Anyone in?

Im doing dry jan which will help, better meal planning, and upping the water intake. No official "plan" in mind yet but will look to choosing one soon.

Im weighing in Jan1st, currently just shy of 14stone. I need to hit 9 1/2 to hit a healthy BMI.

Oh God. Yes I suppose so. i've been a bit cavalier I think
Also, I think counting exercise calories is a mistake.

NakedAvenger · 07/01/2019 18:48

@FATEdestiny thanks so much. I've told myself the same things and in hindsight I allowed myself to creep upwards in calories. I think 'ooh this is working so well I can allow myself that wine/chocolate/massive portion of potato gratin'. 'Oh I worked out today so I can have that bag of crisps'. I then slow down, lose heart and stop.

I weigh same time too and I'm committed to weighing everyday to take note of those normal fluctuations.

Winnie2019 · 07/01/2019 19:04

I could kill for some chocolate and wine 😩

TulipsInbloom1 · 07/01/2019 19:07

I'm dreading weigh in tomorrow. I've eaten really well, drunk only water plus two brews a day (no sugar), and had lots of walks. If I don't see 1lb or more off in the morning I will be gutted. I know my body is healthier and will continue to get healthier due to the goodness I'm putting into it. But it'd be damn fine to see that also reflected in the scales.

Hi all 👋 just dropping by. Been following but not posting except to say hi. Had a bad day Sunday but really tried today and managed to keep to my calories with nice healthy meals. I feel like I have more energy already!

AFridgeTooFar · 07/01/2019 19:20

Hi Clem!

Fiontar649 · 07/01/2019 19:29

Hi Autumn, Hi Clem

I am nodding off in front of the TV here so going to head to bed soon too.
W/I in the morning, will be happy if I still have the 2 off that I had on Friday

AFridgeTooFar · 07/01/2019 19:43

Right...Pretty Little Liars and bed it is for me.

See you all on the other side.

WhenCanISleepAgain · 07/01/2019 20:08

Hello all, I’ll be checking in in the morning too. I’ve done five days of the 30 Day Shred now and still ache all over which may impact the weigh in I suspect. I’ve mostly been guessing calorie amounts on MFP so need to be careful I’m not underestimating too though.

fatcatshavemorefun · 07/01/2019 20:30

Have had a really good couple of days after the half a baguette incident but I just have a feeling it won’t be a loss for me this week. I’m hoping my body is slightly healthier than last week though regardless... went to first Zumba of the year today and did my best to keep up!!

TulipsInbloom1 · 07/01/2019 20:35

I'll be weighing in around 7am tomorrow.

I could not have felt worse today. Like flu crossed with morning sickness. Ugh. Stuck to the plan though and now in bed. Good luck for tomorrow everyone. May we all be giant losers.

Autumnnymph · 08/01/2019 05:37

Weighed in at 57.4 kgs today - target for 2019 is 52 kgs and am hoping to reach it by June and maintain rest of the year.

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 08/01/2019 06:12

Weighed in this morning. Lost 3lbs since Thursday and after a bad day Sunday I'm quite happy with that.

Off to prepare lunch for work so I don't graze on the left over Christmas goodies...

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 06:18

16lb.

I have no words.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 08/01/2019 06:44

16lb loss? WTAF? How is that possible? (And also: well done Grin).

Hope you are feeling better LittleDoritt. That sounds miserable.

Great loss Clem!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 08/01/2019 06:48

Well done AFridgeTooFar and Clem! I lost 1 lb this week.

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 06:51

I've had to work out the "how the fuck?" bit, so that my readers/Followers won't think I'm either lying or starving myself.

My BMI is (was!!!) over 43. Ergo, I burn a fuckload more calories just being alive.

A fair bit of it will be water weight. It'll stay off, if I continue with the diet- but I'll have lost a fuckload of water.

And that's kind of twofold, because I've given up a six-packets-of-crisps-a-day habit, plug vast quantities of other salt-laden crap. My body must have been holding onto SO much water, just because of the amount of salt I ate!

@FATEdestiny@ you seem to know a shit ton a out dieting...is this a good explanation?

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 06:52

Clem YAY!!! It's moving the right way then!

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 06:52

When way to go!

mrbob · 08/01/2019 06:53

Amazing guys! I am looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow with optimism as this is the most dedicated I have been to a diet in a LONG time...

Autumnnymph · 08/01/2019 06:54

Forgot to say thats a loss of 0.7 kgs since Friday so very pleased.
