Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

Sunny. Keep on trying new foods. Keep moving to burn calories. You are doing fab.

Not2bObvious · 22/07/2018 14:26

Aye aye c’tain😉 Just after I had my moan about missing steps I threw on my running gear & went out for an hour. Just over 9,000 steps, on my way out to lunch and going for a walk after lunch to complete the last 2,000 - although it’ll probably be a good bit more.
Totally agree with life sunny, keep moving

SunnyLikeThursday · 22/07/2018 18:01

Thanks life and Not2b. I'll keep at it.

Pathetic diet just now. Too hot to be hungry.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/07/2018 19:27

Not pathetic sunny, baby steps.
YY to too hot. I had Sunday lunch planned but made hot beef rolls instead with veg.

Not2bObvious · 22/07/2018 20:17

There is no weather that turns me off eating sadly. I had Sunday roast and very nice it was, your food sounds delicious life. Then I made a lovely icecream Sundae for 300 cals instead of risking the restaurants humongous dessert. Everyone agreed our homemade version was best, so that was nice. Added another 5,000 steps so I’m at 14,000 - v happy with that.
You’ll get yourself sorted sunny when you feel better, are you improving? That breathing condition sounds stressful.

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/07/2018 21:06

Kudos to you not going for a run in this heat. Well done for the steps

SunnyLikeThursday · 23/07/2018 10:10

Not2b yes I'm pottering along. I burned out four years ago after ds had a sleep disorder. I am a lot better in many ways, but just frustrated that my diet seems to be getting more restricted rather than less. I want it to go the other way really. Just at the moment I'm recovering from a gastro bug though, so I know that's a blip and have to just remember not to get too worked up about it. I am putting my feet up today like a sensible human being. resisting the urge to rush around achieving things, which is my usual failure mode

SunnyLikeThursday · 23/07/2018 20:12

Too hot here. Same there?

Not2bObvious · 24/07/2018 06:43

Was pretty warm here yesterday but it’s not bothering me too much. Been nicely on track Sunday & Monday, really hoping for a solid 1lb off by next Sunday. Bloody holiday weight is delaying me getting shed of the what feels like a blanket of fat!
Quiet here, life how you feeling? Any further improvements with you sunny?

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/07/2018 06:46

Still a bit crappy. Way over on cals, WFH so hardly any steps. Went on a short bike ride and a wander to the park. Very hot though.
My sore throat and summer colds has come back too

SunnyLikeThursday · 24/07/2018 07:16

Not2b Thanks for asking. Pretty hard going here, it's too hot by far and my appetite is still rubbish from that bug. However, I got up at 3am and had a nice steak dinner under the stars in the cool of the garden, so that was very good. It was a two pack of steaks and I ate both. Yum. Slightly zombled now, but stooging on.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/07/2018 07:48

Food planned today and all goals there hit.
Really missing the gym but cba with this cold and don't want to over exercise.

Gonna focus on food and move as much as possible today

mammynowanauntyIRL · 24/07/2018 08:33

Life well done you, summer colds are no fun.

How’s the holiday mammy? Having a nice time?
I managed to get a quick jog/walk in before work so that’ll go a way towards my steps. Wow steak dinner under the stars sunny, nice, love a bit of steak me

SunnyLikeThursday · 24/07/2018 11:35

I made it to Tesco today and got nice and cool and now I'm sitting with wet hair right in front of the fan, which is very very nice. Having a very nice lunch too. Smoked salmon, and potatoes and spring greens. Yum.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/07/2018 19:38

Calories and macros bang on for 2 days. Didn't hit steps as biked everywhere yesterday didn't have tracker on my ankle and used car today.
Considering where I was last week I'm taking the win

mammynowanauntyIRL · 25/07/2018 20:18

Life delighted to hear it! Well done, are you feeling better?
I'd an upsetting day trying on clothes on Sunday so Sunday morning will be back on mfp for sure.
Steps are amazing but this isn't real life!

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/07/2018 20:31

I've still got some kind of cold virus thing so being kind to myself still.
Feeling a bit better.

I take it the clothes weren't fitting. Rubbish. Enjoy your break then smash it when your are back.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 25/07/2018 21:05

I hate my legs - I've got bad leg days when others have bad hair days. I bought bras!

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 25/07/2018 21:15

You sound a good bit brighter life, great work considering you’re still poorly.
I know what you mean about the clothes fitting, 2 pairs of trousers on their way back to M&S. feck sake so much for vanity sizing, more like depression sizing! Ahh well, work needs doing

mammynowanauntyIRL · 25/07/2018 22:17

Not2 holidays ok, doesn't help that I'm on low eb with totm I'd say Sad

I feel super fat and this heat is killing me. I can barely leave the house TBH. Hoping that I am at least a little more active though with all the cleaning and unpacking etc.

I am starting to use the new oven which is brilliant. It does make me feel optimistic. DS even ate some potato

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/07/2018 07:25

I'm sure your legs aren't as bad as you think. It's awfull when you can't dress a body part. So depressing.

I'm not doing too bad not. Head full of goo and a upper respiratory thing but I've still got to try.

Hey cag. You go steady in the heat. Don't over do it. Maybe concentrate on food rather than activity as it's good that will make the difference. Also Google seated workout. Did you figure out your other oven yet? Do you have the manual? Yeah to DS and potatoes.

SunnyLikeThursday · 26/07/2018 16:41

If it's any help my legs look comical at the moment and I'm a very sensible shape. But when I sit down they do look amusingly wobbly. I just keep reminding myself of how much worse I look when I'm too thin. I definitely prefer to be slightly wobbly over insufficiently wobbly.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/07/2018 17:19

Bit of fake tan works wonders. Would that help?
