I've just been a got weighed I lost 8lb this week although I had been ill last week!! so I'm now to 33lb lost in total now!
Other treats are
Jaffa cake pods the ones with about 6 in are 2.5pt,
curly wurlys are 2.5pt

I am really determind to work this flab off this time as I have done ww too many times not even reaching the 10% mark!
I'm really enjoying it and also really noticing the difference now too!
One of my colleagues asked me if it made me want to eat more or less when I have a good loss like that but it doesn't make me want to do either just eat the same as it had become a way of life for me know, I may feel like exercising more though!!

Wow well done Whoops. I'm going this evening and I've been on holiday for the past two weeks so I am not too hopeful. If I have lost 3 lbs in the past 3 weeks I'll be happy as I have had a few slip ups

I lost 3.5 lbs which is great because I have drunk wine a lot over the past couple of weeks(I was in Ireland). I am feeling really enthusiastic as I now feel that I can do this gradual loss thing. I am feeling so much better about myself even though I have only lost half a stone so far. The mental buzz of actually just doing something for myself is addictive and is getting me through the temptation(and if I give into the temptation I just eat less/exercise more the next day)

No idea what I weigh but would like to be 10.5 stone if possible.

Am 36 and getting a funky haircut on Monday as I dont want to be fat and frumpy at 40!

How did I get to be nearly 40!!

Basic tips - stick to your points religiously and weigh everything that passes through your lips. Drink as much water as you can stomach, it really does help. Exercise! That's it really.

Well Carmenere - that is great. Glad to hear you are feeling good about yourself too. Always a bonus!

Collision - Welcome . As for tips pretty much what celery said. Also try and enjoy many "free" veggie dishes, make new ones up, try new ones. It is great. Also (and I have never done this but always wished I had) do your measurements. There may be weeks that you might only lose 1/2 lb or not lose anything but on measuring find you have lost inches. Always an encoragement. Treat yourself too. If you have points banked or have done plenty of exercise use these points for a treat - whatever a treat is in your book.

I am thinking of trying rnbsmum fish recipe tonight.

I just ate a sandwich and didn't think about the diet .. any idea how many points in a Starbucks smoked salmon and rocket sandwich ..

it was a treat for DD after being so good at hospital and with paed this morning .. she likes the cheese and marmite melty paninis

is that a good enough excuse?

sorry i dont know. can i join you? had a baby 9 weeks ago, lost 2 stone since then and now im stuck. i havent lost anything for 2 weeks so im back on weight watchers with a vengence. i will wear my skinny jeans again

Oooh twiglett that sounds tasty. I guess you could base it on: 2 slices of bread, one portion of smoked salmon and rocket with spread. Around 5pts??? Who needs and excuse!

Sorry Twig but I bet it was more than 5 points!!

For a capp and a muffin at starbucks (or megabucks as I like to call it!) we were told today it is 17 points!!!!!

OK...I have joined and am doing the core plan for the first week. So tonight we are having Tuna and Borlotti Beans with pasta.

And I can eat as much as I like with salad.

The core plan looks quite good and I am aiming for a 3lb weightloss in the first week.

Was shocked at what I weighed but I was def not as shocked as some were!

I've got a cold and pmt and have had a disastrous couple of days. I'm just not in the right frame of mind when I'm feeling crappy. Ah well, I'll get back on track tommorrow (or maybe the next day ).

I haven't dome too well today either! I've had the day off today and took dd to Ask for lunch! she hardly ate anything and I hate leaving food in restaurants although as I left I noticed someone had a doggy bag to take home

I always do points because I find it impossible not to snack between meals, which your not supposed to do on core, are you?

I get like this every month, as good as gold for the rest of the month - major fall of the wagon for a few days just before TOTM. I kind of write this week off every month. Ignore me!
