I’ve been living off Brie and chocolate since December began and I’ve put weight on. Currently 9st4lbs and I want to be 8st10lbs.
Anyone with me!?

Going to try calorie counting but open to suggestions. I currently eat far to much crap which is the root of the problem.

Im awful today so far.
B- Skipped
Lunch- slice of toast with tea and a pear
Then it all goes down hill......
Snacks include- a large hot chocolate along with Half a box of chocolates ( Can you tell my AF as arrived 🙈🙈)
For dinner I have planned roasted Chicken with steamed broccoli, carrots and green beans.

On the plus have also managed 2 litres of water, hopefully and 1 before bed and got out a walk.

@Octopus37 no wonder you feel so hungry.

Alpen bars and a chocolate will stack you about 180 calories and not even touch the sides.

If you don’t like eggs or traditional breakfast things then have other food! There are no rules that say breakfast has to be specific foods.

You need protein and some slow release carbs so ham, poached chicken, cottage cheese, smoked salmon, full fat Greek yoghurt, any beans or pulses. You can have a bowl of leftover bolognaise!
Just watch the portion size and it’s fine and much more filling.

I failed to be sensible yesterday (cake, fudge and chocolate orange Blush) but felt I woke motivated today so have run and gym and eaten well.
Have previously skipped breakfast then post exercise been so ravenous I’ve eaten crap so today I had porridge with water and felt full until vegetable soup and falafels at 2pm despite a ten mile run and some yoga.

Several cups of tea and water and will have mixed beans and veg for tea then banana custard.

My danger time is evening so really hoping I can avoid the crap...

Weigh in was 59kg today but think I was a bit dehydrated post run so suspect it’s nearer 60kg. I’ve loitered between 59 and 61kg for two years and at 5ft5 it makes a size 12 snug and I can’t wear any of my size 10 clothes.

So I’m aiming for 56-57kg but not sure I can sustain it now I’m 49. Seems so hard at this age when it never was before.
Depressing.

My danger time is evening too telling. I can do easily double the calories I eat in a day by snacking on chocolate, cereal or homemade popcorn in the evening. Generally I eat healthily all day and then have a glass of wine in the evening and it all goes wrong!

Yes, I am changing my breakfast. Have found in the past that the thick oat cakes from Tesco fill me up, maybe a couple of those and a few almonds) guessing its about 300 calories, so more than I would want for breakfast, but better than starving. Telling it like it is, you are very similar to me in relation to dress size/weight, although I am a bit heavier than you at the moment. Always seems that everyone else is a size 8 at 9 stone, whereas for me that is a big 10/small 12. Also aiming to get back to a size 10, think that will b e about 8st10ish for me, that is my aim. About to have Bolognese with pasta (made with 5% steak mince) for dinner. Just had a highlights hot chocolate this afternoon, not perfect but did the job. Day by day. Finding this support thread really helpful.

A much better day for me today, but I feel pretty tired and a bit dehydrated

Ran 7k this morning and came home to 2 boiled eggs and a slice of seeded toast. Been out for the day and made a tikka masala, broccoli and rice mid afternoon. With a coffee and a bar of choc afterwards

I have 350 calories left so my go with PB on toast! I feel so hungry!

Back to work tomorrow so food prepped and ready to go 👊

Failed to plan my lunch today and had a tuna/cheese toastie and an apple, dinner was roast pork, celeriac, carrots and broccoli. Doing fairly well with no pudding, no snacks and no rubbish. The 8pm cut off is helping with no evening grazing.

Day 4 - did not plan at all today and has been not enough substance/protein or veg!

B - 2 egg omelette with red onions and tomato, slice of toast
L - tuna mayo toastie
S - chocolates and some crisps

And I'm out of calories! Gonna see if I can hold out the evening but usually I have loads of healthy food for same calories so I'm struggling a bit!

No exercise today but hit 10k steps (daily target, managed every day so far)

I stuck to my meal plan today except a small chocolate mousse (yoghurt pot size) after lunch. No booze or snacks so better than yesterday!

