Diff aims, diff gains ...
I follow iifym with Team RH, I'm struggling a bit with my health this year so progress isn't as fast as last year but it's taught me so much about myself, my body and why I'm important, most importantly because I'm satisfied with my food I don't binge
Goals:
StarWeights section of gym
Star Size 10 clothes
Star 35lbs weight loss

Pretty wet today, so skipping walk, Fri & Sat look dry & mild, so will make up for it then.
Still eating the cupboards as trying to have an NSD. Have a shopping list prepped with coupons for extra Nectar points, buying only what I cannot get elsewhere at Sainsbury’s. I am going to try to put off shopping til Sat. Partner away til Sat pm ( we have a scheduled meal out in the eve.) This time what works for me is to plan ahead. I do not stay perfectly on plan, but am more likely to if I have a plan.
So if I plan to go to Costa, I also plan what I am going to order. Yes, sometimes I get seduced by a tasty item; also, look at both calories AND cost. You probably could have got a pastry cheaper elsewhere and maybe fewer WW points? Live & learn

thistimenextsummer · 01/11/2018 14:22

Moan I got carried away as my mum was paying 😂
When in WW before I have planned ahead - I find it good for covering a lot of places - just had an epic fail today

mammynowanauntyIRL · 01/11/2018 15:14

My steps aren't great but everything else is good. Saw another new low weight on scales this morning. Cinema this afternoon with dc & taco fries for dinner, home made though so should be ok.

Well done mammy! what are taco chips? Sounds yum!

mammynowanauntyIRL · 01/11/2018 16:24

Mince in very spicy tomato based sauce over chips topped with pink sauce & melted cheese

OP posts:
mammynowanauntyIRL · 01/11/2018 16:25

I've also got taco boat shells so could bake in that either & forgo chips

That looks amazing! And I love spicy! Il give the blog a bit of a browse too - need some inspiration 😊

WereWolfcub · 02/11/2018 08:58

Still 15. Not moving anywhere but honestly after the week I’ve had I’m lucky I’m not comatose in an empty shop shelf box of mars bars

mammynowanauntyIRL · 02/11/2018 11:58

Wolf give yourself a break you've a lot on your plate

Taco fries were great - pink sauce made with lighter than light mayo 50% reduced ketchup & sriracha sauce

I've it in two soft shell taco boats today for lunch with cheese & pink sauce again

Lost my second dog yesterday & didn't wallow in chocolate

I love Team RH - these are my movie snacks.
Today I had a bagel with bacon medallions & black pudding
Steak & chips
Can of diet red thunder
Spinach fresh tagliatelle with chicken in pepper sauce
And then a bowl of breyers ice cream with fulfil bar & pack of popcorn
And I'm within calories, have hit my protein goal & had a good amount of fibre plus drank lots of water

Keep going wolf! Sorry you've had a shitty week - hope this next one is better for you xx

Mammy how did you get all of that in your calories? Well done!

I've tipped the scales back at 13st (knee I would - end of holiday excess) I'm going to be mindful of what I eat today whilst still enjoying my last day before going back to work. I'm going for a pre-work swim tomorrow morning and have eggs and asparagus lined up for breakfast (no toast - trying to lower carbs where possible)

Not2bObvious · 04/11/2018 08:36

Nice snack haul mammy, hope you enjoyed. My weekly average has gone up by .4 - which quite frankly I’ll take very gladly. Totm this week and I ate like a woman possessed by 2 women...
Anyway, I’m pulling myself out this stupid behaviour. Ive spent the last 20 minutes filling in my mfp, working on keeping full from proper food instead of eating too little during the day & binging on crisps at night. Also need to buy less junk, don’t need it every night. A treat for me could easily be toast with pb & jam, and I’d have the calories for it. Take me longer to eat & be more satiating. Anyway got to put the best foot forward & stop self sabotaging

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/11/2018 08:45

Hey, fell off the thread. Sitting around the 132 mark now. Which given I have done zero tracking is not bad. Trying to summon up the impetus to go to body pump

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/11/2018 09:22

@thistimenextsummer I didn't eat all the ice cream just 120ml
Rest of food by weighing out & being mindful of good choices

I've lost 0.6lbs this week, read somewhere there's 59 days until 1st jan. I've a wedding to attend on 30th Dec so that's my goal.
Haven't hit my steps goal in so long, this is the next thing to achieve now. I know when I do that it'll all come together, I'm losing through food alone but the two together will be better.

@Not2bObvious Children's Halloween haul is way too tempting so they're at their dads today & I'm going to pack away the stuff & bring out just enough for them during the week.
Bloody periods Angry do you allow yourself the extra cals for it. I do now, there's one night a month where I can't be filled so I allow myself up to 300cals extra that night only & that seems to sort me out

Life that's a good weight to be at after falling off the thread. Going running with a friend today, so steps goal will be checked off today

If you saw my mfp mammy, it looks like I allowed an extra 2 days calories never mind a few extra. 4000 calories on Friday, wtaf??? That’s cut me out of my house numbers if I keep it up. I managed before to control the totm cravings, mainly because I realised I was hungrier I was also being a bit of an excuse maker.
Well done on your loss, I defo agree if you can get the steps up you’ll see an increased loss. Imagine dropping 7-10lb before the wedding!!

thistimenextsummer · 04/11/2018 09:34

That's a really good idea to have a post- Christmas goal. I can easily put on a Stone by Boxing Day Blush

I've just had the most delicious, and WW 0 points breakfast - 2 large grilled mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, steamed asparagus and two poached eggs. It's so true about filling up on good stuff. Essentially I just like food - all food! - so I may as well fill up in less calorific and healthier alternatives.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/11/2018 10:28

Went back to Lidl to buy up more of those bars & they were gone Sad
Got a box of 3 fulfil bars half price in Dunnes Stores though

That kind of loss would be great would see me at 11st for wedding.
I now have money to buy gym membership for myself dc & au pair so will have that for 2019 too. If h sticks to the days he currently does I could do spin/circuits mon & barbell on wed nights.

Maybe that binge was the eye opener you needed not2?
*
Thistime* I've 2 poached eggs almost every single day, definitely filling up on good food makes all the difference

It wasn't Christmas that did damage for me last year it was the 4/5 weeks leading up to it Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/11/2018 11:23

Went to body pump. Urgh. First one back is always awful and only been away a week

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/11/2018 12:09

You did it though life Star

I met my friend & we ran 5k, we're going again tomo eve Smile that'll be two days hitting my 10k steps

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/11/2018 12:53

Well done mammy

Not2bObvious · 04/11/2018 16:40

My eye opener was trying on my Christmas party dress and realising I looked like a badly stuffed sausage!
Well done on the 5k mammy, I did my jog too and a decent walk - we’ll all be super models by Christmas 👌

thistimenextsummer · 04/11/2018 17:30

😂 maybe my dark humour, but whenever I hear the phrase 'supermodel' it reminds me of this terribly depressing 90s/00s advert (a scene not so different to me at home right now 😬)

Roast lamb for late lunch. Now to avoid 'dinner' as I'm suitable full and do not need to eat another thing!

Had to go to bed early last night as I was in danger of eating all the chocolate Grin 8.15 same as the dc Grin

Run with friend put back to wed eve so I'm going to go by myself, different route probably

Good call Mammy.

Walking to work now. Legs ache from yesterday. Good food choices but not tracked.
