Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

My new term has started well with good intentions (hope they last 😬)

Swimming at 6.30am, eggs and asparagus, fruit salad, cup of lemon water.

Lunch was half a jacket with lots of salad and a small portion of cheese and coleslaw. No pudding! I'm having my first cuppa of the day.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 05/11/2018 16:37

life the Hallowe'en chocolate was screaming at me so I'd to go to bed, cover my head to drown out the 'eat me, eat me, eat me' I was hearing then when I resurfaced dd's leftover pancakes were calling for reheating with some nutella(only bought on school holidays but mid term jar isn't finished Angry

I got through it though.

thistime good work on starting as you mean to continue. What's the plan for dinner this evening?

My adductors(googled!) are hurting today and across my shoulder blades so obviously my running technique needs adjusting but I'm going to head out again this evening. My friend can't go today but we're going wednesday evening instead.

I've just done up a spreadsheet for all the days right up to my friends wedding for steps/calories burned/calories consumed/water and marked out the occasions I have along the way too

Sounds like you’ve got a great plan mammy, fair play to you going out again, might help stretch out the muscles. I’m doing pretty ok, scales down .8 from yesterday so going in the right direction. Can feel my jeans are tight, and since I threw out all my bigger ones I have no choice but to shape up. Nearly at my 15,000 steps, off to the cinema with my preplanned snacks - looking forward to it😬

mammynowanauntyIRL · 05/11/2018 18:06

Well done on planning snacks before gym it's dropped to 4 degrees here but I'm still going Grin

Getting rid of the bigger clothes means you've no choice but to keep going not2 GrinStar

Sounds like everyone has a good plan! 🌟 all round !!

OMG dinner.... I'm counting down the minutes til kids bedtime so I can devour my soup (shop bought so not completely virtuous) but will avoid bread. I've just had an apple and some grapes for a snack. Early bedtime here tonight too I think as there is too much temptation!!

mammynowanauntyIRL · 05/11/2018 19:45

Thistime some shop bought soups are good too.
I've turkey taco mince made but really don't feel like it so think I'll have spinach tagliatelle with some pesto & bacon medallions & chorizo.

I had loads of sweets today as they were there. FFS. 11600 steps, no gym.

A spreadsheet sounds like a good idea.

Well done you lot

Not2bObvious · 06/11/2018 19:42

Steps done, calories and macros hit. The kitchen is closed!

mammynowanauntyIRL · 06/11/2018 21:53

Not2 get you!

Macros hit, water hit & steps only at 6200, going to hit 10000 no matter what

I’ve been saving live chats from some of the affiliates mammy and this morning I jogged on my treadmill watching Jerri first & then Stef. I have a Kath & Jerri saved for Thursday mornings treadmill session. For anyone not in Team RH that must sound very odd😂

mammynowanauntyIRL · 06/11/2018 23:17

I've kinda stopped watching videos so that's not a bad idea, I used to do that

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 07/11/2018 07:59

I’ve saved a few to watch later and get my steps in. I’m very lucky to have a treadmill, I’d need a boat to go outside! Lashing rain here.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/11/2018 08:31

Fluke day yesterday 17, 7odd steps. Pub for tea was steak pie chips and mushy peas though.

No weights class on today but might do attack tonight

mammynowanauntyIRL · 07/11/2018 10:26

I did my steps last night but it was painfully slow watching them creep up, I prefer running like the evening before I ran 5k approx and clocked up my steps so quickly.

Treadmill sounds good but I know I wouldn't use one, I use it in the gym when the weather is too dangerous outside and it just doesn't bring me joy. But maybe it'd be an idea for while dc are small.

Today is tracked so should be good

9296 today but didn't walk home as tanking it down.
My new danger point is coming home with a headache craving sugar.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 07/11/2018 20:33

Only got teeny run done because of time constraints so only on 7k yet but I'll do the rest while watching emmerdale

I've 103 cals left with protein hit but only 23g fibre Hmm

10000 steps 💪🏻

9400 here.
Well done Mammy.

Walk to and from work today. 30 minutes pump tonight. Gonna start tracking food again.
Are you still on 35g fibre?

Not clicked on the link but I advocate the calories in v calories out for weight loss. Movement doesn't have to be strenuous. Walking is fine

thistimenextsummer · 08/11/2018 06:47

Hello! Good going everyone!

I've got an aerobics class tonight - first one in months 😱! Better dust off my trainers!

Food wise I'm doing ok, really trying to keep carbs and portion sizes under control and snacking on fruit rather than chocolate biscuits 😬.

I was trying not to weigh myself until I've been going for a week but weighed in yesterday and have lost 1lb! I'm aiming for 1lb a week until Christmas so I'm on target at least!

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/11/2018 08:15

1lb off is none too shabby

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/11/2018 08:33

So I'm sitting at 3lb more than I want to be but it seems to be all on my thighs. This is a new phenomenon. Wonder if it's all the squats

Not2bObvious · 09/11/2018 09:29

Well done this, a lb is great. My average is down 1lb so far but Sunday is the official day. I’ve managed to stick to my calories, went under 1 day & over a bit yesterday but it still balances to 1800 on average. I’m on target for 15,000 steps a day too, working hard on taking it one day at a time & being patient. Being impatient certainly hasn’t been a resounding success!

Moanranger · 09/11/2018 13:53

Got slightly off track for the last week due to having to take antibiotics that were really rough on stomach so I had to eat with each dose, PLUS due to dental issues can not eat anything to hard or crunchy - goodbye carrot sticks! Just took last dose, so can now reduce food intake.
Have been wearing fitness tracker for 5 days, starting to get the hang of it. (Misfit) So am gently increasing exercise. I have been going to Pilates regularly now, & starting to notice an improvement. Hope to post some losses soon!

Wolfcub · 09/11/2018 14:47

No loss or gain again this week
