Half a stone off in September - getting into the swing of it!

We’re aiming to lose half a stone in a month (but any loss is a positive step toward our goals!).

Ooo I'd like to join -half heartedly doing ww but i get married in 6 months and taking dress for a fitting end of sept so need to lose the weight ready for the seamstress

Will weigh myself tomorrow. Not expecting as much of a loss, as I’m now on leave and having some treats (completely without guilt, treats have actually become treats for me instead of daily weekly indulgences). But hoping for 4-5lb loss which would be good and think I should be on track for that.

To recap, I started in earnest at the beginning of June at 168.4lb (having peaked at 170lb in March but only managing 5.5lb in those 3 months). At the end of July I was 157.2lb.

I’m also doing LCHF.

Ha, completely pressed the wrong numbers - only managed 1.5lb loss in March to June!

I'm joining - I need to lose a bit before December as I am a bridesmaid and the dress is currently s little on the snug side! I have bought a food diary and will be writing everything down in there as I find that helps me keep on track

Right trying again for September my holiday is in 6 weeks so I want to lose at least 7lbs will weigh in tomorrow morning for starting weight.

Already been for a walk with the dogs this morning and worked out a exercise plan with a c25k app downloaded to start as well

I'd like to join please - I have a holiday in a few weeks and want to be 10lb lighter at least or else I won't fit into my holiday clothes
Will weigh in tomorrow but I've hovered around the 10st mark for a couple of years. I'm 5'3 and 52 and the bloody menopause makes it so much harder to lose weight Angry
Will be upping my gym game too.
I'm going to calorie count, using MFP and also try doing it on a 16:8 basis. Hoping this thread will make me accountable Grin

Weighed in this morning at 10st 11.2lbs. 2 weeks ago I was 11 stone so going in the right direction - end goal is 10st or under by Xmas, hopefully staying around the same for wedding in Feb. Am 5ft 5in so just over healthy BMI at the minute.

Okay. I'm in. I have a pact with DH for us both to have lost a stone by Christmas.

Today is not the start though. I have stinky cold and have lost my voice (DH isn't really laughing), so am lazing in bed, although working thanks to the advent of laptops Grin

Will be back to it over the weekend and hoping back in. Will also be logging on MFP.

delph I know someone who has done really well following the Hairy Bikers plan/approach.

Right, weighed in this morning and I’m 4lb down and still under 11st so yay! Obviously not hit 7lb but this is my holiday week (right before my end of month weigh in!) so had expected it could be slowed quite a bit, but still feels like a solid loss and remaining under 11st makes me positive about sustaining progress.

My ultimate end goal is about 135lb (initial goal is 140lb, but I feel I need to be a bit below that to keep myself in the right range I think for me).

Debbie I'm doing ww online as their app is fab compared to SW, it's like MFP where you scan foods and it reduces your daily points based on the foods and lets you know what you have left etc.

Can I join? I'm not really overweight but about a stone has crept on over the holidays - mostly around my middle. I tried on some skirts today and nearly fainetd at the tum staring at me in the mirror....(bad lighting Hmm)

I have got into bad habits- being good all day and then snacking constantly before tea.

Back to LCHF today (I only had a couple of days of high carb/high sugar but so unused to it now it feels like it was for longer), a happy return though - I’m not sure I much enjoy sugar! I do still enjoy fried chicken Grin

I need to lose weight so can I join in as well? I'm doing the exercise part ok but my snacking is out of control so need to work on that part. Good luck to everyone. I am hoping to return to the 5-2 diet and increase my vegetarian meals. I keep talking about life style changes but then return to snacking! So need to work on my mindset too! It will be easy Grin

Please count me in! Can't weigh myself yet because the battery in my scales has died but I'm expecting to see at least 168lb. I had a really good month in May and got down to 161lb, but fell off the wagon in June and it's been creeping back on ever since.

I will be calorie counting and keeping track of food on an app - tedious but it works for me. My big challenge is stress eating.

I don't really have an end goal but there are three autumn/winter skirts I haven't been able to wear for years and really want to get back into. After that we'll see.

Ok starting weight 78.1kg / 12 stone 4.
Less concerned about weight, more measurements so will add those later.

Target is 74kg / 11 stone 10 if i was going to focus on weight
