You can eat fruit and veg inbetween meals on the core plan and you have 21 pts per week for treats.

whoops · 04/07/2007 21:16

I'm counting points but I have just been on a long walk to burn off what I ate at lunch time so my halo is shining once again

BernieBear · 05/07/2007 08:28

I can hardly see for all these shining halos! Mine sadly slipped yesterday. Ds is away for a week and I am missing him madly, ended up drinking too much wine and eating way too much yesterday! . BBBBUUUUUTTT back to it today, with two, one hour walks and plenty of low point foods.

I might have a look at the core plan out of interest.

michaelad · 05/07/2007 09:26

God, so envious of all these wonderful things you get to eat while I'm on this flippin' VLCD. Must really ditch it and switch to my local WW group.

Is it actually "allowed" to not reach your healthy BMI of 25 or whatever it'd be at your height? I'm actually quite comfortable weighing a bit more, so I'd only be looking at losing 2 stone.

whoops · 05/07/2007 10:47

Michaelad I think you can set your target I am supposed to have a maximum weight of 10st for my height but I wuld be happy getting to 12 stone!

Celery · 05/07/2007 11:20

I'm having 0 point soup today

Making it taste nicer by roasting the veg in Fry Light first and then liquidising them in some stock. Yummy!

michaelad · 05/07/2007 12:02

whoops, at 5ft6, 12 stone is what I'd be aiming for too. That would be a little over 1 1/2 stone to go from where I am now.

Flumpybumpy · 05/07/2007 13:42

I've weighed in and I have lost 4lbs this week yippeeee

FB x

Carmenere · 05/07/2007 13:51

Oh well done that is fab
I've just had salad with prawns and fat free dressing for lunch, not fabulous but very few points.

mads1 · 05/07/2007 15:04

Hi Sorry to crash this thread but i haven't had a response to my question on another thread and was wondering if anyone here can help?????

"Hi WW friends
My ques is... do you feed your toddlers the same meals as you have?
The reason I ask is, I'm worried that if I fed my dd(26 months old) the same meals as dh and i then she won't be getting enough fat and calories. So I am finding myself making her different things. What do you think?"

any advice would be appreciated!

Celery · 05/07/2007 16:15

My three tend to have the same as us when we eat together ( mostly at the weekends ). Roast dinners, pasta bakes, casseroles, that sort of thing. I adapt them to make them WW friendly, although I roast potatoes normally for everyone else and just have boiled pots for me, or roast some seperately in Frylight. During the week, the kids tend to eat seperately anyway, as DH doesn't get home until after their tea time.

I think as long as you add extra things into your toddler's diet, it's fine. Full fat milk, yoghurts, cheese. I have a problem with keeping full fat cheese in the fridge though - I find it very hard to resist!

Celery · 07/07/2007 16:38

How's everyone doing?

katybump · 07/07/2007 20:27

bad bad bad how about you?

chippy for tea tonight mmmmmmm . had to i was starving

BernieBear · 08/07/2007 15:24

Been a bad girl the last week, ds returned on Friday (3 days early!) so everything went out the window.

However will be back in the saddle tomorrow with avegence - no doubt hitting the scales will help!

whoops · 08/07/2007 21:40

Hi everyone, I've had a bad weekend points wise I have no Idea what I have consumed but I think most would have been the alcohol

katybump · 09/07/2007 07:31

Today is my new start . i'm going to stick to my points whatever happens . Wish me luck

BernieBear · 09/07/2007 09:26

Okay, well after a hideous week I have lost a l pound! Yahay! God how lucky was that! Anyway, back to it from here.

Quick question on prawns - if I am using them in a stir fry/curry, should I de frost them first or can I put them straight in?

Celery · 09/07/2007 09:32

Defrost them first, but you can do this really quickly by running them under cold water for a couple of minutes.

I stayed the same this week, but it's TOTM so I was expecting to.

DollyPopsOut · 09/07/2007 09:32

May I join you please? I am a fan of WW but have fallen off the wagon and bit and been stuffing for 2 weeks. So, fresh start and all that.

I am currently BF DD2 and am allowed a whopping 30 points a day. So far, I have lost 12lbs but I reckon I have put a few of those back. My meeting is on Tues so I will find out how many tomorrow. I reckon I need to lose about another 1 1/2 st. The last 1/2 st is probably all in my boobs though so that may have to wait until I have finished BF. DD2 is 16 weeks today so that won't be for a while.

rnbsmum · 09/07/2007 09:44

Have had a whole week of bad behaviour and have abandoned point counting as it was too depressing. Luckily I maintained despite this(can't beleive it) so Monday is a whole fresh start.

BernieBear · 09/07/2007 09:46

Thanks Celery.

Welcome Dolly. Good luck for tomorrow. There is another mum on here breastfeeding and doing WW. Think she may have a few questions for you. No1putsbabyinthecorner - I think is her name.

BernieBear · 09/07/2007 09:47

Ah rnbsmum - thinking of trying your fish receipe this week

rnbsmum · 09/07/2007 09:54

Cool berniebear. Let me know how it goes. I thought about the recipe and realise that if you use squash not sweet potatoes you'll need to cook it for longer without the fish.

collisionfrances · 09/07/2007 12:05

Am doing the core plan but not sure how I will lose weight on it!

Breakfast was a huuuuuge bowl of RKrispies and sk milk.

A banana

For lunch DS and I are having egg and beans and mushrooms.

I want to lose 2 stone for December.

Will I do it?

BernieBear · 09/07/2007 13:59

I'm not sure about the core plan as never done it. But sounds very tasty. Hopefully someone else will be a long soon that can help.
