I’ve been living off Brie and chocolate since December began and I’ve put weight on. Currently 9st4lbs and I want to be 8st10lbs.
Anyone with me!?

Going to try calorie counting but open to suggestions. I currently eat far to much crap which is the root of the problem.

Also well done to toaster, dontfundhate and wineloffa - can't keep up with everyone! I haven't lost anything at weigh in so sticking at 5lbs down. I had bread several times over the weekend (toast after DH dinner debacle and roll with soup yesterday and I feel a bit bloated. I'm coming to the conclusion it just doesn't agree with me (which is rubbish because I love it)
Onwards!

Get anything tempting out of the house Suzie and eat up ar mealtimes. Stopping between mouthfuls gas slowed me down.
I am down 1.5lbs! Not massive consider I massive amount I had been taking in but I'd be up I know if I'd continued so I'm on track. Lovely meals ahead today.

I was UP a fucking kilo this morning. I'm raging, raging! I know my diet wasn't perfect but it really wasn't that bad??? I'm off to starve myself now :(

I'm trying to calorie count and I really upped the exercise classes last week. I did 5 spinning classes and one HIIT. I'm hoping it's maybe just water retention as my body is trying to recover from the exercise??
Week 1 I lost 1.2kg, did less exercise but was stricter with my diet.
I seem to have undone it all now. Attached is my intake and calories for last week

Twixes I think it could definitely be water retention following exercise - I've noticed the same thing before and it has been about the same amount too (2-3lbs). Then a couple of days later it suddenly goes. Hopefully, it's the same for you.

Twixes I definitely carry more water after a run of hard exercise. How do you feel in your clothes, do you feel leaner? For that last bit of weight the scales can be really misleading because other fluctuations really throw it out.

@Twixes an average of 1200 should def have seen a loss, how frustrating! Must definitely be some water retention trickery, or (bit grim tmi) food still sitting in digestive tract! Hopefully you'll see a big loss on the scale next week to compensate.

Thanks everyone. I was sure I was feeling leaner so fingers crossed it's just a blip. It's certainly given me a kick up the arse!

So far today I've had:

B: skimmed milk coffee, small prune juice, 2 eggs
L: homemade tomato soup
And my tummy is grumbling...going to have a slice of brown bread soon

I am hoping to be slightly down tomorrow. So far today I have had bran flakes and skimmed milk plus some skyr yoghurt, a whole tub of tesco three bean soup and a protein shake with a small banana and a bit of peanut butter powder. I am saving more calories for dinner than usual because I am doing Thai salmon Noodle soup and, having input the light coconut milk, salmon and noodles it's definitely going to be a higher calorie dinner than the 500 I usually aim for. Have got about 100 spare for a snack if I need it.

I am needing to get some extra fibre in, the portion control is leaving me with less bulk than usual I think! Must focus on the water intake too.

Well, I've kicked off the week with a fast day so have had an omelette for lunch and a bowl of homemade veg soup for dinner. I think I'm getting used to it now as am finding the fast days a lot easier .

I’m struggling today. I’m on 1150cals today but most of it is snacks. I’ve got an exam tomorrow and I’m tired and I just really really REALLY want some toast with jam. I haven’t had bread since I started. Also my tummy is really swollen and bloated as I’ve been doing a bit too much after my op and I just feel so fat!! Ridiculous I know after I’ve lost weight.

Someone told me today after me saying I’ve lost 9lbs (friends, I’m not just telling everyone!) that they could see absolutely no difference at all and that I look the same as I’ve always done. I don’t know if they meant to be mean but it’s upset me and I’ve just been thinking what’s the point!?

Anyway sorry for the pity party!! Need to get a grip! Today’s eating:

B - actimel and banana
L - homemade chicken and pepper wrap
D - tomato and cannelloni bean soup

S - muller corner, small (weighed!) piece of kids pizza, VERY small Lidl choc bar (70cals), and apple.

Total - 1150. It’s never a round number like that usually!

Going to have a shower then see if I still want the toast! I’m having a galaxy hot choc too for 100 calories
