Anyone in?

Im doing dry jan which will help, better meal planning, and upping the water intake. No official "plan" in mind yet but will look to choosing one soon.

Im weighing in Jan1st, currently just shy of 14stone. I need to hit 9 1/2 to hit a healthy BMI.

Tulips, I always weigh heavier the week before my period rather than the actual week itself so you may find you have a good loss.

AFridgeTooFar · 06/01/2019 12:37

Yup- I can put on between 4 and 10lb!

meow1989 · 06/01/2019 14:48

I'm 1lb down but that couldnjust be because I've previously weighed in evening and this morning I weighed before I ate or drank anything, taking it as a win though.

Decided I'm going to slimfast for a week or two to kickstart then start bed with 3 meals a day. Am still doing my 3 walks a week though.

Fiontar649 · 06/01/2019 14:49

I gain too - my stomach also gets bloated.

Just cleaned out my cupboards and did a stocktake of the different tins and packs we have usually hidden behind crisps

Only need to do a small top-up shop to have my lunches /dinners sorted for the week.

Do you all shop weekly? We tend to go twice a week to top-up for the following few days. Basically when DH runs out of milk and bread.

Have hardly spent anything so far this month (haha- it has only been 6 days) which is an added bonus for this time of year! Going on holidays in 6 weeks, so savings will go towards spends.

Pinkroseuk · 06/01/2019 14:51

Afternoon all- can I join in? Hoping to shed 20kg ASAP as waiting for tablets to help us ttc. Lost about 9kg since November but seem to have got stuck at about 90kg! Any help would be amazing :D xx

fatoldfucker · 06/01/2019 15:00

I’m desperate too,4 stones to lose yet again.

fatoldfucker · 06/01/2019 15:01

Err stone

Pinkroseuk · 06/01/2019 15:02

@Fiontar649 we go shopping every week but have done a list of food we have like you and we have enough (excluding salad and veg) to last a month at least so not shopping st all in January!
We also have a milkman and veg box that come so hoping to not set foot in a supermarket and save us some money too :)

AFridgeTooFar · 06/01/2019 15:20

I have a confession...

I gave into temptation (I blame you lot for posting your weights today 🤣) and jumped on the scales.

I've somehow lost TWELVE FUCKING POUNDS!!!!!!

Fiontar649 · 06/01/2019 15:20

Welcome Pinkroseuk and fatoldfucker - pull up a pew!

Pinkroseuk - we are trying to be less wasteful as well as eating better, but we are lazy. Often open fridge, make a "meh" face and order takeaway. We can afford it, but it is such a waste of money and obviously not diet friendly. Then the fridge food eventually ends up in the compost bin.

So we have resolved to cook more, waste less, and save the difference.

Hi everyone! I’ve been offline for a few days and have just had to read about 10 pages to get up to speed Grin. It sounds like everyone is generally doing pretty well!

I’ve been doing ok. Not perfect but not terrible. I have been good with exercise. Unfortunately I made the mistake of weighing myself a few days ago and I had gained weight Sad. It just knocked my morale and motivation a little bit, but I’m trying to not let these little things knock me and look at the overall trend over a few weeks/months. It’s frustrating because the biggest thing to motivate me to lose weight and to eat healthily is to see a decent loss!

I think I said before, but I was aiming to lose 6lbs in 6 weeks...so fingers crossed I’m 12 stone by 10th Feb!

Fiontar649 · 06/01/2019 15:21

Holy fuck Fridge

You rock!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 06/01/2019 15:21

I feel thinner already but not weighed myself as yet (will do so when I've been on the diet for a week). Felt really hungry at lunchtime today having eaten yesterday's evening meal too early (before 6pm). Weekends may prove to be more of a challenge because they are less routine (with lie-ins and it's not uncommon to be having lunch at 2pm rather than 12pm.

AFridgeTooFar · 06/01/2019 15:23

I KNOW some of that will be water weight...but most of it will be No Bacon Frazzled, right???

I just weighed myself on my friend's scales, in case mine were fucked.

I'll still weigh again on Tuesday. I'm refusing to "bank" it yet...

Winnie2019 · 06/01/2019 15:23

Wow Fridge that's amazing! Smile

AFridgeTooFar · 06/01/2019 15:25

I'll be one of the maintainers next week, probably. I GZF. Everything I've put inside my body this week has been Good For Me. I'll save my fucks for THAT fact...not the scales.

Pinkroseuk · 06/01/2019 15:36

Well done fridge!

@Fiontar649 we live out in the country where there is no takeaways and nearest town has a co-op but shut when we're back from work so unless we drive 30 mins to another town we have no choice but to eat something out the house- though think this doesn't help with my overstocking! You plan sounds great- I have been looking into getting a wormery but didn't realise how much they cost!

Elmashbu · 06/01/2019 15:46

Well done @afridgetoofar

We do a big weekly shop (oh now does it on his own as I have a tendency to add things to that look yummy) and meal plan. Hoping to save with it. Will pay for swimwear in summer for Spain (big chest so big price tag)

StealthNinjaMum · 06/01/2019 15:50

Fantastic news afridgetoofar!

tass1960 · 06/01/2019 16:12

I'm in. Re-joined WW on Friday. Am 3 Stones overweight. I am 58 and really struggling with my weight. My son is getting married in December and I am determined not to be a chubby mother of the groom.

HermioneWeasley · 06/01/2019 16:19

Fridge, that’s amazing! Well done!

GreyandGrumpy48 · 06/01/2019 16:40

Wow well done Fridge that’s brilliant

certainlymerry · 06/01/2019 17:02

Fridge that is incredible. Well done! You must feel so motivated now.
Fiontar - I wonder what the weight gain happens and the bloating? I am also experiencing this. i'm ploughing ahead anyway.
I've done really well this week with exercise. Even though i've been shattered from not sleeping all week.
Weigh in day is tomorrow.
I'm making lentil dhal tonight and had veg chilli earlier this week. For some reason I am motivated to cook the things i really like and enjoying it.

AFridgeTooFar · 06/01/2019 17:21

Next Mini Goal: 14st 11lb. (20% of goal loss)

Fiontar649 · 06/01/2019 17:22

Certainly - I reckon it's water retention? Bloats me up and the fluid weighs more? 🤔