I've brushed my teeth to prevent evening snacking. 😬

I’m just under 1400 today. I’m not hungry though - wonder if my body is just getting used to it!?
I was quite under with a sweet tooth an hour or so ago so I had a 100cal hot chocolate.

Weigh in in the morning! Who’s in??

@Tellingitlikeitisnt body shape is funny isn't it... I am slightly shorter than you, at 5'3, but at 60kg I am a size ten, occasionally eight.

I've been for half a swim today (managed 25 lengths in between supervising dc in the kids pool), and eaten semi-healthily. The big tin of quality street is dead to me, as it has been cleared of all the ones I like. I'm looking forward to term starting and getting back into the swing of things.

octopus and telling - that’s exactly the same for me. I’m 5ft 4” and at 9st 10lb I’m a big 10/small 12 and especially around the tummy.

I’ve been logging into MFP and have 1200 a day. Not been an awesomely healthy weekend but not been too horrifically over my calorie quota - although only because I ran on Saturday and did a spin class today.

I’ve been having a protein shake for breakfast. I have the Protein World vanilla Slender Blender (3 scoops) with 300ml oat milk - which comes to about 250 calories. I like eggs and porridge and stuff but this is really convenient for when I’m rushing out the door and as it’s protein heavy I don’t get hungry until lunch (well...midday - I’m always an early lunch person!)

I would like to join the group. I have 3 stone to lose and I need support from same like minded people. I’ll post my weight on here on Tuesday morning as that will be my weigh in day. I’m struggling on my own.

I stated back doing MFP yesterday ( late new years resolution)
I'm allowed 1,540 calories per day plus whatever I gain from exercise.
I've been good yesterday and today so fingers crossed.
I'm 10 sone 10 pounds at the moment.
My initial goal is 10 stone, so to start I have 10 pounds to lose !

Welcome Designerenvy and Cazmo (waves).

I started off today quite well as I skipped breakfast, walked the dog and by lunchtime had just had a coffee and lots of water. Then it all went to pot and I gobbled a Sunday roast and ice cream at a friend’s. Two boiled eggs for dinner in a vague attempt to redress the balance. Still no booze though which I’m hoping will help (bet it won’t),

I’m up for a weigh in tomorrow. I intend to do it fully undressed in the hope that just removing my padded bra will help me lose half a pound Wink

139.6lbs today

Not actually sure what my goal weight is yet, maybe 134? Going to try and shed fat then we can see where we're at!

Was 9stone4lbs.

Now 8stone12.6lbs!!

I know it’ll be mostly water and bloat at this stage, but feeling mega motivated now!

Just weighed in 9st91/4. but haven't had that much exercise this weekend as haven't been feeling great, ok now though. Need to be good the next couple of days as really would like to be 9st73/4 on Thursday for my Birthday.

Eaten like a pig for two weeks, this morning I weigh 9st 13.5 and I want to get back to 9st.

@MeanwhileAtNumber98 you are exactly the same starting weight and target weight as me (weighed in this morning!) i think going in to the 10's will do my head in so I am as close to it as can be now!

Back to work today and a 12 hour shift prepped for

B- 2 weetabix and SS Milk
L - chicken tikka (no rice) and broccoli
T - chicken fajita (no rice / wrap) and salad

I've got 500 calories left so probably fruit and milk in lots of coffee

Plan to drink 2 litres of water today but there will be no exercise!

Yes, starting today I would like to lose 10lb. I have weighed myself on the wii but can't remember how much I weighed exactly but I'm roughly just under 9 1/2 stone and want to be nearer 8 1/2 stone. For me, it's not just Christmas that has put on the weight, I lot weight before a DisneyWorld holiday in October 2018 and then we had Christmas 2018 followed by my dad dying in January 2019 and a horrible year following that. Now, there's no more excuses and I want to go back to feeling happy in my clothes. Not quite sure how I'm doing yet. Will cut out anything with sugar and carbohydrates for sure. Have done slimming world in the past.
