Just shoot me 😫

Fuck I feel huge
sunshinelollipopsrainbows · 30/09/2018 14:49

Also 3st to lose here. Ugh, it makes me scared just thinking about it!

Cagliostro · 30/09/2018 15:20

Hi :)

Couple of days “off” here... I mentioned period being heavy, well it’s gone beyond that now and I even phoned 111 as it was so bad. Nothing scary is going on, just feel like crap and literally cannot move without flooding 🤢🤢🤢

I have started taking iron again though and making sure I have lots of protein and good fat along with the carbs I’m craving.

dreamdream · 30/09/2018 16:56

Caglio I am sorry that you are feeling rough, hopefully things will improve in the next couple of days. It's just so wonderful being a woman Grin

I've had a mixed week really. I was really good the first three days and then I had two days of non stop eating, and I mean non stop. Not been too bad the last couple of days, but I'm annoyed at myself for not even making one week of being good.

It will be a miracle if I have lost any weight at weigh in tomorrow morning.

Sending you Flowers Cagliostro. Dream dream I’ve been the same- good for the first few days then lost my focus for the past couple of days. I am going to look at it this way- 3 days of being good is a whole lot better than how I was for the previous 7. Here’s to a new week!

HerRoyalFattyness · 30/09/2018 18:22

Ugh. Ive failed again!

Back on it tomorrow!

moonbells · 30/09/2018 21:02

You haven't failed. You are still here and you are planning how to get back on track. Please don't be annoyed with yourself.

That is the secret I've only learned this year. After oodles of diets over at least two decades, all of which had me putting weight straight back on the day I decided I'd finished it or blew out and couldn't stop myself because I felt so bad.

Trick is to know you'll occasionally blow out for a week or two. Or a few days. Holiday. Christmas. You then get straight back on and lose it again as quickly as you can and not let it get too much. Same goes for the actual diet. Keep going! You're doing it right!

FiveShelties · 30/09/2018 22:09

HerRoyal - not failure at all. If you never had a 'bad' day how would you know how to have a 'good' day Grin

Monday morning here and I am 10 st 5 lbs so down 4.2 lbs and very pleased about that. So 7 lbs to go. Have a good week everyone.

HerRoyalFattyness · 30/09/2018 22:14

Thanks. That's really helpful actually.
.it isn't a failure. It's just a bump in the road. They happen. It can't always be plain sailing.

GirlfriendInAKorma · 01/10/2018 06:46

Wow@FiveShelties - that's fantastic!
I've just been on the scales and lost 2lb in a week - which is really good for me - I normally lose 1-2lb if I'm really trying.
(And I have been pretty good but did have a couple of bits of cake and a couple of beers).

Good luck for this week everyone!

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 01/10/2018 07:23

1lb down for me, am reminding myself that slow and steady loss will still get me to the same place eventually!

DiscoDown · 01/10/2018 07:24

I've weighed in this morning and I've lost a pound, I've had a really bad cold this week so I'm quite happy with that! Well done to the others that have lost, and chin up to those that haven't - we'll all have bad weeks sometimes, baby steps and we'll all get there! Thanks

Languageofkindness · 01/10/2018 07:31

Hello everyone, I haven’t posted for a while as have been having a horribly stressful time at work which led me to resign yesterday. We can’t afford it so I need to find a job ASAP but I couldn’t continue in the last one. Funnily enough this led me to not eat rather than my usual binge comfort eating (although this really was a new level of stress) so I am down to 14st 9 which is only a couple of llbs off being in the overweight BMI category which is my first goal. I do feel dreadful so lack of eating and stress really not good. Anyway, onward and hopefully upward this week. Well done to everyone else!!

FiveShelties · 01/10/2018 08:34

Thank you girlfriend - it really just shows how much I must have been eating in the previous few weeks! I don't think the other 7 pounds will disappear quickly. Grin

WhoWants2Know · 01/10/2018 09:44

I was doing ok this weekend up until last night when suddenly the chocolate cake in the kitchen leapt off the shelf at me.

But I gathered up my courage and put batteries back in the scale. I'm 2 stone away from the nice green healthy part of the bmi scale.

Lucked · 01/10/2018 10:15

Down 5lbs so currently 13st8 BMI 27.5

I realise it will be mostly water weight but I had been eating loads of pasta and pizza before I started and was really bloated so expected a good loss in week one.

Good to see all the losses and still 12 weeks till Christmas

GirlfriendInAKorma · 01/10/2018 10:30

@TheWildRumpyPumpus Don't be disappointed! They all count - and I never lose much more than that in a week - I'm always slow and steady! Well done for moving in the right direction :)

lynmilne65 · 01/10/2018 10:40

I actually have Gastroparesis which means I can't eat much!

IsTheRainEverComingBack · 01/10/2018 11:12

Well I was right, last week was a nightmare week to start as so much going on. But I got engaged this weekend! So now a year wedding countdown is on and I’m going to be a chubby bride! Want to lose as much as possible by January when I’ll need to pick a dress.

Checking in at
11st 6 Shock
BMI 29.3

I’ve worked out my TDEE is only about 1600 calories (the 2000 calories thing is so arbitrary) so aiming for 1000-1200 cals a day, focusing on eating mainly whole plant foods, and getting 10,000 steps a day in, whatever it takes!

WellTidy · 01/10/2018 13:00

I have lost 5 3/4 lb since I started on my weight loss kick (12 days ago, not since this thread started). 1 stone and 8lb left to go. It feels great to have made some progress.

My TDEE is 1399, which I was really shocked by. I am 43, short and quite sedentary.

Today, I am walking as much as I can (hoping for an hour and a half), and will eat sensibly.

Good luck everyone in sticking to their plans and working towards their goals.

ilooovechristmas · 01/10/2018 21:11

Forgot to weigh today oooops...

HerRoyalFattyness · 01/10/2018 21:57

lynmilne65 Hmm fair enough. But why post, twice now, on a thread for those of us who need support to lose weight. Bugger off and gloat about being "small" somewhere else. You aren't being helpful at all.

IsTheRainEverComingBack · 01/10/2018 22:08

Did well today, about 1230cals, though a slightly odd day of snacks and ate the leftover tuna pasta for lunch I wasn’t sure on the calories for. Trying to plan the week a bit so I’m not caught unawares.

Froglady99 · 01/10/2018 22:29

Well done everyone. I had a 2lb loss (some of which may be that I was wearing different trainers!) so 12st 11lb. I have eaten cake today though, after the weigh in.....

WhoWants2Know · 02/10/2018 06:32

Bloody cake, it's always my downfall! Must get the kids to finish it off.
