Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

Today will be rubbish as I'm traveling which usually means a lot of bread based products from shops

Not2bObvious · 28/11/2018 05:54

That’ll be your carbs hit life😉, drive safe

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 06:04

My scales has returned to normal after weekend away so I'm recording again. Will it be Wednesday to Saturday recordings from now to Christmas?

Think m&s have foods that hit your macros well life although pricey.

I think the meals on nights out will be ok but I don't really want to cut back on food during the day because I've only drank twice this year so need the soakage ifykwim Grin and agree it's a fluctuation not a gain too.
I've even snuck in a couple of bottles of non alcoholic cider for my own party to curtail the damage.

My steps will be rubbish this week as so much on so food needs to be accurate to balance out.

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 06:05

I asked au pair to do the dining room for me not2 she's asked before if I want something done to tell her so this time I did!

Not2bObvious · 28/11/2018 06:35

I wish your au pair would come round mine happier, there’d be lots of asking! Yep Wednesday to Saturday weigh ins for the next month sound sensible. It’s clearly flux after weekends. You do right to lay down the soakage, you’d be floored after a few without it.
My scales is down another 1.2, that’s 2.2lb since Monday. I’d forgotten the feeling of seeing a loss! It’ll be interesting to see how the week pans out if I manage to stick to 1700 on average. It’d be a first if nothing else. I have to say so far I’ve found it fine but then I’m in eyes on the prize mode, aka stupidly expensive outfit that I want to look sensational in.

Happierwithouthim · 28/11/2018 10:39

not2 I don't ask usually but since h has been having the dc more regularly she said she has free time to do stuff in so it's reasonable. She gets paid for the longer hours even though now her hours are more like a regular au pairs so I guess she's being fair to me too.

I'm same as that want to look good in my Christmas party outfit & at a wedding too, my first big nights out since my separation news broke Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/11/2018 23:11

I took macro friendly breakfast on the train and got an m&s high protein tea. Lunch was sandwiches. Tried to choose will but hey ho.
Didn't track today and steps are shite. I thought people walked loads more than they do in London. Clearly not

Happierwithouthim · 29/11/2018 07:59

I came home from work yesterday and had 20 mins to check a sick child could participate in her Christmas concert and eat - I made poor choices. Then I scraped the jar of nutella and had 3 biscuits after coming home. This morning I know why, my excuse for totm has arrived.

Happierwithouthim · 29/11/2018 23:28

Today was a much better day

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2018 07:02

Totm and some days are just like that happier.

Wednesday was shite with traveling. If standing on a train for 4 hours counted my steps would be awesome.

Three courses Christmas lunch yesterday and took the car to work as pulling a long day at work. Shite yesterday too.

WFH today but will sort food

Happierwithouthim · 30/11/2018 09:05

life you were definitely burning more calories than sitting that's for sure.

My day wasn't great yesterday but I did my best.

Today is under control, tomorrow will be too until drinking starts Blush
Sunday will be fine again

Not2bObvious · 30/11/2018 16:32

Life’s been getting in the way of catching up but so far so good. Even though I ate 2700 last Saturday out of my 11,900 budget, I caught up. I have around 2,200 left for today which is handy since I’m out tonight. My steps haven’t been great the last 2 days so I think that made it easier to stick to the lower cals. Scales is looking pretty good too but totm has hit so it could go up tomorrow or Sunday. But for once I know hand on heart I wasn’t overeating - not even sneaking. So tomorrow I start again and this time I won’t blow 2700 in 1 day!

Not2bObvious · 01/12/2018 09:39

Managed to stick more or less to my cals. My daily average from last Saturday was 1723, so that’s good. Scales down
2.4lb from last Saturday and on average 1.7lb but that’s not for sure TIL tomorrow. On the more important side of things I got into a new pair of skinny jeans from River Island that had been too tight and pushed to the back of wardrobe. That’s proving at least it’s a bit of fat melting away. And so I start again!
Hope you have a great night happier, make sure you tell how it went - enjoy a few drinkies😉

Happierwithouthim · 01/12/2018 11:37

Thanks not2 I weighed in at +0.3lbs but tremendous amount of travelling & no exercise so I'm ok with that.

Only eating brekkie now so that'll spare calories for tonight!

Not2bObvious · 01/12/2018 13:11

In the grand scheme of things .3 is feck all, like 150gr? Definitely nothing to note and completely understandable with travel etc.
I’m wrecked, did a 7 minute Davina session yesterday, maybe 12 minutes including the warm up and I can barely sit down😂 Ridiculous! I think I’ll do another one with weights and then have a bath, I feel a need to workout more than a walk

Happierwithouthim · 01/12/2018 17:52

It's not significant at all, I'm going to get back at home heroes this week, want to tone my arms for wedding at end of the month

Happierwithouthim · 01/12/2018 17:52

Davina can be tough going alright

Happierwithouthim · 02/12/2018 07:33

Well I didn't do so badly last night. Had a few drinks but not crazy amount.

Tomorrow starts two weeks of bootcamp Grin

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2018 07:54

Well done - did you have fun? I had an early night but rubbish sleep, still waiting to do my last weigh in of the week to see the results. I’d love to be doing boot camp, I need to get back to some decent activity. Although the pain from doing a few squats is rather still too real😩

Happierwithouthim · 02/12/2018 08:07

I had a brilliant time & everything I made was a complete success!

I loved bootcamp last year but my health didn't stand up to it this year. It's an intensive course of 5 days a week for a month. This session is just two weeks so I'm good with that. Must buy Epsom salts! Squats Burpees aargh!!

What you waiting for? Another wee Grin

I'd a rubbish nights sleep & cant get back to sleep, ds is here alongside me

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/12/2018 08:17

Really pleased it went well for you happier. Did you get the instapot sorted.
Good for you signing up for bootcamp.

I'm going to body pump this morning. I haven't been for over a week so it's gonna hurt.

Bizarrely I weight less when I don't do fitness. How does that work?

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2018 08:20

Truth be told I’m hoping for a bit more than a wee...Blush I know it’s ridiculous really but it’s been so long since I had decent progress with the weight loss, I don’t want silly flux to mess it up. I need something to give me a lift.
That’s great that you had a brilliant night, shame about the sleep. You’ll sleep well after bootcamp!

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2018 08:20

I think it’s your muscles hiding water life, yeah it’s a bit sucky though. Have fun

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2018 08:21

Holding not hiding ffs

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2018 09:03

Down to 158.4 from 160 average last Sunday. That’s great, pleased to be back in the 150’s, it took weeks to get to the point where I got my sh*t together. Long may it last!
