16:8 anyone?

I've restricted myself to eating between 12pm-8pm, so 2 meals and an evening hot chocolate. Just started this week and have lost 4lbs so far Smile
Aiming to loose another 10lbs by the end of September - would anyone like to join me?

Oh and yes to mid morning being the worst time but if you get through the 10am hunger pangs then you're fine. I managed to turn down hot buttered toast at toddlers so was quite proud of myself Smile

I started 16:8 on Monday too. Ate Joe Wick's Italian Stallion Sausages at 12.00 and will have Salmon stir fry at about 7ish this evening. Was hungry Monday and felt a pang or two at around 9.00 the rest of this week but it went very quickly. I have a stone to lose until I'm happy and a stone and a half until I'm ecstatic!

I started on Monday too. So far so good, but headachy in the evening but no hunger pangs.

Got to 11:30 and had eggs on toast.

currently at hairdressers but will have chicken salad at some point between 5 and 6 hopefully.

I finished my dinner at 5:30pm and won’t eat now until hopefully lunch tomorrow.

Hi BehindLockNumberNine, I’m weighing tomorrow just to get a baseline as haven’t weighed myself in a couple of weeks. Then hopefully following week I will see a loss.

Weighed in, total weeks weight loss 4lbs. I expect it will even out at 1/2lbs per week over the next month (well fingers crossed anyway!)

Lunch today will be oatcakes, cheese and an apple.
Dinner is penne bolognese.
I won't have my hot chocolate later as I'm going out so will be having 2-3 bottles of lager instead Blush Then I won't have a drink again until mid September as we only drink at home if we're having a bbq or dinner party.

I've been pleasantly surprised today after months of burying my head in the sand about my weight, I've finally bought some scales and I'm 2lb lighter than last time I weighed myself. Still a long way to go though Smile

Hi, can I join please? I've weighed myself this morning 😲 and aiming for 1 stone in the next few months and hopefully a couple more next year 🤞

I'm used to fasting for upto 20 hours during Ramadan, where we're not allowed to eat or drink anything during daylight hours and I lose weight then but put it all back on after. I've no willpower, it's all or nothing with me and outside of Ramadan can never get in the right mindset and give up 😔
I've already had a coffee (38 cals) this morning so will calorie count on mfp too.

I need to have accountability and check in here weekly, otherwise will snack and fail. Currently off work as I work term time only so can get used to a routine before I go back

@whatifI 👋 hello. Is it meant to be only water (or I think any other non calorie drink like black tea / coffee) however I can't get by without a cup of tea in the morning with a bit of milk so I've been allowing myself it.

I read up a little bit about it and it said diet soft drinks were allowed. I'm not sure that would be a brilliant idea for me though, unless I'm going out in the evening.
