This morning I hit 16st I am so angry at myself as I worked hard to get down to 9st 10lb three years ago and I've messed it all up by mindlessly eating through boredom since leaving my ex.

So today I've dusted off my old mfp account and I'm starting again. I dont plan to eat diet crap just stick to my calories eating whatever fits in them and trying to walk more. Anyone want to join me?

@Lwmommy
Slimfast would be so hard for me, I would feel like I was completely depriving myself of anything nice whatsoever. I am still just over 17 stone and I think I would be reasonably happy at 14. I am also 5 feet 8 and I think 11 stone is considered ideal for that height.
I am having to set mini targets as it all seems impossible. My next target is to lose 7 pounds mid May ish.

I'm doing the 123 slim fast just for a week to try to kick start.

So you have 1 normal meal up to 600ish calories

2 meal replacements - shake or bar

3 x 100 calorie snacks which can either be their bagged crisps/pretzels/choc bars or something else which meets that calorie count

I'm having the shakes and may switch to a bar for breakfast just for variety.

I need to lose this week or I know I'll give up. Been stable for 2 weeks and need to see the number go down!

Just to give an idea of snacks under 100 calories to feel less deprived

A 170g tub of low fat Greek yoghurt is 107 calories.

100g of these meringues is 340 cal, you get 25 meringues in a 100g pack so I can have 2 meringues with half a tub of Greek yoghurt as a evening snack/pudding.

My favourite low cal snack is Muller light choc & caramel layers desserts, only 69 KCal, I usually add a bit of fruit, it feels like I am eating something yummy.
The hard thing also is my 12 yo has crisps and treats in the house, lots of Easter chocolate etc so temptation is everywhere.
I like meringue where do you get them?

Those meringues were from Aldi last week, lemon and black cherry flavoured
