I'm really fucking fat :( If you are too, what's your plan?

Last year I was gutted at being 13st.

I'm now 17st 2lbs.

I've done nothing but emotionally eat all year, fuelled by depression and anxiety. To the point where I've become mildly agoraphobic.

This has got to be the year I turn my life and poor eating habits around.

I don't know where to start.

I know the title is quite harsh but I've been telling myself it's not so bad.

But it is.

I'm fat. Very fat. And I need to correct it.

Well done with all the losses!

Week 3 weigh in and another 2lbs gone, so 11 lbs in total. Aiming for 1 stone by end of January.

I've put on 3 stone myself and now 12st which might not sound bad but 3 stone is 3 stone. I've shifted a few pounds by running and trying to keep busy and avoiding snacks and trying not to think about food it's really really hard! My face is bloated all the time. Not the best for advice but maybe start walking or regular exercise. Good luck with it!

Ok, I've been dieting (blood sugar diet) since 2 feb when I weighed in at 16 stone. I've lost 1 stone 1.3 lb in three weeks. I've cheated a little bit here and there but nothing significant. I've decided to stick with it for the 8 weeks (so 5 more weeks) and my new goal is 13 stone. I don't think I'll quite get there in the time as I'm anticipating that the weight loss will slow but I'm pretty consistently losing between half and a pound a day. The more water I drink the more comes off.

I really recommend this diet to any of you who like me have a lot of weight to lose. For me, losing at 2lb a week is just too slow and I'll fall off the wagon long before any really noticeable results. I need to get a good chunk off quickly.

Taking food out of the equation is what I need. Being told food is unlimited isn't helpful and I don't see myself building good eating habits.

I've started a VLCD with counselling. Need to break the emotional cycle x

Just checking in. Weighed this morning and I've now lost 7lbs since start of Jan. so it's slow going but it's going in the right direction. Felt like a big deal though as I'm now 16 stone 13. So very nice not to see 17 something on the scales.
I'm still doing 16:8. But I could be more careful what I eat during my 8 hours some days. I'm not so good at it at the weekends. When I'm at work during the week I'm busy so I don't think about being hungry all morning.
I'm hoping I can keep going with this. I keep thinking about how much I could lose by the summer.
Hope everyone else is doing ok with this.

New Year New Me!

Had my first meeting last night. Was so good and I came out feeling very motivated. We actually talked about WHY I was eating this way not just how to not do it, ha.

A pound and a half-ish again this week, so just over half a stone in three weeks. I'm not amazingly pleased but still happy to see the scales going down.

I also might have to get off my backside and do a bit of exercise! Which has been very much missing so far...

I'm less fat than I was at Christmas but still fat lol. Wore 2 dresses for work this week that I couldn't even get over my stomach before Christmas. 2 stone 4lbs down since 19th December!

I also undergo expression last times and it's attract bad energy and makes me undergo accident. I realized this negativism makes me fat, hair loss and skin dull from this accident case. Than I decide walk out from depression than start happy again Smile. I'm in the progress of lose weight even the results not significant but I believe I can achieve goal a day.. I believe you can make it too!!!

Week 4 weigh in and have lost 1 stone and half a pound. My aim was a stone by 31st, so really pleased with that. Need to just keep my head down and doing what I’m doing and not get distracted and have a “fuck it” moment.

Well 1 month down and I have lost exactly 1 stone.
So weighed in at 16st 3lb this morning.
I have had a bad couple of days with eating with family dinners out and yesterday I had a Big Mac but back on healthy eating for feb..
I would like to weigh 15st 7lb by the end of feb. Fingers crossed!!

I hit 4 weeks tomorrow. I don't know my starting weight as I wasn't brave enough. I wanted to wait until I felt I had lost something before braving the scales.
I weighed myself this morning and I am 16 st 6 which is not brilliant but better than I thought it was.

Not so good for last few days. I've had a cold which has meant I've wanted to comfort eat to make me feel better.
My 16:8 fasting has gone out the window completely.
It's been a slow loss for me but I've lost 9lb since start of January so I'm trying to be positive about that. I just get so impatient and want to lose it all so much quicker.
I'm not giving up though. I'm back on it properly when I feel better.

@jammf 9 lbs is still a great loss! Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Concentrate on getting better & pick it back up then. Don't give up 😀
