I would love to join, I’ve got lots to loose. To scared to get on the scales in Boots as it’s going to be really bad. Looking for lots of motivation to get me started and help keep me on track....

Ok, I'm in. 3 stone is about the amount that I need to lose, and recently I've had palpitations and fainting spells that definitely made slimming feel more urgent!

Count me in. My weight has crept up and up in recent years, partly because of underactive thyroid but mainly because I eat rubbish. I measure in kilos rather than stones but currently weigh around 88kg which is massive and awful. 75kg is my first goal.

Likely to be sabotaged with a week all inclusive holiday in three weeks but I can't put it off forever.

I had the last of the ice cream tonight - if it’s in the house I can’t resist it. Now no more sweet stuff until at least November. I’ve got to break the habit of daily ‘treats’.

Please can I join too. I keep losing the same pounds and regaining them over and over and over again!

Have just been in UK visiting my Mum and am now 10stone 9.2 pounds. I want to be 9stone 12 so 11.2 pounds to go. I intend to drink more water and less wine, walk more and sit less and write down every single item of food I eat. I have got into really bad habits over the last two months and my jeans are just soooo tight - the one pair which fits that is.Blush

Weighed myself this morning. 13 stone. I'm seeing it as a positive that I now know how bas it is, as I've avoided the scales for weeks. I'm aiming for slow steady weight loss, 1/2lb a week would be fine, and C25K 3 times a week.

Can I join too? Back to work after the summer holidays and all of my work trousers were far too tight - weight has been creeping on for a while but this was the push I needed.
I’m religiously logging my food intake on mfp and trying to up my steps every day.

I’m in! Weighed in at just over 11st this morning which is nearly a stone than I was before summer - no idea how I put on quite so much but would like it off before Christmas.

I lost 6 stone over 18 months before that so I know I can do it, just need to get started Smile Good luck everyone!

On it and prepared today!! Packed up some fruit for work snacks and made a batch of roasted veg cous cous syn free for work lunch. Tea is fried rice (using fry lite) with leftover roast pork (less crackling 😖) with some stir fried broccoli!! Will use my syns on a G&T tonight and maybe a sneaky pack of quavers!

I have given up fizzy drinks as I was drinking up to 2L a day 😲
I am walking more, I want to do at least 10k a day.
I'm going to log everything on MFP as Well.

I’m now 12 stone 4lb and trying to do mindful eating.

Can I join please? Was going to slimming world but I kind of lost my way with that when I went back to work after maternity leave a few weeks ago. I'll weigh this morning, but reckon I've got between 1 and a half and 2 stone to lose, would be lovely to have 1 gone by Christmas!

fluffy - I work in a school too, the staffroom is my worst enemy....
But it is 4 weeks until half term, so that is my first goal post.
dream - posting regularly is the way to go. That way I will hopefully remember I am doing this....
Oh, and one of my closest friends is barely over 5ft , we make quite a pair Grin
Going to hop on the scales this morning to get an accurate weight (what I posted yesterday was a (rather optimistic) guess. I prefer to work in kg so will be tracking my weight that way.

@Justabadwife out of interest how do you manage 10k a day? I have an office job and between the walk to the bus stop and back, working full time and kids to sort on an evening I would struggle to do 1k!!

Ok, weighed today 13st 1.

Good news is that I haven't gained since I last weighed myself.

Im only 5"0 so have a far way to go to be a healthy BMI again.
With the DC being so demanding I need to be realistic in that I don't have time to make the most elaborate of meals or exercise for hours so will eat appropriate potions without snacking and attempt to do at least half an hour exercise per day either during their nap or once they are in bed. Fingers crossed!

This morning I have had coffee (without my usual 2 sugars) as I can't do without caffeine, and one slice of toast with some fruit.

Iv got 11 weeks today till we go away for a few days! I want to lose 2 pounds a week AT LEAST! Would love to be 2 stone down before we go so I can have abit of a treat and not feel crap! Also wanting to have a baby after Christmas and need to be 3 stone down so I don't get unnecessary advice of the stupid midwife shouted at about my weight, will also more than likely end up with GD diagnosis which isn't a bad thing because I eat like a saint when pregnant and look skinny after the baby arrives HmmWinkGrin

This is my much better than I thought. I triple checked on the scales so it must be accurate.

I feel a lot heavier as my stomach is so bloated, but I'm guessing that eating French bread every day for the last few weeks is bloating me out.

Hello! Please can I join? Today's the first day of my diet - I'm trying to do James Duigan's Clean & Lean plan, sticking to the 14 day Kickstarter as closely as possible for the next two weeks. I've already cheated with a Diet Coke and a cup of tea which isn't a great start...

I think I'm about 11st5 and I'd like to lose 2 stone. I had a baby three weeks ago and am breastfeeding.

My littlest is 11 months tomorrow.

Had the last of the cereal for breakfast. I love cereal. But I need to go back to my GD friendly breakfasts. One particular type of cereal (the only one that didn’t spike my blood sugar), peanut butter on granary toast, and anything egg related. This also means I can share with the baby as we’ve been quite lax with giving her breakfast as I don’t want to give her a taste for cereal. 🤦‍♀️

Got eggs and veg to use up before getting the shopping tomorrow so that’s lunch sorted at least.

Thanks @Cagliostro! He's currently asleep on me and snoring very cutely.

Breakfast today - rye bread with honey and cinnamon butter (on the diet). Snack - nuts and berries.

Meeting a friend for lunch so will probably have salad, or fish with vegetables. Dinner will be a chicken stir fry.
