All welcome to join - no matter how you’re losing weight, whether you’re new or further along your weight loss journey, whether this is a return to losing weight... all are welcome Smile

We’re aiming to lose half a stone in a month (but any loss is a positive step toward our goals!).

So I'm still the same weight on the scale today, but I appear to be smaller.
According to my measurements I've lost an inch from my waist and each thigh. And I bought a new dress in my usual size and it was hanging off me, so going to trade it for a size down

beela · 06/09/2018 10:47

Well done happiness!

I weighed in at 61.1kg yesterday... That's the lowest I've been since March! (I've been consistently hovering between 61.8 and 62.8). Hoping to smash the 60kg mark this month.

I'm out and about with work today and need to buy lunch... Will have to look for the least bad option (trying to avoid too much bread).

Happinessisabook · 06/09/2018 10:57

beela congrats on the weight loss!
Maybe a salad? Or I like sushi, but that would depend on if you're eating rice or not

beela · 06/09/2018 11:30

Oh good call, maybe I'll try sushi. I am near an M&S so I'll see what they have to offer! If I eat too much bread / pasta at lunch time I really notice the crash an hour or two later. Rice seems to be fine.

EthelThePiratesDaughter · 06/09/2018 12:38

M&S have some good salads as well with quinoa and other grains in.

I am 2lbs down!

Chimichangaz · 08/09/2018 08:26

Am feeling disappointed in myself after weighing in at 10st this morning - it's a loss, but only 1lb. I've been at 9st 12 the latter part of last week. I know exactly why, a blowout on Chinese, wine and crisps last night. Bugger. Still, it's motivated me to do better this week. Onwards and upwards. Hope everyone else is progressing well?

Blessthekids · 08/09/2018 12:16

Successfully completed my second fast day yesterday. I won't be able to weigh myself for a while as scales are packed away due to house renovations. Will have to wait another few weeks. Maybe my jeans will start to feel loose. Fingers crossed

Stay positive. A loss even a small one is still a loss.

WickedGoodDoge · 08/09/2018 15:42

I’m 2.5lbs down this morning which I’m really pleased with I went for my 30 mile cycle this morning but otherwise take Saturdays off and eat whatever I like

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 08/09/2018 15:57

I'd like to join as well please

I joined weight watchers with a friend on the 29th of August weighing in (on their scales which weight lighter than mine) at 13 stone and 8 pounds

Im tall but not tha bloody tall!!

I was probably overstrict as i lost 5.5lbs but we are going to greece at the beginning of October and i will be eating and drinking everything that stands still long enough

And then we are away to amsterdamn at the end of October so ditto

So lets say best case senario i weigh 12 10 at the end of September...then im sure to gain 4/5lbs...so maybe i can lose part of that before i go to amsterdamn so if i am 13 stone by the end of October i think thats quite good for me.

And if i can start 2019 at 12 and a half then thats just a stone to lose

I know thats a bit slow but i can gain 8lbs in a week!! Mainly water obviously but its still depressing to see it on the scale Grin

Official weigh day is Wednesday

Sorry that was so long!!

PerditaNitt · 09/09/2018 17:02

Welcome to all the new joiners, well done to everyone who lost weight and keep it up to everyone who stayed flat week over week. I had a 2lb loss this week, which I’m pleased with. I’ve been following 16:8 and have found it manageable so far. Need to try a bit harder to stick to vegan food this week, at least Monday- Friday, since that will help me stay away from chocolate and cheese.

Lexilooo · 10/09/2018 09:11

85.7kg this morning so that is a kilo off for me which I am pretty chuffed with aa I am being less strict than I was in June and July. A kilo a week would be an excellent result, just need to keep it up!

WhenDoISleep · 10/09/2018 19:45

I still slightly up on my September starting weight - I can put that down to wine and chocolate on Saturday night.

I started back at my bootcamp exercise sessions today and I am going to have a strict month of logging all food that I put in my mouth in MFP. When I was super strict a back in March/April, I lost a stone in 5 weeks. I don't think I will quite lose that again - but hopefully I can get down to 13st which would be 6.25lbs based on my starting weight (9.5lbs based on today's weight).

MrsMozart · 10/09/2018 19:48

Had a shit week.

Stress and sadness.

Stood on the scales this morning and somehow haven't put any on. Still have headcold and still very miserable, so I'm bowing out for this month.

Good luck all.

Chimichangaz · 11/09/2018 06:10

Sorry to hear that @MrsMozart
Thanks

Maybe jump back in when you feel better?

beela · 11/09/2018 07:14

@mrsmozart sorry to hear that Flowers hope things get better soon.

I had a bit of a cake related fail yesterday, but back on it today. Spinning this morning 🚲

MrsMozart · 11/09/2018 07:59

Thank you both.

beforeihit30 · 11/09/2018 14:56

I’m going nowhere fast weight-wise Grin I’ve been off (hols) and have had a lot more indulgences, but the good thing is I haven’t gained. Getting back into it gradually this week so hopefully will see some shifting towards the end of the month, albeit unlikely a full 7lb.

I've been bobbing around the 60-61kg through the whole of the end of Aug-early September, so nothing to post, but this morning I've hit my all time low of 59.8kg. Cold viruses have something to be grateful for Hmm

jaxhwc · 12/09/2018 21:56

Well I started out well with a good loss last month but I've been to stay with family who only really eat takeout food so I'm sure I've put all that back on. Starting today with my low carb but will have to buy scales tomorrow as I don't have any here. Pretty sure I can still manage 7lb this month if I'm strict. Got a pair of jeans I'd like to get into by October.

Lougle · 13/09/2018 08:08

I'm 59.6kg this morning. That's 9st 5lbs.

Happinessisabook · 13/09/2018 10:30

Well done lougle!!
I'm still the same weight I was at the start of the month, but I've lost inches so I'm happy.
I bought a size 12 dress last week (my usual size) and had to exchange it for a 10 as it was far too big on me Smile

Lougle · 13/09/2018 13:10

That's great, Happiness Smile

beforeihit30 · 13/09/2018 21:26

Great Lougle and Happiness! Smile

I have finally started doing strengthening exercises, so glad and even in just a week I’m noticing a difference so feeling better now. Back on LCHF (wasn’t off as such, but was having a number of carb and sugar treats, which in the end I didn’t actually enjoy much, so not exactly living my new way of eating!).

OP posts:
littleredlipstick · 14/09/2018 07:06

I can't seem to get over the 12 stone mark been 12st 1lb for months. Nothing seems to work and I go on holiday in 4 weeks and would love to be 11 stone something by the time I go Sad

Allycumpooster · 14/09/2018 08:57

A plate can last for months, Little. It’s depressing but it won’t last for ever if you stick with it. Try using different measures than the scales? Clothes fitting better for eg. I bumped around 72kg for weeks then finally started moving again a couple of weeks ago. Just got off the scales at 67.94kg (10 stone 7) I’m so happy I could sing Grin
