I do full choice as I have a gargantuan appetite and could easy eat 150g of pasta for supper, which I think mught be too much. At least I know where I am with points. So far, have had 2 bits oof toast, 2 ham rolls and a lager . Resisted the pringles which were also on offer.

Now what shall I make for dinner?

collisionfrances · 09/07/2007 16:29

I know dolly....I could eat a whole chicken but not sure that is the point!!

Will do points from Wednesday!

katepol · 09/07/2007 22:41

Sorry to gatecrash this thread ladies, but does anyone know the point level for Rocks orange cordial?

I am having probs keeping to 18 points per day as I only drink squash, and it it 1 -1.5 points per glass. I wondered if Rocks was different, or if there were any lower point squash tyoe things out there (that aren't 'sugar-free' as I figure those are bad for different reasons).

Ta if anyone has the time to find out for me..

DollyPopsOut · 09/07/2007 22:50

Kate - don't know this brand but can work it out for you if you give cals aand sat fat....

katepol · 09/07/2007 22:58

Ooh Dolly, thanks..
Don't have a bottle about the place at the mo, will come back when I do. It is Rocks organic orange codial if that helps? It def has sugar in it though .
I wish I liked water, would make this much easier. I only have a stone to lose, but it seems very slow to shift atm.

whoops · 10/07/2007 18:24

Hi everyone,
well I put on 2lb this week which I don't know whether to be surprised or not!!
I have had a crap day today and ate a banana and waltnut cake & chocolate brownie from boots and had burger king at lunchtime so have used all my points up by 3pm!
Oh well will have to go to the gym to burn it all off now!

lisa34 · 10/07/2007 20:16

Hi everyone, had my 1st weigh in this morning managed to loose 2.5lbs. Very pleased with myself

BernieBear · 10/07/2007 23:45

Yeh Lisa - go you!

Oh whoops - burger king God I love bg, love it so much.

Carmione · 10/07/2007 23:50

I gained 2lbs this week but it was my birthday at the weekend and I went out for dinner two nights in a row and there was a lot of wine involved.

BernieBear · 11/07/2007 17:53

So how is everyone doing today? Are we hanging in there or is the silence because we are all quietly munching through a whole packet of fun size crunchies??????

I have all the ingredients for oven roasted veggies with fish tonight - just maybe not the enthusiasm to make it!

DollyPopsOut · 11/07/2007 18:59

I am doing OK thank you. Not brilliant but not crap either. I missed the weigh in yest as DD1 was poorly, but am going to go next week.

I have had the roasted veg thing 2z and it is YUM-ola! Fantastic recipe, thanks for that. DH out tonight so having pasta with lots of tomatoes and chilli. REally want a glass of wine or 2 but promised myself I wouldn't drink in the week.

Tummy looks a bit flatter though so maybe it's having an effect at last. I need to be brave and get weighed though. Does anyone else go to meetings? We don't get charged for ones we missed - is that normal?

Hope all are doing well. XXX

DollyPopsOut · 11/07/2007 19:00

Bernie, even thinking about fun size crunchies is making me salivate. I think they would last about 2 mins though. Is it me or do others have a rampant sweet tooth with BF? I was always a savoury girl before i had children and just ate wine, cheese and crisps as my treats

BernieBear · 11/07/2007 19:18

Think it is pretty much across the board. I remember sweet things featuring quite heavily when breastfeeding. Sadly, on beginning to stop, the wine returned with avengence and the sweet things didnt leave . Then I started smoking (only outside and at the bottom of the garden!) again which I have now quit again and the need for sweets is bigger than ever. Oh dooooooooom, I'm dooooooomed.

BernieBear · 11/07/2007 20:02

Okay, rnbsmum around???? How do I know when a cod fillet is cooked - am doing the roasted veg thing with fish on top and after 10 mins the fish still looks uncooked. Any ideas?

collisionfrances · 11/07/2007 21:36

Bernie...til it is fully white and flakey!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost 3lbs this week at my first weigh in!

I really didnt think I would because I have done the core plan and didnt think it would work.......but it did!!

Am doing points this week and will count everything starting tomorrow!

BernieBear · 12/07/2007 08:02

Yes, get that now. Left it a bit longer. Very nice dinner and an excellent low/almost no pointer - more points more treats!!!!!! Thank you

Congrats Collision. Well done.

whoops · 13/07/2007 21:40

sorry everyone been a bit awol on the diet front
have the munchies but being good and having some skinny cow ice cream!
the 2lb on should have been a kick up the arse to stick to my points properly but I seem to be struggling
Well done on 3lb off Collision

michaelad · 14/07/2007 19:56

what's the difference between the core plan and the points one?

whoops · 14/07/2007 21:51

THe points plan you have a certain amount of points (I have 26) per day but on the core plan you can eat what you like of certain foods then have about 20 points or so for the week for extras. I try to stick to the points plan but I seem to have strayed a little and not been counting

collision · 16/07/2007 10:16

Come on WEIGHWATCHERS ladies!!!

It is monday and the start of the week and we need to be good.

so, today I have had 30g sugar puffs and a cup of tea and coffee with skim milk and a banana.

Well done me!

I met a lady in Sains on Saturday and she told me she was doing WW. Last September she was a size 18 and now she is a 12 (and her jeans were too big! )

She had lost 53lbs on Weightwatchers!!!!!

whoops · 16/07/2007 16:20

Wow that's brilliant collision!
I am trying to be good but all these nasty foods keep jumping out at me
I'm out for a curry tonight as my friend is having a fundraising night so god knows what will happen at weigh in tomorrow!
Oh well if I expect to gain I won't be disappointed!
I am going to have a really good week next week and really watch my points now too!

whoops · 17/07/2007 19:44

Well amazingly I lost 1lb! am pleased but need to work hard to keep weight off! I'm having night off from the gym and a little bit of chocolate tonight then being strict with myself from tomorrow!
How is everyone else?

BernieBear · 17/07/2007 19:55

Sorry have been down with what appears to be flu since Friday, although am starting to feel a little better today. Haven't found the scales, but haven't eaten either so hope it will be good news. Am off to bed now, once ds stops screaming. Will let you know when I weigh myself. Good luck all for this week.

collision · 19/07/2007 09:55

1.5lbs I lost yesterdy which is

4.5lbs in 2 weeks!!

am doing core plan this week

huffpuff · 19/07/2007 21:09

OMG!! I forgot i had started this thread!

I still havent managed to join WW but am going to next week.

Honestly, is it easy to follow? I work PT and always struggle with evening meals and end up falling at the first hurdle. What sort of things do you guys eat for your evening meals?
