Fibre overload, hopefully that doesn't end in disaster Grin

Dinner was soy bean spaghetti with 2 bacon medallions & pesto - tasted pants

Finishing with a nature valley sweet & salty nut bar when dc are in bed Grin

Win win on the Fitbit wreck
Sorry to hear of disappointing M&S food it's costly so should be worth the money

Today was strength day at bootcamp

I have to admit it was yellow sticker M&S, so it could have been worse😉

Happierwithouthim · 23/01/2019 20:44

Still though

I am also having to almost entirely avoid bread (well, anything nice, I.e. crusty or seedy or garlicky) because I can’t stop either. I bloody love bread. It’s worse than chocolate. I can eat a giant amount of chocolate but I can also have a small bit and then stop if I’m trying to be careful. But not bread.

Stuck to the plan today so far, salmon, broccoli and cous cous for dinner and then Something treaty with my syns. 14,786 steps so far, not too shabby! Weigh in is tomorrow night.

I’m going to try that noodle soup when I can, just don’t fancy schlepping the Kilner jar thingy to work in my back pack. So maybe for a day wfh.

My work trousers are virtually new but too big!

WreckTangled · 23/01/2019 20:50

Sea I reckon a Tupperware/systema thing would work just as well! Just looks pretty in a kilner Wink

I would be pretty annoyed if something from M&S wasn't nice it's v expensive.

Happier I've also ordered some lo dough. Only two though. Definitely going to do pizza not sure what to do with the other one I saw you can do brownies?! Might peruse the website for recipes.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/01/2019 20:50

Shite steps as WFH. 7k only.
Protein way over to make up for earlier in the week.
182 calories over due to inputting tuna pasta bake issues and finally caving to sweet craving. 50g Kelly's honeycomb ice-cream.

I've book marked bosh though to try their vegan recipes as I was looking at the book the other day. Will try a few free ones first. Jam really rates them.

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/01/2019 20:53

Remind me not to follow you the loo happier.
YY to bread sea another of my weaknesses. Yeah on the body change, boo on the too big, new trousers.

Walk to and from work tomorrow and Pilates so will get back properly on track.

ChristmasSeacow · 23/01/2019 21:10

Wreck last week I threw balsamic vinegar all over my desk at work in an elegant arc, thanks to my Sistema leaking HmmGrin

You macro people... how much fibre do you aim for? I just read an article on the bbc website saying that adults should get 30g per day - women average 17g. They had examples of what you’d need to eat in a day to get to 30g and it was a lot!

ChristmasSeacow · 23/01/2019 21:14

Ps any of you regulars want any M&S trousers in an 18? One pair of black, still got labels, and one pair of grey, worn 3 times? Medium length. Slightly elasticated at the back of the waist, which I didn’t realise till I got home! 😂 happy to post on x

Wolfcub · 23/01/2019 21:19

I’m just watching Tom Kerridge make banana choc ices and I want one

Unescorted · 23/01/2019 21:23

I have had a lot of standing about on platforms today. I do live an exciting life. I don't have a fitbit so I have no idea how much I shifted from one foot to another in an effort to stay warm. And do these count as steps?

I had to have the obligatory croissant for train journeys and then the people I was meeting bought in sandwiches / crisps & cakes for our lunch (it was a long long meeting).

Ggreengrass1 · 23/01/2019 21:46

Crusty white bread with butter and jam would be yum right now....luckily none in the houseGrin

Not2bObvious · 23/01/2019 22:17

Funny enough I don’t over do it with bread, I generally have 2-3 slices a day. That being said there’s a world of difference between a bog standard whole grain pan and a crusty baguette. I might be more tested then....
First day under cals, and now I’m in bed my tummy is talking to me, but it can growl away. The kitchen is closed

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/01/2019 06:14

25g of fibre for me. No to the trousers. Could you get them swapped in store?

Walk to and from work. Gonna have to get over myself and wear a hat and have hat head at work.

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2019 06:32

Getting geared up to go on the treadmill. Slept straight through from 10.30 til just before 6, that’s really good going for me. My average is coming down nicely too so feeling encouraged to get moving😊

WreckTangled · 24/01/2019 06:56

Morning. First Fun Fitbit fact: my heart rate is higher when trying to squeeze into my jeans than it is when I'm struggling with tricky side planks in yoga Grin

Not got a fun day today so will try to avoid anything unhealthy. Dinner is veggie sausages with cauliflower cheese so will need to be extra good.

Justanothermile · 24/01/2019 07:16

Good news on the Fitbit wrecked.

Yesterday.
Peanut butter on toast, banana.
Left over spinach, potato and cauliflower curry (small portion), hummus and pepper sticks. Couple of chocolates.
Oven chips and soy burger, mayo (DH and Dd had Shepherds pie but not enough for me and I get in very late from running).
Some walnuts, small handful of crisps, two falafels, few grapes.

Ran 9.5 miles with the club very slowly as it was icy but not too bad underfoot.

Today will be faster running if conditions are okay and a gym session ideally.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/01/2019 07:53

Love that fun fact.

I've discovered that my morning cups makes me 1-1/2 lb heavier.
Gonna start weighing as soon as I stumble out of bed. It's going to knock my average though.
The extra lb makes a difference when weight average is in the point of lb difference

WreckTangled · 24/01/2019 07:55

I weigh first thing after I've had a wee and before I jump in the shower Grin

Ggreengrass1 · 24/01/2019 13:30

One of my straps for my watch has come, so back on counting steps. 30 mins run later.

Not2bObvious · 24/01/2019 16:42

Got my run done this morning, hit 10,000 by the time I got to work. I’m just shy of 15,000 now. But the downside is I feel extremely hungry, darn it! Dinner isn’t for 2 hours, had some popcorn an hour ago and a couple M&S rocky road bites, now to try keep busy til dinner so I’ve a small chance of sticking to 1700

WreckTangled · 24/01/2019 17:03

I'm only on 5000 steps. Pretty typical day for me tbh. Tbh there's not really much I can do to up it short of going for a walk in the pitch black down country lanes freezing my arse off (no thanks) Grin

Wolfcub · 24/01/2019 17:12

Food so far

Two slices of toast and almond butter
Skyr
Pot of fruit
Apple
Dry chocolate shreddie pic-a-pack

WreckTangled · 24/01/2019 17:16

Ooo I love chocolate shreddies!

WreckTangled · 24/01/2019 18:05

Under by 90 cals. Haven't been too healthy today.

Slice of toast with lurpak

Noodle thing again
Alpen light
Two bite sized shortbreads

Two veggie sausages with cauliflower and leek cheese
Skyr
Twix

Does anyone eat back their calories from exercise? I'm not planning to, just curious
