Nobody talk to me about food tomorrow. Sad I had been thinking I'd give the cleanse day a miss but I think I'm going to do it. Losing this fat isn't going to happen easily so I may aswell just shut up and get on with it.

There was bloody cake at work too. And it was a Macmillan coffee morning thing so when I said no thanks, I got the "it's for charity" guilt trip. I put money in but didn't have cake.

I'm not going to lie. I'm hungry. I'm having a bath before my last shake, try to stretch it out a bit as my next proper food will be Friday lunch time!

I'm 42 too!!

I wondered around Tesco earlier and had my binge planned out, crisps, pick & mix and cakes. Somehow I got through without giving in but it's just. So. Hard!! @whatthewhatthewhat Don't tempt me as I fear I'd never stop if I went to McDonald's!!!

@whatthewhatthewhat oh god I hadn't thought of it like that!! Sob. I'm so fucking fed up of fatness though,, and being bloody useless at not eating less. I mean it's not a difficult concept is it? So why is it so hard??

The cleanse day, it's bringing in intermittent fasting. But I have to say I find it a bit extreme. And I think it will be worse tomorrow as I'm training. I might go and get a nice fruit pot from m and s , to have instead of the 1/4 of an apple I'm allowed as a snack.

No!! Have cheese! Fruit will just make you hungrier! You need fat and protein to starve off hunger! It's barbaric they'd give you half an apple - it just kick starts your insulin levels and make you want more food...

And it's not easy. They've manufacturers food to hit the sweet spot (perfect ratio of fat and sugar - and a nice dopamine hit) we're like fat drug addicts... and vlcd's are our cold turkey :-(

Just the weighted again to cause myself more anguish and I've put another 1lb in a hour even though I've had nothing to eat or drink.....my scales are a c**t!

Yeah, I weigh everyday too. I'm finding it ok. But I am nibbling, a lot. Too much! Figure with so much to lose it won't make a difference and the less I have to lose then I can tighten up the eating. Honestly, whatever gets you through the day, has become my motto!

Also, it took me five years to put the weight on, I have to accept it won't go overnight 😢

I weighed this morning too. I've lost another lb which doesn't seem enough somehow! Still, cleanse day today, and I'm ok so far. Bloody freezing. I've had one small coffee. And a couple of the USA genix "snacks" which are like overgrown tablets made from malted chocolate horlicks powder. Yum. Hmm

I'm just about to finish day 4. Had 3 shakes and have got chicken, mushroom & courgette kebabs for tea for 200 kcal. Has been surprisingly ok today. I've just ordered a few of the 800 fast diet shakes to try for next week as they only have natural sugars in. I'm finding the taste of sweetness in Exante really off putting. Bloody hell though this is an expensive diet seeing as we aren't eating Shock
