I’ve been living off Brie and chocolate since December began and I’ve put weight on. Currently 9st4lbs and I want to be 8st10lbs.
Anyone with me!?

Going to try calorie counting but open to suggestions. I currently eat far to much crap which is the root of the problem.

I’ve had an ok day. Trouble is I’m not really feeling as hungry as I used to, so I feel like it’s not working! Is it just my body getting used to it? Has anyone else been feeling like this?
Today’s meals:

B - actimel (27) banana (91)
L - porridge with raspberries (190), muller fruit corner (176)
D - chicken wrap (424)
Snacks - cup of tea (40), Milky Way crispy rolls (128)

I’ve got 323 left but I’m not hungry! I want to eat everything in the house but I’m not actually hungry so feel like I shouldn’t..!?

Not a great day for me...

B - (homemade) granola and SS milk
L - Chinese chicken thighs, salad and rice
Snack - choc biscuit
T - chicken wrap (from Mac Donald's 🙈)

I'm thirsty and hungry and been doing bedtime since 7! I want to go downstairs for a cup of tea, chocolate bar and power!!! I think I have 100 calories left 🙄

TheHoundsofLove · 15/01/2020 20:35

Thanks! I’ve got high hopes of being like a whippet by my birthday... 😂
Keep going jelly - bedtimes can be the absolute worst!

WellErrr · 15/01/2020 20:39

Keep the strength jelly!! Hope bedtime is done and dusted soon!

I’m just having a small weighed portion of low fat yogurt and granola as I was still starving! Still 120 under :)

Ahhh thank you!!! Just had my brew and 2 cookies! I'm happy now (enjoying the silence)

My son is 2.5 and taking ages to settle! Need to get that sorted like!

Twixes · 15/01/2020 22:36

12km run?! Well done *@Hounds! *

Mediocre day for me, I ate malteasers and had a skimmed milk cocoa with artificial sweeteners Blush. No exercise either...

Tomorrow's another day and all that, plus I've a spin class, third one this week!

WellErrr · 15/01/2020 22:39

Twixes galaxy hot chocolate is 100 calories a cup and it’s lovely!!

Cheeky midweek weigh in......after hardly losing at all last week I’m now 8st11lbs!! Lost just over a pound.

Down from 9st5lbs on Boxing Day so I’m v pleased! Still got big swollen saggy tummy from surgery but fingers crossed that will go over the next few weeks 🤞🤞

WellErrr · 16/01/2020 07:25

Not sure why I didn’t lose last week and have this week as I’ve done nothing different - but I’m not complaining Grin

That sounds good about the Galaxy hot chocolate. I fell off the wagon last night cause I went out for a belated Birthday celebration with my friend, so yesterday ate:

Breakfast, 2 oatcakes, 7 almonds
Lunch - Sandwich with 2 slices of seeded bread and 2 Babybel lights
Snack - The rest of a bag of Graze
Then:
Bottle of Passionfruit cider, large plate of Nachos with chicken, some (4 slices) of Halloumi cheese with Guava jam,
A pint and a half of Aspall's
Standard bag of Maltesers

Not surprisingly a pound and a half up this morning, but had fun so that's the way it is. Back of track today, I've just had my usual breakfast.

toasterstrudle · 16/01/2020 07:38

@TheHoundsofLove that run is fantastic!!

@Bobbi73 I am also impressed you managed to throw leftovers away, that's my downfall.

Forgot to post tues, so here's 2 days worth:

B - 2 eggs and slice of toast
L - skipped
T - baked potato with tuna mayo
S - 2 biscuits, some sweet popcorn at cinema (shared and didnt finish - a new record for me!)

Yesterday
B- 2 eggs and slice of toast
L - tuna baked potato w/ salad and 1tbsp mayo
T - chicken stew with broccoli
Snacks - 2sq dark chocolate, 10 cal jelly

toasterstrudle · 16/01/2020 07:38

@WellErrr well done on the loss too!!

Patchworksack · 16/01/2020 07:54

Well done @WellErrr!

Patchworksack · 16/01/2020 07:58

Blimming boring food day for me yesterday - I had leftover beef stew for lunch, then got home late from work to find DH had defrosted very subtly different beef stew from the freezer. I suppose beef and veggies is a fairly balanced diet but three meals on the trot it is beginning to get boring!

Octopus37 · 16/01/2020 08:03

Meant to say back on track

Patchworksack · 16/01/2020 10:04

Good for you octopus nothing wrong with relaxing the rules for a special occasion as long as you climb back on the wagon the next day.

DontFundHate · 16/01/2020 11:58

Well done everyone! It's really motivating me reading about all your healthy eating and exercise and also to hear about people still living their lives and eating out and treating themselves now and again, life is a balance :)

Today's meals

B - overnight oats, berries
L - Sweet potato chips, green beans and melted cheese (30g half fat cheddar)
D - cod and chorizo butter bean stew

DP always makes us a lovely meal on a Friday night as it's his day off, this week I've managed to be under my calories most days so this combined with eating strictly Friday day should make up for a very tasty meal tomorrow :)

WellErrr · 16/01/2020 12:25

Well I was planning another nice lunch out today and going to allow myself 200 extra calories - but I’m now starting to feel ill 😭😭 just slight stomach ache and nausea, really hope it doesn’t develop!
The kids have all had the squits but been otherwise fine, hope I’ve not caught anything horrible :(

TheHoundsofLove · 16/01/2020 12:52

Well done Well - I'm fully expecting being below 9st to be a truly wondrous thing. Please tell me that it is! Grin I'm sorry you're not feeling brilliant - hopefully it won't develop...
Well, I'm on a fast day today and have come up with a really tasty, low cal lunch - a whole packet (12) hard boiled quails eggs with celery salt. And it's a really beautiful day here so went out on my bike for an hour earlier.

Oh and I wanted to remind everyone to keep measuring yourself and trying on too-small clothes - it is so motivating and there can be a really noticeable loss of inches even when the scales aren't really moving. I had a try-on this morning and loads of things that I thought would still be too tight actually fit really well now! I can confidently say that I am now a size 10! Grin Which I can't quite believe as a year ago I was squeezing into a size14/16 (probably nearer to a 16 if I'm truly honest).

MyuMe · 16/01/2020 13:24

Not doing too well.

Did fine on Monday but cake etc in the kitchen at work on other days! Blush

DontFundHate · 16/01/2020 14:21

@WellErrr hope you don't fall ill

@TheHoundsofLove definitely agree with this. I've been measuring my waist every week and one week I didn't lose any weight at all, so I could easily have given up as I had worked hard and no AF to blame either, BUT I'd lost 2 cm from my waist which was amazing! It's so motivating actually noticing the physical change as well as the numbers on the scale
