the corner shop at 9pm when DH asked me to get chocolate. Win and win.

KangaFandanga · 08/01/2020 23:19

Starting slimming world tomorrow. Absolutely dreading weigh in. I restarted the healthy lifestyle on Monday after basically a year and a half off. 2 x Zumba and 3 days eating well. I so so hope the poundage is not too awful.

MurielTheCamel · 09/01/2020 07:51

Weigh in day

SW 2 Jan 14st 13.6lb
CW 9 Jan 14st 8.6lb

Very happy with that - next goal is 14st 7 and then to be under 200lbs and then to be under 14 stone.

Sjanish33 · 09/01/2020 08:41

Weigh in day
SW: 89 kg
Week 1: 87kg

(think I made a boo-boo translating to stones one calculator says I'm 13.7 and one says 13.9 - either way just over 4lbs down and I'm thrilled with that!)

Sparklingbells · 09/01/2020 09:11

Can i join in pls?
Height 5ft 6, size 18 bottoms and 16 top

SW 6th jan - 15st 5.8lbs Blush

Been doing a combination of mfp, slimfast and walking 2 miles a day on treadmill. Weighed this morning - 15st 2.8. Not a massive loss so far but enough to keep me motivated.

Bogoffrain · 09/01/2020 09:22

2.01.20 13.2
9.01.20 12.12 (-4)
Hooray! I’m chuffed as just been eating mindfully and using the ww app, I’ve not been super strict and still has pizza and chocolate. I’ve just not been guzzling wine and eating family size bags of crisps. My aim is 2lbs a week from now on.

nibdedibble · 09/01/2020 10:13
Sad Just weighed myself, finally. I am 15st 7lbs. Fifteen and a half stone. I've never been heavier. So my goal is four stone, not three.

Oh well, onwards....Things can only improve! I know what to do!

Lobsterlife202 · 09/01/2020 11:18

Mee!!

13st 9.5lbs (according the the SW weighing scales on Tuesday) and looking to slim to 10stone 7. (so just over 3 stone). Ideally with 2 stone of that by May for my holiday and the remainder by Xmas.

Hoping to get married in 2021!

I need a weight loss friends :(

weehoo · 09/01/2020 11:20

Anyone else tracking their testing HR as they lose weight?

I find it almost as rewarding as the weight loss!

Pic shows mine for last few days - red line is when I adjusted my food intake. I expect it to go down considerably more over the next few weeks.

I've been tracking mine for a few years now and it's been really interesting to see how it gets impacted by life events/illnesses (pregnancy, chemo, anaemia, sleep deprivation, cutting out sugar etc)

Anyone looking to lose about 3 stone?
Oksunny · 09/01/2020 15:22

Weigh in day
3lb loss, I’m now 13.4 👍🏼
Possibly lost another 1lb but didn’t weigh myself for the first 2 days as waiting for scales.
Well done everyone 👏🏼 great progress.

4lb down. I've eaten 761 calories today and feel stuffed. Walked a fast 40 mins. Don't feel deprived.

APatchyTomCat · 09/01/2020 16:58

Well done all you losers, some great losses 👍🏼

I'm due to weigh tomorrow, but I'm dithering about whether to just do a monthly weigh in (I can get a bit obsessed by the numbers at times)

Have been keeping to 16:8 but I've had a bit of extra food today as I've walked 6 miles and still have my second C25k session to do this evening 😬

nibdedibble · 09/01/2020 17:12

Did 5k on the exercise bike plus a core yoga session and have only had a bit of leftover pasta and a glass of kefir so far today.

I’m determined to shift this lard!

SunshineAvenue · 09/01/2020 17:37

Well done everyone, great progress.

Hannahthepink · 09/01/2020 17:49

Hope it's not too late to join, I seem to be in the same group as lots of you, 5'6" and starting the year at 13.9 stones. I have a 3yo and a 4mo, and 3 stone of baby weight is making me feel unfit, unattractive and bleurgh.
I am doing Jennis workouts, 10000 steps and breastfeeding to burn calories.
I am not snacking apart from a healthy planned snack in the afternoon, and cutting down portion sizes.
Timescale is 52pounds in 52 weeks!

Jeds55 · 09/01/2020 19:50

Some great losses there Star it feels so good to see the weight moving on the scales
@WhatALearningCurve I hope your ex bring a dick didn't affect the diet
@Lostintransfixation I'm a veggie but actually been vegan since Monday
Hope everyones days have been good. Headed towards the weekend danger zone for me, anyone else ok in the week then have blow outs on weekend? When I was skinny it's a habit I got into and find it hard to shake. Got a kids bday party then meal out Sat so know it's not going to be pretty Confused

Sjanish33 · 09/01/2020 20:11

According to MFP I have done 775 cals today and burned off 150 - I'm now doing a combination of my VLCD meals and one low cal, low carb dinner and I'm surprised today was still below 800 and I feel satisfied. Somedays are obviously better than others. I did 4k on the exercise bike and some gardening too and I'm bursting with energy (which is so unlike me)

I'm hoping this is a good sign for the start of week two.

Well done on all the great losses. And welcome to everyone starting this week.

theweightlossone · 09/01/2020 20:55

@Jeds55 I’m terrible for ruining it at the weekends. I could easily eat in one day at the weekend all the calories I’ve deprived myself of during the whole week and then it’s all been totally pointless. So frustrating.
