@whatthewhatthewhat I'm just doing an online shop for keto. I just know I'll enjoy it and find it easier. What have you had today? I've got loads of meat, cheese, eggs and bacon coming.

Still feeling ropey. I think I'll continue with a shake for breakfast or lunch, as I think they are low carb high protein anyway.

whatthewhatthewhat · 06/10/2019 19:44

I've had...red wine
More red wine

A keto fry up
Chicken tomato and mayo

Big fat natural yoghurt and spoonful of natural peanut butter
More red wine
The rest of wine...

Lol

Morning all!

Good luck to those weighing in this morning and let me know how you get on!

I'm 100% focussed on exante this week following a weekend off (and feeling rubbish for it!).
First goal, keep to plan until 26th Oct when I have a spa day planned (how very MN of me!) as I want to feel "ok ish" in a swim suit....

We got this 👍🏻💪🏼😊

whatthewhatthewhat · 07/10/2019 08:20

I shall sheepishly admit that I put a pound on. I drank like a fish!

Back at it today!

Good luck all

7lb loss for me this week. Scales haven't moved since Friday though so I should have a whoosh soon. Hope everyone is doing ok.

AllGoodDogs · 07/10/2019 08:29

Morning all. First week back on slim fast and I'm 4lb down. I'm aware a lot of this will be water weight (my jeans are still tight!) but I'm still pleased. 8lbs to go to target, would like to lose a little more to give me some wiggle room afterwards. Plan to do the next 3 weeks if I can on SF plan then calorie count. Maintaining has always been my problem. I put so much effort in to shifting the weight then take my eye of the ball, eat normally and BAM, the next time I look I've put on half a stone (or more).

feellikezerobucks · 07/10/2019 08:51

@AllGoodDogs and @zobalina77 great losses, well done!

@whatthewhatthewhat never mind! We're on it this morning (although I'm already thinking "shall I start tomorrow?"(hence why I'm fat 🐷)

whatthewhatthewhat · 07/10/2019 09:09

@feellikezerobucks I just ate a bagel

I'll be starting tomorrow

Lol

feellikezerobucks · 07/10/2019 10:54

@whatthewhatthewhat was peanut butter on the bagel.......🤔

whatthewhatthewhat · 07/10/2019 11:58

Lol, no. Peanut butter is way to healthy!

@AllGoodDogs and @zobalina77 - well done, very inspiring!

I've been MIA this week... had terrible stomach/bathroom issues again, to the point it was impacting on work. I ended up taking a break. I've been eating at maintenance so no loss, but no gain either, which I'm pleased with!

I did work out again last week and felt great. I'm going to try doing 800 calories of food this week and not focus so much on the shakes.

We're all lighter than when we started! Stay positive!

boredboredboredboredbored · 07/10/2019 17:34

Hello all. Well I finally weighed in....5lbs over two weeks. I'm really happy with that as it took me 6 weeks to lose 3lbs previous to that.

I have around 19lb more I'd like to lose. I get married 1st Feb next year so plenty of time. Had a crap day yesterday ending up at McDonald's 🐷. Back on it today, x2 shakes and a small evening meal. I'm not low carbing though so it may be slower.

breakfastpizza · 07/10/2019 17:50

@boredboredboredboredbored Woo! Five pounds is brilliant.

whatthewhatthewhat · 07/10/2019 18:27

Well done with loses.

@boredboredboredboredbored seems to have been the weekend for slipping up

@breakfastpizza tummy trouble doesn't sound fun :-(

whatthewhatthewhat · 07/10/2019 23:24

Can someone please enlighten me as to why the fuck we self sabotage? Especially since you just end up feeling ultimately worse?

Sigh

😢

OP posts:

@whatthewhatthewhat I try to remember that food corporations have spent millions (billions?) to make processed food as addictive and pleasurable as possible. There are entire departments of food scientists working 24/7 to keep us eating. We aren't just fighting our bodies, we're fighting an entire food system designed to make and keep us fat.

@breakfastpizza Thank you im chuffed!

@whatthewhatthewhat I don't know, I've spent years self sabotaging it's a horrid feeling. The only thing that stops me is thinking how crap I'll feel after. It doesn't always stop me but sometimes it doe.

zobalina77 · 08/10/2019 07:54

I very nearly self sabotaged last night. We've had a dominos open near us and my 11 year old is desperate to try it. I very nearly caved, but thought how crap I would feel about myself after it. Glad I didn't as the scales have started moving again this morning. The problem I have is I can never stop, once I self sabotage I think I may as well have something else now and I'll start again next week.
